  • Worst ranking: 10th (The Athletic)

Below you will find a Week 10 roundup for the Bills in our consensus 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

The Athletic -- Rank: 10

There have been three instances this season where an offense has had nine pass plays of 20-plus yards in a game. The Bills are responsible for two of them: Week 2 against the Dolphins and Week 9 against the Seahawks. On third-and-16 in the fourth, they caught the Seahawks in a blitz and threw a screen to John Brown for 33 yards, scoring a touchdown two plays later to go up 34-20. The Bills' defense then produced two sacks and an interception. Josh Allen ran the ball in for another touchdown. Buffalo went from 27-20 to 41-20 in under two minutes of game action.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 5

Josh Allen showed against the Seahawks that he wasn't an early-season fluke. He was special against Seattle, but the Bills defense still has issues.

USA Today -- Rank: 6

They go as QB Josh Allen goes -- and that's been a good formula for success in 2020. But more balance could really make Buffalo dangerous at playoff time.

ESPN -- Rank: 6

Recalibrated expectation: Win a playoff game

The Bills are 7-2 and on the inside track to win the AFC East for the first time since 1995, but winning the division has been the expectation since the offseason. At this point, Buffalo shouldn't simply expect to just make the playoffs; it needs to actually win a playoff game -- and the Bills are talented enough to do so. Josh Allen is playing the best football of his career, and the Bills' defense dominated the Seahawks' offense in Week 9. If both trends continue through the postseason, Buffalo will be playing football well into January. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

NFL.com -- Rank: 6

Josh Allen busted out of his slump in a big way on Sunday, outplaying MVP front-runner Russell Wilson in a 44-34 win over the Seahawks in Orchard Park. Allen stood tall in the face of a blitz-obsessed Seattle scheme, completing 31 of 38 passes for 415 yards and three touchdowns. He threw for 154 yards in the first quarter alone (a career high) and added a rushing score in the fourth quarter that effectively sealed the game. The Bills' defense brought a blitz-heavy game plan of its own, forcing Wilson into four turnovers (two interceptions, two fumbles) that turned into 16 Bills points. The Bills have now won three straight with a chance to improve to 3-0 against the NFC West on Sunday in Arizona.
