Rotoworld - Thor Nystrom (8/21)
8. Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
You could argue that a canceled 2020 season hurts Lance as much as it hurts any prospect. The Bison had a monster team returning this fall, and Lance appeared poised to build on last year's objectively (close to) perfect season. Instead, assuming his college career is over, he's going to have to decide between gambling on an NFL team taking an unprecedented top-10 shot on a one-year FCS starting quarterback, or returning to NDSU as a fourth-year junior in 2021. If Lance enters the 2020 draft, he's your fascinating boom-bust wildcard subplot of the entire process. Either way, he would make a ton of sense for a team like the Raiders, which would allow Lance to begin his career as QB2 learning from a veteran. This bears repeating: No redshirt sophomore FCS quarterback with one-year starting experience has ever been a first-round pick.
PFF - Mike Renner (8/19)
8. Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama
Barmore comfortably possesses the best physical tools of any defensive tackle in the draft class, and all he really needs is some seasoning at this point. He earned an 83.0 run-defense grade and an 88.1 pass-rushing grade across his 269 snaps as a redshirt freshman last season. Expect a monster year from Barmore in 2020.

11. Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
Is Derek Carr a problem? Maybe. Kind of. But not really, too. And that's really the root of the problem -- the Raiders are committed longterm to Jon Gruden but is Gruden committed to Carr? Entering Year 3 in 2020 with the duo of Gruden and Carr, if the Raiders land a pick this high, one has to think Gruden will make a move if a quarterback he likes is available to him.

Although the Las Vegas Raiders showed a defensive improvement in 2019, and further strengthened their unit through last year's draft and free agency, the front seven could see further additions in the 2021 NFL Draft. There is a sense that Derek Carr is drinking in the last chance saloon in 2020, making quarterback a genuine early option, as is an injection of youth into an aging interior offensive line.

9. Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami (FL)
Oregon safety Jevon Holland could help correct a weakness, but he might be a bit of a reach in the top 10. So the Raiders look to the edge rushers -- a group that is lacking a bit this year -- to find another weapon alongside Clelin Ferrell and Maxx Crosby. While it was an improvement from the 13 they posted in 2018, the Raiders still managed just 32 sacks in 2019, tied for No. 24 in the NFL. You can't have that when you deal with Patrick Mahomes twice a year.
Rousseau -- who joined Parsons and Bateman as early opt-outs for the 2020 season -- had 15.5 sacks last season, the second-highest total in the country behind Chase Young. His size and speed off the edge could be just what Vegas covets.

The Draft Network - Jordan Reid (8/10)
8. Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama
The prospect that was the biggest surprise during my summer evaluations was Barmore. Having only played 269 snaps a season ago and only starting one out of the 12 games that he participated in, Barmore managed to finish fourth on the team in pressures (24). Recently releasing former 2018 second-round pick P.J. Hall and Maurice Hurst remaining inconsistent, the team is left with a murky long-term outlook up the middle of the defense.
Barmore's first action as a full-time starter is expected to come next season, but if he's able to replicate his success similar to his redshirt freshman season, he'd be the next in line of his predecessors who eventually went on to become first-round selections.

Pro Football Network - Matthew Valdovinos (8/9)
10. Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri
Outside of the quarterback position, I don't see a major need for the Silver and Black. So here I combine a tier-two need with one of the top players on the board. Bolton is a dominant athlete for the linebacker position, and arguably the top coverage linebacker in the nation. Having Bolton play middle linebacker, with 2020 free agency signing Cory Littleton playing the WILL, gives the Raiders arguably the most athletic linebacker duo in the NFL.
The Draft Network - Joe Marino (8/3)
8. Marvin Wilson, IDL, Florida State
Defensive coordinator Paul Guenther enjoyed the contributions of Geno Atkins in Cincinnati and a top talent in that role is currently missing in Las Vegas. Maliek Collins was brought in on a one-year contract and Johnathan Hankins' contract is set to expire after the season. The Raiders have a need to invest at defensive tackle and in this scenario have the opportunity to grab the best one in the draft.
Wilson is a powerful run defender but he also brings an exciting pass-rushing skill set to the table. He has terrific mobility for his size and excellent variety with his rush plan to get home and apply heat on the passer. He should help maximize some of the young talent Las Vegas has on the edge in Maxx Crosby and Clelin Ferrell.
