The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Steelers:

The Athletic - Dane Brugler (5/3)

11. Nolan Smith, EDGE, Georgia

A potential first-rounder had he entered the 2022 NFL Draft, Smith was the vocal leader of Georgia's national title team last season. He has big-time closing speed as a pass rusher and plays with the contact balance and block recognition to make plays vs. the run.

Draft Wire - Luke Easterling (5/3)

10. Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson

Offensive tackle is another big need, but it wouldn't be surprising for the Steelers to prefer to pass rusher in the first round. Murphy is an explosive edge defender who would pair nicely with T.J. Watt.

Fox Sports - Jason McIntyre (5/3)

9. Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern

Honored as the best left tackle in the Big Ten, he'll be a potential building block on a bad Steelers offensive line.

PFF - Michael Renner (5/2)

11. Anton Harrison, OT, Oklahoma

Harrison is an athletic 6-foot-5, 309-pounder who has already shown well in pass protection. In his first year as a full-time starter, Harrison earned an 85.6 pass-blocking grade.

CBS - Ryan Wilson (5/2)

11. Jordan Addison, WR, Pittsburgh

Addison played with Kenny Pickett at Pitt and why not reunite them with the Steelers? Addison is a home-run threat at all three levels and if Pittsburgh doesn't want to pay Diontae Johnson, targeting a WR here makes sense.

The Draft Network - Joe Marino (4/30)

11. Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia

The Steelers still have notable question marks in the secondary and Kelee Ringo has the type of skill that has him destined to be among the first corners off the board in 2023.

The 33rd Team - Michael Schottey (4/30)

10. Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State

I'm not positive Porter Jr. is better than the next handful of cornerbacks on the board, but I know that if I have a chance--even a year out--to mock Joey Porter's son to the Steelers, I'm gonna go for it. Porter has an NFL-ready frame and more than enough athleticism to play at the next level. He chose to return to Penn State for this upcoming season and will be the feature piece for what should be one of the Big Ten's top defenses.

Pro Football Network - Cam Mellor (4/30)

11. Calijah Kancey, IDL, Pittsburgh

Calijah Kancey has the ability to play a bevy of positions at the NFL level. Though smaller in stature, the road map for his dominance at the NFL level is that of former Pittsburgh Panther Aaron Donald.

At 6'0" and 275 pounds, Kancey has shown enough through two seasons that he is much stronger than his size and doesn't lose any speed with his strength. Kancey has elite hands to fight off blocks and a high motor on the inside. Sound like someone we've already referenced?

Barstool Sports - Steven Cheah (4/30)

10. Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State

The Steelers have a makeshift OL and will need to build it up to protect new Franchise QB Kenny Pickett.
