New York Jets 2024 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft, we will update our New York Jets Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the New York Jets from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Jets:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson (5/9)

24. Graham Barton, OT, Duke

The Jets declined Mekhi Becton's fifth-year option, and Duane Brown will turn 38 in August. The Jets used a fourth-round pick on Carter Warren, but adding a versatile lineman like Barton here would make sense.

Note: The 2024 conditional second-round pick the Jets sent to the Packers will become a first-round pick (this one) if Aaron Rodgers plays at least 65% of the team's snaps in 2023.

CBS Sports - Josh Edwards (5/8)

27. Graham Barton, OT, Duke

It is an important year for Mekhi Becton. If it goes poorly, New York will absolutely need a new starter on the offensive line.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler (5/2)

27. Graham Barton, OT, Duke

Barton might not have elite length, but he moves well and consistently executes his assignments on film. He might be 2024's version of Peter Skoronski.

CBS Sports - Ryan Wilson (5/2)

27. Javon Bullard, S, Georgia

Aaron Rodgers never had a first-round WR in Green Bay and the Jets take on that tradition in New York.

Fox Sports - Rob Rang (5/1)

13. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

The Jets, of course, boast the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year in fellow wideout Garrett Wilson (among other talented pass-catchers), but with Aaron Rodgers now in the fold, providing him dynamic weapons is a must. Egbuka is often overshadowed at Ohio State, but scouts rave about his pro-ready play and mentality.

For the Win - Christian D'Andrea (4/30)

21. Maason Smith, IDL, LSU

Free agent addition Solomon Thomas could be the answer next to Quinnen Williams, but he's only signed through 2023. Smith would provide an inexpensive replacement capable of bringing more to the front seven thanks to his blend of size (6-foot-5, 300 pounds), strength and athleticism. Of course, he'll have to put a 2022 season marred by injury behind him to get there.
