Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2021 NFL Mock Draft Roundup, 5.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Bucs:

NFL.com - Zierlein (2/4)

31. Jaelan Phillips, EDGE, Miami (FL)

A long-limbed edge rusher with exciting athletic talent and size, Phillips would help bolster a Bucs pass rush that could lose Shaq Barrett and Ndamukong Suh to free agency. Due to a lengthy injury history, his medical reports will garner plenty of attention.

NFL.com - Brooks (2/1)

31. Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas

With Shaquil Barrett due to become a free agent this offseason, the Buccaneers could snag Ossai to replace his production off the edge.

Akron Beacon Journal - Kadar (2/1)

31. Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU

The Buccaneers have a ton of free agents this offseason, and a lot of them are big names. Pass rusher Shaq Barrett, linebacker Lavonte David, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh are all free agents. But at wide receiver, they have potentially two big holes with Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin free agents. If they want to save some money to sign someone like Barrett or Suh, they could target a wide receiver at the end of the first round. You can make an argument for Marshall, Tutu Atwell of Louisville or Rondale Moore of Purdue. There will be some options even at No. 31.

The Ringer - Kelly (1/31)

31. Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

The Super Bowl--bound Buccaneers got massive contributions from their 2020 rookie class―particularly right tackle Tristan Wirfs and safety Antoine Winfield Jr.―and should be looking for much of the same by grabbing Etienne. Running back is a bit of a luxury pick at this spot, of course, but the Clemson star brings rare speed on the ground and big-play ability in the passing attack. And crucially, he could do his part to help Tom Brady make a run at an 11th Super Bowl appearance in 2021.

USA Today - Davis (1/28)

31. Daviyon Nixon, IDL, Iowa

Depth looms as an issue on the Bucs' D-line, especially if DT Ndamukong Suh, 34, calls it a career or signs elsewhere in the offseason. An interior force, Nixon is fresh off earning Big Ten defensive player of the year honors after posting 5½ sacks and 13½ tackles for loss in eight games.

ESPN - Kiper (1/26)

31. Joe Tryon, EDGE, Washington

Like the Saints, Tampa Bay has a few priority free agents on the defensive side of the ball, including Shaq Barrett, Ndamukong Suh and Lavonte David. Unlike the Saints, though, the Bucs have the cap space to bring them back if they want to. After general manager Jason Licht filled holes with his top two picks in last April's draft -- Tristan Wirfs and Antoine Winfield Jr. were instant impact players -- he can do that again with Tryon, who had eight sacks in 2019 but opted out of this past season. With Jason Pierre-Paul now 32, Tampa could use edge rushers. That's 6-5 Tryon. Iowa defensive tackle Daviyon Nixon is another option -- he could replace Suh. (Also, Bucs fans, remember that we're using ESPN's FPI to project the order here, and it favors the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.)

NFL.com - Jeremiah (1/22)

31. Joe Tryon, EDGE, Washington

Tryon is very well regarded around the league. He has size, length and power. He would be a nice fallback option if the Bucs lose Shaq Barrett in free agency.

Baltimore Sun - Doon (1/22)

29. Najee Harris, RB, Alabama

The defense is a huge priority for Tampa Bay this offseason with Shaq Barrett, Lavonte David and Ndamukong Suh hitting free agency. But would they be able to pass up a talent like Harris? Running the football isn't essential to Bruce Arians' offense, but a pass-catcher like Harris, who averaged 9.8 yards per reception in college, would be a nice addition for quarterback Tom Brady.

Minnesota Vikings 2021 NFL Mock Draft Roundup, 4.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Minnesota Vikings from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Vikings:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson (1/15)

14. Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan

The Vikings traded for Yannick Ngakoue and then traded him away after he played only six games with Minnesota. Even so, Ngakoue, now in Baltimore, led the Vikings in sacks (five) this season. Not only is Paye an outstanding run defender, but his elite athletic profile gives him enormous upside as a pass-rusher. Topping Bruce Feldman's annual college football freaks list, Paye runs a 4.57 forty and his 3-cone time (6.37) would have been the best time at last year's combine.

San Diego Union Tribune - Eddie Brown (1/13)

14. Daviyon Nixon, IDL, Iowa

Coach Mike Zimmer didn't hold back when he called his defense the "worst one I've ever had." Nixon, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, was named a consensus All-American. He'd pair nicely with Danielle Hunter to revitalize a once fearsome pass rush.

