In addition to viewing our 2020 Fantasy Football Projections by position, we will post our preseason projections per team.
Below you will find our 2020 fantasy football projections for Washington.
Starting seven games as a rookie, Haskins averaged just 175.0 passing yards per game and 6.77 per attempt while throwing seven touchdowns and three interceptions. Learning a new offense in such an unusual offseason could make it even more difficult for Haskins to take big steps forward in his sophomore campaign.
In his age-34 season, Peterson rushed for 898 yards and five touchdowns on 211 carries and added 17 catches for 142 yards in 2019. With Derrius Guice released this offseason, Peterson will likely lead the backfield in scrimmage yards and touches in 2020 even though rookie Antonio Gibson offers plenty of upside.
Gibson possesses a superior combination of athleticism (4.39 forty) for his size (228 pounds) and broke tackles at a ridiculous rate (33 on 77 career touches) at Memphis. With Guice released and Peterson now 35 years old, it wouldn't be a shock to see the (early) third-rounder see his rookie role continue to expand throughout the season. Earlier this offseason, Ron Rivera said Gibson has "a skill set like Christian (McCaffrey)."
Rivera recently used the following adjectives to describe Love -- "multi-dimensional," "every-down back," "explosive" and "dynamic." Love is worth a dart throw at the end of your fantasy drafts this summer.
Beginning his career with five consecutive 50-yard games including a pair of 100-yard performances, McLaurin was quick to emerge as the team's top receiver. Finishing his rookie campaign with 58 catches for 919 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games, McLaurin should be even better in 2020 as Dwayne Haskins becomes more comfortable as the starter.
Down the stretch, Sims closed 2019 with at least seven targets, four receptions and 40 yards in each of the final four games. During that span, he hauled in 20 of his 36 targets for 230 yards and four touchdowns for the ninth-most fantasy points (half-PPR).
