Indianapolis Colts 2019 Fantasy Football Projections

In addition to viewing our 2019 Fantasy Football Projections by position, we will post our preseason projections per team.

Hilton missed two games last season and dealt with a high-ankle sprain down the stretch, but he set career highs with 10.6 yards per target, 90.7 yards per game and a catch rate of 63.3 percent. The only drawback with the 5-foot-10 receiver is that he has never had more than seven touchdowns in any of his seven seasons.

The Colts target their tight ends often in the red zone, but Funchess gives Andrew Luck a TE-sized receiver. Only 25 years old and just two seasons removed from a top-25 season, Funchess will help Luck more than he'll be a viable fantasy option on his own outside of deeper leagues.

2018 Fantasy Football Projections: Carolina Panthers

Averaging 7.7 rushing scores per season, Newton has 100-plus rush attempts and 500-plus rushing yards every year except for 2016.

As a rookie, McCaffrey finished with 80 receptions, 1,086 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns as he scored the 15th-most fantasy points (ninth-most in PPR). How much will the signing of C.J. Anderson cut into a boost in opportunities for the second-year back? Coach Ron Rivera (unrealistically) said that it would be "ideal" for McCaffrey to get 25 to 30 touches per game. Of course, McCaffrey won't get 400-480 touches on the year, but his preseason usage (along with the comments) suggests a major increase in workload is ahead for his sophomore campaign.

Since entering the league in 2011, Newton has finished as a top-four fantasy quarterback in all but two seasons (2014 and 2016). Of course, a huge part of his fantasy success is generated by his rushing production. Averaging 7.7 rushing scores per season, Newton has 100-plus rush attempts and 500-plus rushing yards every year except for 2016.

Anderson deals a blow to what appeared to be a massive opportunity for McCaffrey, but the second-year back has a chance to post better year-over-year numbers in 2018.
