Cleveland Browns 2019 Fantasy Football Projections

In addition to viewing our 2019 Fantasy Football Projections by position, we will post our preseason projections per team.

Below you will find our 2019 fantasy football projections for the Cleveland Browns.

Baker Mayfield584385.44613.633.5814.0240.3145.11.01311.39
In the final eight games of his rookie season, Mayfield threw 19 touchdowns and averaged 8.57 Y/A. Among quarterbacks with a minimum of 100 pass attempts, the only quarterback that performed better over his team's final eight games was Patrick Mahomes (24 TDs, 8.72 Y/A). Going into 2019, Mayfield benefits from both the status quo (Freddie Kitchens) and changes (trade for Odell Beckham) from his rookie to second season.

Nick Chubb248.21141.78.6923.9179.31.67194.26
A partial-year starter, Chubb ranked third in the NFL in carries (176) and fourth in rushing yards (823) from Weeks 7 to 17. Even though the team signed suspended free-agent Kareem Hunt, Chubb is expected to retain his lead-back role once Hunt is eligible to return. With the addition of Odell Beckham Jr. to the receiving corps, the ascending Cleveland offense should give Chubb plenty of scoring opportunities.
Kareem Hunt68.9320.42.4123.4216.52.1180.81
Leading the NFL in rushing as a rookie in 2017, Hunt will serve an eight-game suspension and is expected to cede the lead-back role to Chubb all season.

Odell Beckham78.71164.89.442.110.90.02174.33
Missing four games last season, Beckham hauled in 77 receptions for 1,052 yards and six scores. Even though OBJ has missed 21 games over his five-year career, he ranks third in receiving touchdowns (44) over that span behind Antonio Brown (59) and DeAndre Hopkins (45). In a better offense with a better quarterback, Beckham is always a threat for the league lead in touchdowns.
Jarvis Landry72.9823.
With the addition of his former LSU teammate, it's unlikely that Landry gets the 149 targets he had in 2018. Parlaying those touches into 81 catches for 876 yards and four touchdowns, Landry finished as fantasy's WR22 (PPR's WR18) in his first season in Cleveland. Before that, he was the WR14 (2017, WR5 in PPR), WR16 (2016, WR13 in PPR) and WR15 (2015, WR9 in PPR), respectively.

David Njoku54.3640.74.8900093.41
Njoku won't turn 23 until July 10th and the third-year tight end is coming off a top-10 finish in 2018. The offense should continue to blossom as Baker Mayfield enters his second season, the athletic tight end moves down a notch in the targets pecking order with the offseason addition of Odell Beckham Jr.
