Ohio State had a pair of wide receivers drafted in the top 11 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft and could have another one next April. Smith-Njigba has only average size and might not run in the 4.3's like either Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave, but he gets open and has an outstanding feel after the catch.
The Giants didn't pick up Daniel Jones' fifth-year option, so if they end up with a top-10 pick next year, he's clearly not the answer. Levis has the talent to rise up the draft board with a strong 2023 campaign.
He has a total of only 77 career dropbacks with the Gators, but he's an electrifying, dual-threat talent, and at 6-foot-4, 235 pounds, he's finally going to get his turn in Gainesville.
Get ready for a much stronger defensive tackle class next season. While I mentioned that Jalen Carter led the Power Five in pass-rushing grade, it was Roy who finished second in that regard (89.6). The kind of pop he has in his hands for a sophomore is special.
OK, here we go. Daniel Jones will have the 2022 season to prove himself and if things don't work out the team will almost certainly be looking for a QB. Levis is tough and can absolutely spin it. A good campaign in the fall will have him in the first-round conversation.
If the Giants meet Vegas' expectations, then things did not go right with Daniel Jones in a make-or-break season. Levis is built like an action figure with terrific mobility and arm talent. Head coach Brian Daboll had a lot of success with a player like that in Buffalo.
If the Giants are drafting in the Top 10 again in 2023, the Daniel Jones experiment would almost certainly be over, but with so little clarity in the class after the two top passers, it's difficult to see four passers at the top of the draft from this far out--though, it's certainly a possibility. Here, instead, the Giants grab an interior defensive line player who is coming off an injury but likely to be one of the top physical testers next spring.
Kelee Ringo is a rangy cornerback with sticky man-coverage skills. He'll give cushion when necessary and is never lost on the back end. Ringo has oily hips and a terrific burst at the catch point. After a dominant 2021 season, Ringo enters the 2022 season as a favorite to win the Jim Thorpe Award.
He hasn't been as consistent as you'd like to see, but I'm betting on a big turnaround season for Uiagealei. The Giants are reportedly not picking up Daniel Jones 5th year option, so they'll firmly be in the Quarterback market next year.