CBS Sports - Chris Trapasso (1/13)

14. Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State

Not that the Vikings would be pushing Anthony Barr out the door with this pick, but it's a selection made with the long-term future at linebacker in mind.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler (1/12)

14. Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami (FL)

The lack of a consistent pass rush by the Vikings will eat at Mike Zimmer all offseason. The organization might be in position to draft the top pass rusher on its board, and that could be Rousseau, who has the length, flexibility and upside to blossom in Minnesota.

The Draft Network - Joe Marino (1/7)

14. Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami (FL)

The Vikings are a team in transition after saying goodbye to some key veterans in recent years and restocking the roster through the draft. Minnesota is loaded with draft capital once again in 2021 and it's important for the early picks to be used on high-upside prospects at premium positions. While Rousseau has plenty of room to improve technically to take advantage of his physical gifts, he's a high-ceiling defensive lineman that has the potential to become a difference-maker in the NFL if everything comes together.

ESPN - Todd McShay (1/7)

14. Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech

Ezra Cleveland, last year's second-rounder, has helped the offensive line, but the Vikings still need a dominant tackle. They were one of 12 teams that allowed quarterback pressure on at least 30% of their dropbacks. Darrisaw is a talented left tackle who has power as a pass protector and can get to the second level to help block for Dalvin Cook in Minnesota's zone run schemes. Other possibilities might include pass-rush aid -- the Vikings had the fifth-fewest sacks in 2020 with 23 -- or a safety.

USA Today - Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz (1/5)

14. Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami (FL)

Mike Zimmer's remark that this year's defense was the "worst one I've ever had" no doubt will shape Minnesota's offseason. The Vikings might have to part with some key defensive figures if they can't restructure several deals, so replenishing the roster with a disruptive talent like Rousseau looks to be a vital move.

Athlon Sports - Bryan Fisher (1/5)

14. Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

It's no secret that Kirk Cousins had a hand in his face just about every drop back this past season despite having one of the more productive run games to lean on. Riley Reiff could be on the way out the door so Cosmi could slide in right away and provide for a cheaper replacement that could be a better long-term fit.

Las Vegas Raiders 2021 NFL Mock Draft Roundup, 4.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Las Vegas Raiders Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Las Vegas Raiders from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

For a more inclusive lists of mock drafts for the Las Vegas Raiders, check out our 2021 Las Vegas Raiders Mock Draft Database.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Raiders:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson (1/15)

17. Daviyon Nixon, IDL, Iowa

The Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team AP All-American, Nixon had 13.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in eight games this season.

San Diego Union Tribune - Eddie Brown (1/13)

17. Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan

For as much draft capital as the Raiders have spent recently on their defense, you'd expect better results by now. There have been flashes, but nothing concrete yet. Paye is an upside pick who hadn't produced at an elite level before (he only had 9.5 sacks in his first three seasons in Ann Arbor), but there's athletic indicators he will continue to improve as a pass rusher. According to Pro Football Focus, Paye had a 26 percent pass-rush win rate -- fourth-best of any Power 5 edge defender in the country -- which is typically defined as how often a player beats his blocker within 2.5 seconds. He's already an impressive run defender against the spread offense, which is becoming increasingly important in the NFL.

CBS Sports - Chris Trapasso (1/13)

17. Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU

The Raiders desperately need more coverage prowess at the safety position. Moehrig will bring that to the defense.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler (1/12)

17. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame

With his explosive nature, Owusu-Koramoah could easily be a top-10 pick, although his role will vary depending on scheme. That will cloud his projection. One of the few certainties with the Raiders' defense? It needs athletic playmakers and Owusu-Koramoah could fill that void.

The Draft Network - Joe Marino (1/7)

17. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame

The Raiders invested in Cory Littleton, Raekwon McMillan, and Nick Kwiatkoski to overhaul its linebacker corps and it didn't go to plan. Owusu-Koramoah has outstanding range and coverage ability, making him the perfect matchup linebacker for today's NFL. The AFC West is loaded with challenging weapons to defend and Owusu-Koramoah can help neutralize and match up with the outstanding running backs and tight ends within the division.

