Kansas City Chiefs 2023 Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft, we will update our Kansas City Chiefs Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Kansas City Chiefs from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Chiefs:

The Athletic - Dane Brugler (5/3)

30. Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson

Whether he is lined up outside or inside the offensive tackle, Murphy plays with the initial quickness and nose for the football to be disruptive in the backfield. Clemson should have one of the best defensive lines in college football next season.

Draft Wire - Luke Easterling (5/3)

30. Jaxson Kirkland, OT, Washington

Another offensive line that has been improved, but still could use more help, the Chiefs land a talented tackle prospect that should benefit from an extra year at the college level.

Fox Sports - Jason McIntyre (5/3)

30. Khari Coleman, EDGE, Mississippi

Injuries derailed him last season at TCU, and now he transfers to the SEC. He'll try to duplicate his awesome 2020 campaign, in which he led all freshmen in America with 15 TFLs.

PFF - Michael Renner (5/2)

30. Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

Johnston is a 6-foot-4 long-strider with some real speed. He's been a big-play threat in his two seasons with the Horned Frogs, averaging 19.8 yards per catch over the course of his career.

CBS - Ryan Wilson (5/2)

30. Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas

No running backs went in the first round of the '22 draft but two went the year before, and one went the year before that ... when the Chiefs took Clyde Edwards-Helaire. K.C. doesn't have a ton of needs but if any RB is a likely first-round target, it will be Robinson.

The Draft Network - Joe Marino (4/30)

30. Nolan Smith, EDGE, Georgia

The Chiefs are revamping its edge-rushing situation and George Karlaftis is a fine start. The next phase of the overhaul can be adding a dynamic talent like Nolan Smith who can do it all as an edge defender.

The 33rd Team - Michael Schottey (4/30)

30. Isaiah Foskey, EDGE, Notre Dame

Another defender who elected to return to school, Foskey has had multiple 10-sack seasons and has a pretty great nose for the ball and for jarring it loose from the other team. The Chiefs continue to rebuild their defensive front after taking George Karlaftis in 2022.

Pro Football Network - Cam Mellor (4/30)

30. O'Cyrus Torrence, IOL, Florida

The Billy Napier offensive line factory produces another top prospect, this time his first as the Florida Gators' head coach. O'Cyrus Torrence is an incredibly sound guard with a documented ability to pancake any defender in the run game. His pass-blocking skills are elite -- he can anchor well and has some of the best balance and footwork.

Torrence will have a big test moving to the SEC full-time, but he's proven through three years at Louisiana that he's ready. The Chiefs did select sleeper pick Darian Kinnard who could factor into the guard lineup, but odds are he pushes Lucas Niang for reps or ultimately out at right tackle.

Barstool Sports - Steven Cheah (4/30)

30. Clark Phillips III, CB, Utah

Trent McDuffie was a great pick this year but they still need help at Corner. L'Jarious Sneed is also in the final year of his deal in 2023.
