ESPN -- Rank: 16
Player who benefited most from draft: WR Robert Woods
Woods hasn't set foot on the field as a Titans player, but he was catapulted into the No. 1 receiver spot after the team traded A.J. Brown to the Eagles. Brown takes 23% of the Titans' receiving yards last season to Philadelphia. Woods is now likely to get the lion's share of targets from quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who targeted Brown more than any other receiver since taking over as the starter in Week 7 of 2019. Although Woods will get a lot of targets in the passing game, he won't be a one-man show. Tennessee selected Treylon Burks with the pick it acquired in exchange for Brown. Burks should settle into a nice complementary role to Woods. -- Turron Davenport

A.J. Brown told ESPN that the stunning draft-night trade to the Eagles "wasn't my fault" and that he wanted to stay in Tennessee. While GM Jon Robinson said contract discussions got to a point "where it was going to be hard to get a deal done," Brown, who signed a four-year, $100 million deal with the Eagles, said to ESPN he would've remained a Titan if he had been offered $22 million per year. Regardless of how the negotiations played out, this much we know: Brown, with 24 receiving touchdowns at 24 years old, wanted to be paid like a star. The Titans weren't interested in shelling out the gonzo wideout money that has defined this offseason, so they sent one of their most important players to the NFC and started over at the position with first-round pick Treylon Burks. Maybe this was ultimately the right play for Tennessee -- financially, at least -- but it's also hard to say the Titans are a better team now than they were in January. In a loaded AFC, that would be very bad news.
CBS Sports -- Rank: 16
It's all about Ryan Tannehill handling himself in the key moments and big games. That's why the pressure is on him, and certainly why they drafted Malik Willis.
USA Today -- Rank: 15
They drafted some impressive players, but dealing Brown and taking Malik Willis as the presumed successor to QB Ryan Tannehill -- and all that comes with that -- hints Tennessee could be headed into a cocoon before molting into something significantly different.
The Athletic -- Rank: 16
Quick, name the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs from last season. We don't blame you if you've forgotten it was the Titans, and our panel clearly doesn't see Tennessee as an AFC favorite heading into next season. The biggest move the Titans have made since losing to the Bengals in the divisional round was trading receiver A.J. Brown to the Eagles and drafting quarterback Malik Willis in the third round. Brown's replacement, Treylon Burks, might end up being great, but it's hard to believe the Titans are a better team now than they were in January.