ESPN - Todd McShay (1/7)

17. Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama

Didn't the Raiders just draft Henry Ruggs in the first round last year? Didn't they then take Bryan Edwards in the third? Yes, but this team still needs playmakers on offense. Nelson Agholor is likely to be a free agent, and Edwards hasn't yet taken the step. Waddle missed most of the 2020 season -- though he could return Monday for the national championship game -- but he is arguably the most explosive wide receiver in the nation. He would give coach Jon Gruden yet another speedy problem to throw at opponents and also help one of the NFL's worst kick-return units. Thanks to a busy 2020 offseason and some secondary-friendly draft classes, there aren't too many other glaring needs. However, the Raiders' 21 sacks were the league's fourth fewest, and it'd be a good spot to start looking at additional pass-rushers.

This would mark the sixth time a school has sent two wide receivers off as first-round picks in the same year (DeVonta Smith being the other), and after two Alabama WRs also went in the first in 2020 -- including Ruggs -- Alabama would become the first school ever to have two WRs go in the first round twice, let alone in back-to-back years.

USA Today - Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz (1/5)

17. Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia

A breakout performer in his redshirt sophomore campaign, Ojulari has established himself as one of the most promising edge rushers in this class and a clear asset to a Las Vegas defense that ranked 29th with 21 sacks.

Athlon Sports - Bryan Fisher (1/5)

17. Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan

The one thing that has been holding the Raiders back from taking the next step is their defense and Mike Mayock's task this draft will be overhauling that side of the ball completely. Paye has the explosiveness in the edge that can help give some juice to a pass rush that failed to adequately pressure the QB.

Jacksonville Jaguars 2021 NFL Mock Draft Roundup, 4.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Jacksonville Jaguars Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Jacksonville Jaguars from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Jaguars:

EDSFootball - Hanson (1/15)

1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

Losers of 15 consecutive games, the Jaguars leave 2020 as the winners of the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. Believe it or not, Jacksonville has never owned the rights to the top pick despite picking inside the top 10 in all but one draft since 2008.

Lawrence, the presumptive top pick for several years, is arguably the best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck and this will be an easy decision as the team transitions into a new era. Including the opportunity to draft a franchise-changing quarterback at the top of the draft, the Jaguars have a total of nine picks through the first five rounds in addition to a league-high available cap space in 2021.

25. Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina

The Jaguars have allowed opposing offenses to complete 69.4% of their pass attempts, average 8.1 yards per pass attempt and 6.4% TD%, all three of which ranked bottom three in the NFL last season. Horn, son of former Pro Bowl receiver Joe Horn, excels in press-man coverage due to his size, physical playing style and a competitive demeanor.

San Diego Union Tribune (1/13)

1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

Lawrence is the pick regardless of who the Jaguars hire as a head coach or general manager. The rebuild will get a boost with three other picks in the top 50. The Heisman runner-up is a good start and a much better building block than Blake Bortles or Blaine Gabbert.

25. Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

Cam Robinson is a free agent and Cosmi is likely an upgrade anyways. You can't develop a young quarterback if you don't have a decent offensive line. It's science. Cosmi dominated in 26 games at right tackle. He did the same at left tackle this season.

CBS Sports - Trapasso (1/13)

1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

No changes here. That is, unless Urban Meyer comes to town. Then there'll be Justin Fields rumblings. Either way, Lawrence should still be the heavy, odds-on favorite to go No. 1 overall to Jacksonville.

25. Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida

D.J. Chark, Laviska Shenault, and Toney make for a fun and dynamic receiving trio for Lawrence in Duval.

The Athletic - Brugler (1/12)

1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

Regardless of the head coach or general manager, Lawrence is the guy at No. 1. While I wouldn't put the "generational quarterback" label on him, he is a generational talent with his combination of size, mobility, arm talent, processing speed and intangibles.

25. Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama

Only a redshirt sophomore, Barmore has been my top-ranked defensive tackle since the summer, but that ranking was based more on potential than consistent production. However, the Philadelphia native has continued to develop this season and unlocked his power and athleticism, which is what the Jaguars need on their defensive line.

The Draft Network - Marino (1/7)

1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

This will be the first time in franchise history that the Jaguars own the No. 1 overall pick and it couldn't have come at a better time with a blue-chip quarterback prospect in Trevor Lawrence expected to enter the draft. From size, mobility, and intangibles to resume and arm talent, Lawrence has every desired trait to be an elite franchise quarterback in the NFL. He's the obvious choice to be the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

21. Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

With Lawrence secured with the top pick, it's important that Jacksonville finds a left tackle to protect his blindside. Cam Robinson is set to become a free agent and his up and down tenure with the Jaguars means they will likely move on from him. Cosmi is a long and athletic blocker that has silky smooth movement skills that should make him an outstanding pass blocker in the NFL.

