New York Giants Week 10 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2020 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the New York Giants rank in terms of average, best and worst:

  • Average ranking: 28.2 (28th)
  • Best ranking: 28th (Multiple)
  • Worst ranking: 29th (CBS Sports)

Below you will find a Week 10 roundup for the Giants in our consensus 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

The Athletic -- Rank: 28

They nearly blew a 20-3 lead to Washington but held on thanks to five takeaways. The Giants have an 11.2 percent chance to win the NFC East. A win against the Eagles Sunday would make things interesting.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 29

They are in the thick of the division race. Can you believe that's true? They are playing hard every week with a big game against the Eagles this week.

USA Today -- Rank: 28

If only QB Daniel Jones got to face the Football Team every week. He's 4-0 against Washington ... and 1-16 against the rest of the league.

ESPN -- Rank: 28

Recalibrated expectation: Keep showing improvement

There is no doubt the Giants are better after nine weeks than they were at the start of the season. The Giants need to continue trending in that direction. It would be a good sign for the program and culture Joe Judge is trying to build. That's the goal considering the reality that the Giants don't have enough talent to win games consistently. Not yet at least. -- Jordan Raanan

NFL.com -- Rank: 28

Facing a great hardship at home, Logan Ryan delivered for the Giants on the road in a 23-20 win over Washington. Ryan finished the victory with six tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and two passes defended. The interception came in the final two minutes, clinching a New York win that nearly slipped away despite the Giants building a 20-3 halftime lead. Daniel Jones improved to 4-0 against Washington in his career -- he's 1-16 against all other teams. Speaking of ugly records, the Giants are 2-7, but they'll be just one win out of first place in the NFC East if they can find a way to beat the Eagles on Sunday. True story.
