Miami Dolphins 2019 Fantasy Football Projections

In addition to viewing our 2019 Fantasy Football Projections by position, we will post our preseason projections per team.

Below you will find our 2019 fantasy football projections for the Miami Dolphins.

Josh Rosen354.5217.12446.112.9411.1724.891.80.25137.94
Whether Rosen starts Week 1 or not, it would be an upset if he didn't start more games than Ryan Fitzpatrick as the Dolphins try to get a close look at what they have in the second-year quarterback. After all, the Dolphins are the consensus worst team in the league (see consensus NFL power rankings) and could find themselves with the first overall pick in a more talented quarterback class next year.
Ryan Fitzpatrick118.271.5886.55.024.4313.357.20.454.8
Reports are that Fitzpatrick has outplayed Rosen this offseason and I could see a scenario where Fitzpatrick starts Weeks 1 to 4 and then Rosen takes over after their Week 5 bye. Fitzmagic always has the chance to implode any given week, but he's a higher-upside streamer than Rosen when he is the starter. That role just may not last long, if at all.

Kenyan Drake156.46964.6951415.72.81156.17
Drake finished second on the team in carries (120) to Frank Gore (156) and in targets (73) to Danny Amendola (79) last season. With Gore in Buffalo and a new coaching staff in town, perhaps Drake will see the year-over-year bump in usage that we expected from 2017 to 2018. Despite the less-than-expected workload, Drake was efficient as he averaged 4.5 yards per carry and 9.0 yards per catch while scoring nine total touchdowns on his 173 offensive touches last season.

The fourth-round rookie got 28 of his 36 carries in the final three games of the season with Gore sidelined. Although his workload will certainly expand in 2019, he'll form a timeshare with Drake and likely get the smaller share of that split, but there is certainly upside compared to his 14th-round ADP.

Kenny Stills44.1657.13.7500088.21
Stills has finished as a top-30 receiver in two of the past three years and inside the top-50 every season except 2015. So, in other words, there's a good chance that he outperforms his current ADP. Much of his success is tied to his touchdowns -- six-plus in each of the past three seasons. With only 37 receptions on the year, Stills closed 2018 with just one reception in six of his final 10 games last year.
DeVante Parker48.9650.42.9300082.62
Who's Miami's No. 1 receiver? When the Dolphins drafted him in the first round in 2015, they expected Parker to become that guy. Durability has eluded him and the former top-15 pick has a total of nine touchdowns in 53 games over four seasons. Missing five games last season, Parker had a 134-yard game in Week 8, but failed to reach 50 yards in any of his other 10 games.

That said, he's once again generating offseason buzz as Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald recently wrote that Parker had been "best player in camp the past five weeks." Could this be the year that Parker stays healthy and puts it all together?
Albert Wilson42.9553.43.227.634.20.1578.98
Wilson missed nine games in his first season with the Dolphins and there's a chance that he won't be ready for Week 1, although Wilson himself says he's "right on track." Last season, Wilson averaged 55.9 receiving yards per game and scored four touchdowns, both of which were career highs.

As a rookie, Gesicki converted his 32 targets into 22 scoreless receptions for 202 yards (9.2 Y/R). One of the most athletic tight ends in the league, the second-year tight end should make more (but how much more?) of a receiving impact in 2019 for the playmaker-deficient Dolphins.