ESPN - McShay (1/7)

1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

Did you expect anyone else? I haven't seen a quarterback prospect quite like Lawrence in almost a decade, and the Jaguars are certainly in the market for one. Gardner Minshew, Mike Glennon and Jake Luton combined for the NFL's second-worst Total QBR in 2020 (43.7). Jacksonville will have a new general manager and a new coach after losing 15 games, and the 6-foot-6 Lawrence -- who has a huge arm, good mobility in the pocket and all the intangibles you could ask for -- would give the team a starting quarterback who should soon be among the NFL's best. Lawrence declared for the draft on Wednesday.

22. Daviyon Nixon, IDL, Iowa

We went offense in a big way at No. 1 overall, so let's pivot to defense with the Jaguars' second pick of Day 1. Nixon has great instincts and agility for his 305-pound size. In recent drafts, Jacksonville has padded the edge with K'Lavon Chaisson and Josh Allen, but the middle of the line still needs help. Its 4.7 yards per carry allowed is tied for fifth worst in the NFL, and Colts running back Jonathan Taylor just gutted the Jags for 253 rushing yards on Sunday. Nixon had 13.5 tackles for loss this season and would be a good building block for the team's new staff.

USA Today - MMS (1/5)

1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

We've already reached nitpicking season in the first week of January. Yes, Lawrence was outplayed by Justin Fields in the College Football Playoff semifinal that ended the Clemson star's decorated collegiate career. And the Jaguars should -- and will -- comb over all of their options, including Fields, at this spot. But this shouldn't be a difficult decision. Lawrence is every bit the singular quarterback and franchise-changing prospect he has been billed as for years. Any drama about this selection in the coming months is likely to be merely for show.

21. Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

Already equipped with the frame (6-7, 310 pounds), movement skills and knowhow of an NFL left tackle, Cosmi would provide an added degree of comfort for Jacksonville as Lawrence's blindside protector.

Athlon Sports - Fisher (1/5)

1. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

We're not too far removed from Andrew Luck leaving Stanford to call Lawrence a generational prospect but that's an apt descriptor for a guy who has pretty much done it all at the college level on the field and checks all the boxes in terms of physical attributes. The only question left is if the Jags want to sign him early or feign interest in trading down.

21. Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas

Trevor Lawrence will have a pretty solid collection of skill-position talent to begin with and the massive amount of cap space the team has can help with the offensive line in free agency. As a result, this additional first-round pick can go towards finding an impact player to boost the second level, which Ossai undoubtedly can do given his burst off the line.

Green Bay Packers 2021 NFL Mock Draft Roundup, 4.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Green Bay Packers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Green Bay Packers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

For a more inclusive lists of mock drafts for the Green Bay Packers, check out our 2021 Green Bay Packers Mock Draft Database.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Packers:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson (1/15)

31. Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama

Could this be the year that the Packers invest in a first-round receiver? Perhaps, but it wouldn't surprise me if they went with an disruptive interior defender like Barmore. The redshirt sophomore had 9.5 tackles for loss including eight sacks and three forced fumbles in 2020 and played his best football down the stretch. Six of Barmore's sacks came in the final six games of the season.

San Diego Union Tribune - Eddie Brown (1/13)

31. Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri

The Packers run defense has not improved by much and remains a significant weakness of a potential title contender -- they're allowing 4.5 yards per carry. A converted safety, Bolton is a thumper in the middle who is equally adept in coverage and was a finalist for the Butkus Award.

CBS Sports - Chris Trapasso (1/13)

31. Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa

Love this prospect-team pairing because Collins has the size to rush off the edge in Mike Pettine's scheme and range from sideline-to-sideline when needed.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler (1/12)

31. Daviyon Nixon, IDL, Iowa

One of the most impressive risers this season, Nixon flashes the power to stack blockers and quickness to leverage gaps, posting 13 tackles for loss in seven games. The last time the Packers drafted an Iowa defensive lineman, Mike Daniels proved to be a steal. Nixon could have a similar impact.

The Draft Network - Joe Marino (1/7)

31. Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri

The Packers' linebacking corps is underwhelming and a glaring hole on the roster. Bolton would finally provide them with an enforcer in the middle of the defense that can play in space, cover, and fill against the run.

