Green Bay Packers Week 6 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2023 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Below you will find a Week 6 roundup for the Green Bay Packers in our consensus 2023 NFL Power Rankings.

ESPN -- Rank: 19

Fantasy surprise: RB AJ Dillon

This should've been Dillon's time to shine, with Aaron Jones dealing with a hamstring injury that has significantly limited his playing time. But through the first month of the season, Dillon hasn't delivered. He has averaged just 2.8 yards per carry in the first five games of the season. On Monday night, Dillon showed improvement, registering his first touchdown of the season. -- Rob Demovsky

Even after the slow start offensively, including a bad Jordan Love interception, it still felt like the Packers had every shot to win the game. Because they did. And the second-half script started out perfectly: First, the pretty pick by Rudy Ford; then the AJ Dillon drive, where the 247-pound back just willed the Packers into the end zone. The defense hung tough, even if it did allow the go-ahead touchdown drive. But Love really struggled to connect with his receivers most of the night and finished with three back-breaking interceptions. The most concerning part: The ball never really came close to reaching Love's intended target on any of the three picks; they were just poor decisions and/or throws. The execution has to sharpen.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 23

They just can't get anything going on offense, which has them at 2-3 and looking up at the Lions in the division. Jordan Love needs to pick it up.

USA Today -- Rank: 24

No worse way to go into a bye week than off a terrible loss. But Green Bay's next three opponents (Broncos, Vikings, Rams) have a combined four wins, so hopefully a good time for the Pack to get healthy figuratively and literally.

The Athletic -- Rank: 23

First-round pick Lukas Van Ness has started slowly (eight tackles and one sack), but there's plenty of depth in the Green Bay draft class. Second-rounders Luke Musgrave (tight end) and Jayden Reed (wide receiver) have combined for 31 catches and 369 yards, and fifth-round wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks has added seven catches for 95 yards.

FOX -- Rank: 17

I don't know if it's realistic to follow Jaire Alexander's advice and simply stop allowing touchdowns. The Green Bay defense is flawed, but holding the opposition to 17 points should give you a great chance to win. Jordan Love is going to wear this one, having thrown three interceptions on the night. All part of the fun of breaking in a new QB1.

Yahoo! -- Rank: 20

The Packers' opinion of Jordan Love seemed to be on full display Monday night. They did not want him passing the ball unless needed. Even without Aaron Jones, they were happy to keep giving the ball to A.J. Dillon and hoping that would be enough. Offensive line problems contributed to that gameplan, but it was telling when it comes to Love. And Love's three-interception night won't give them more faith.

PFT -- Rank: 24

Five picks in two prime-time games won't make people feel a strong positive emotion about Jordan.