ESPN - Todd McShay (1/7)

31. Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU

Another mock, another wide receiver to the Packers. Maybe this is the year Green Bay finally does it for Aaron Rodgers. This will be the 11th first-round selection for the Packers since 2012, and the only offensive one was another quarterback (Jordan Love, 2020). Rodgers, the likely MVP, slung it this season, leading the NFL in touchdown passes with 48 and showing no signs of decline -- but 18 of them went to Davante Adams. Quite simply, the Packers have to replenish the WR room with game-breakers, and Marshall (who opted out halfway through the 2020 season) can come down with balls in traffic and tack on big yards after the catch.

As an aside, running back will be something to watch on Day 2. Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams might not return to Lambeau Field, and the likes of Michael Carter (North Carolina), Javonte Williams (North Carolina), Chuba Hubbard (Oklahoma State), Trey Sermon (Ohio State) and Kenneth Gainwell (Memphis) could be names to keep an eye on.

USA Today - Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz (1/5)

31. Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida

Aaron Rodgers finally gets his first-round receiver in Toney, who would thrive with the open-field opportunities afforded to him by playing opposite Davante Adams.

Athlon Sports - Bryan Fisher (1/5)

31. Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU

Aaron Rodgers has played at an MVP form but he's still in need of a No. 2 to the terrific Devante [sic] Adams. Marshall took on an added role with the Tigers after Ja'Marr Chase's opt-out and could be the perfect complement to what is already in Green Bay.

Cleveland Browns 2021 NFL Mock Draft Roundup, 4.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Cleveland Browns Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Cleveland Browns from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

For a more inclusive lists of mock drafts for the Cleveland Browns, check out our 2021 Cleveland Browns Mock Draft Database.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Browns:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson (1/15)

26. Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa

The recipient of the Bronko Nagurski Award, the versatile Tulsa defender (6-4, 260) can rush the passer or drop in coverage. Collins had four sacks and four interceptions, which includes two returned for scores, in eight games this season.

San Diego Union Tribune - Eddie Brown (1/13)

26. Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa

The Browns need to upgrade their pass rush outside of Myles Garrett, but they also need to improve their linebacker corps. Collins has the size (6-4, 260), athleticism and positional flexibility that will cause most defensive coordinators to drool. He received the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, awarded by the Football Writers Association of America to the top defensive player in college football.

CBS Sports - Chris Trapasso (1/13)

26. Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia

Ojulari has threatening acceleration off the line of scrimmage and with more pass-rushing moves and strength, he can be one of the best young edge rushers in the NFL.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler (1/12)

26. Jaelan Phillips, EDGE, Miami (FL)

With Myles Garrett frequently facing multiple blockers, the Browns need to add another pass rusher opposite him. Phillips is a first-round talent with his athletic movements and handwork, but his landing spot on draft day will come down to teams' medical grades.

The Draft Network - Joe Marino (1/7)

23. Daviyon Nixon, IDL, Iowa

Larry Ogunjobi is set to become a free agent and so is Sheldon Richardson after 2021, creating the need for Cleveland to invest in the interior defensive line. Nixon put together an exceptional 2020 campaign and is among the biggest risers in the class. He's an athletic pass rusher that provides gap-penetration ability on the inside.

ESPN - Todd McShay (1/7)

23. Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa

The playoff-bound Browns will probably be looking exclusively at the defense here, though wide receiver depth is again something to watch. The secondary could use reinforcements, with Terrance Mitchell, Karl Joseph, Andrew Sendejo and Kevin Johnson finishing their current deals with the team; but remember that Grant Delpit and Greedy Williams will return from the injured reserve next season. A middle linebacker also might be in play. But edge rushing is this team's biggest hole going forward. Myles Garrett can't do it alone -- he had 12 of Cleveland's 38 sacks this season -- and Olivier Vernon might not be back. Collins, who would be Tulsa's second first-rounder in the common draft era, has closing burst off the edge.

USA Today - Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz (1/5)

23. Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa

At 6-4 and 260 pounds with impressive coverage ability and burgeoning pass-rushing skills, Collins is the kind of playmaker Cleveland needs at the second level.

Athlon Sports - Bryan Fisher (1/5)

23. Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina

There's a bit of a drop-off at cornerback after Horn in this year's draft so Cleveland would be wise to jump on this selection to help upgrade that secondary.
