Our 2025 fantasy football projections below are for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Aaron Rodgers: Rodgers was QB19 on a per-game basis in 2024 with Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams (for 11 games). Yes, the Steelers traded for Jonnu Smith, but the receiving corps is a downgrade from what he had last year and it will be interesting to see how he and DK Metcalf mesh. While the four-time NFL Most Valuable Player will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there's zero reason to draft Rodgers in standard (single-QB) leagues.

Bryce Young: Young was benched after a terrible start through the first two weeks last season (only 225 passing yards, 4.01 Y/A, no touchdowns and three interceptions). He didn't start again until Week 8, but he played much better, especially over the final three games (64.8%, 7.0 Y/A, seven touchdowns and no interceptions). After Carolina's Week 11 bye, Young was the QB8 in fantasy PPG (21.2) through the end of the season.

2025 Fantasy Football Mock Drafts

The best way to become good at something is to practice. So, what should you do if you want to draft a better fantasy football team?

Practice, of course!

Leading up to the start of the 2025 NFL season, we will use the fantasy football mock draft simulator to complete fantasy football mock drafts. And we will do so using a variety of scoring formats — point per reception (PPR), half-PPR, standard scoring and even 2-QB leagues — and league sizes. The goal is to provide you with a good representation of the team that you may be able to draft given your league settings while also providing the rationale of why we made the picks we did.

That said, nothing beats practicing yourself so (check out the simulator) and complete a mock in a matter of minutes.

2025 Fantasy Football Mock Draft: 12-Team Half-PPR Mock (11th Pick)

Starting positions: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DST; Bench spots: 6

1.11 - Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans

Collins has missed seven games over the past two seasons, but the now 26-year-old receiver has averaged 85.3 YPG (fifth best), 15.6 Y/R (eighth) and scored a total of 15 touchdowns (tied, 10th) over that span (among wide receivers with at least 100 targets). He has finished among the top three wide receivers in PFF's Y/RR metric in each of the past two seasons — 3.11 (second) in 2023 and 2.87 (third) in 2024, respectively. If Collins can stay healthy for a full season, the emerging superstar could truly make a jump into the top tier of fantasy receivers in 2025.

2.02 - Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Among the top 10 receivers in fantasy points per game, seven of them missed multiple games in 2024. While Thomas was 11th on a per-game basis, he played a full season and finished fourth in fantasy points. As injuries sidelined Jacksonville's other top 2024 pass catchers (Evan Engram and Christian Kirk), Thomas stepped up down the stretch with all six of his double-digit target games occuring in the final six weeks of the season. During that span, he had the second-most targets (70) behind only Ja'Marr Chase (75) and ranked top five in catches (45), yards (593) and touchdowns (five). While Engram and Kirk are no longer in Jacksonville, the Jags upgraded their No. 2 receiver opposite Thomas by trading up to draft Travis Hunter, last year's Heisman Trophy and Biletnikoff Award winner (among many other awards). Hunter's presence may cut slightly into his target domination, but secondaries will have to give Hunter more defensive attention than they would have to their pre-draft No. 2 wideout(s).

3.11 - Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams

Adams, who was traded midseason from the Raiders to the Jets, still managed to extend his streak of 1,000-yard, eight-TD seasons to five. Even though he turns 33 on Christmas Eve and won't dominate targets the way he had at previous stops, he should have (or come close to having) another 1,000/8 season.

4.02 - Omarion Hampton, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Perhaps his outlook is even rosier in dynasty leagues than redraft given the presence of Najee Harris, but Hampton should emerge as the team's lead back by season's end. Harris's "superficial eye injury" will almost certainly accelerate that shift. Currently, there is no update on when Harris will return although he's walking laps around the field as "part of his rehab process."

2025 Fantasy Football Mock Draft: 12-Team PPR Mock (9th Pick)

1.09 - Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions

St. Brown has been a model of consistency — year in and year out, week in and week out. ARSB has 90-plus catches in all four seasons, 1,161-plus yards in the past three seasons, and double-digit touchdowns in back-to-back seasons. He had five-plus catches in 14 of 17 games last season and his other games were four, three and two catches. Only Ja'Marr Chase (15) had more such games in 2024, and he's tied with Davante Adams for the most five-catch games (49) since 2021, per Stathead.

2.04 - Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

3.09 - Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Evans, who will turn 32 in August, extended his remarkable streak of 1,000-yard seasons to 11 (albeit just barely: 1,004 yards) in 2024. While he missed three games last season, Evans remains one of the most dominant red-zone weapons in the league — 24 receiving touchdowns over the past two seasons and double-digit scores in four of the past five years.

4.04 - Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Walker has missed multiple games in each of his three NFL seasons including six missed games last year. While he averaged only 3.7 yards per carry and 4.4 yards per touch, both career lows, his PFF elusive rating (113.5) was a career high and the third most among all running backs with at least 100 carries in 2024. Walker should benefit from the new coaching staff's heavy use of outside zone and there is plenty of upside if his health cooperates.

Jared Goff: The Lions finished top five in the NFL in both scoring and total offense in 2022, and Goff was much better in his second season with the Lions than he was in his first. Throwing for 4,438 yards, 29 touchdowns and only seven interceptions, Goff finished as fantasy's QB10. Perhaps he'll push for a second consecutive top-12 campaign and he benefits from playing behind one of the league's better offensive lines and with a talented group of pass catchers, but he's better drafted as a QB2.

Jahmyr Gibbs: It's a new-look backfield for the Lions — D'Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams are out, and Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery are in. Detroit's backfield ranked third in touches last season, and they were top 10 in RB targets. Gibbs lacks ideal size to be a workhorse back, but he will quickly develop into one of the league's best receiving backs and he has game-breaking speed (4.36 40-yard dash). It's possible, maybe likely, that Montgomery leads the backfied in carries while Gibbs leads it in fantasy points scored.

David Montgomery: The Lions had two backs finish as top-24 performers in 2022 — Williams (RB8) and Swift (RB22) — and no team's running backs scored more fantasy points than Detroit's. In other words, it's possible that the duo of Gibbs and Montgomery both perform as RB2-type backs (or better) in 2023. Montgomery has averaged only 3.94 YPC through four seasons, but he will have the opportunity to run behind a much better offensive line in Detroit than he had in Chicago. In addition, he is a capable receiver as well with a minimum of 25 receptions each year and a total of 155 through four seasons.

Amon-Ra St. Brown: Extremely productive through his first two seasons, St. Brown set career highs in 2022 with 106 receptions, 1,161 yards and six touchdowns. Given Jameson Williams' six-game suspension to start the season, St. Brown should continue to see massive target shares. Only six receivers had more red-zone targets than St. Brown (21) in 2022.

Jameson Williams: Williams made his NFL debut in Week 13, and he played only 78 offensive snaps in the team's final six games in 2022. While he had an 11.1% catch rate (one catch on nine targets), he had one 41-yard touchdown reception and one 40-yard run on his two NFL touches in 2022. He's a big play waiting to happen, but a gambling suspension will keep him off the field through the first six games. In addition, a hamstring injury sidelined him througout this preseason.

Sam LaPorta: The typical learning curve for tight ends transitioning to the NFL is steep, but it wouldn't surprise me if we're talking about LaPorta as one of the top 6-8 fantasy tight ends this time next year. Then again, as The Athletic's Colton Pouncy writes, LaPorta "has shown the ability to make catches in traffic, provide yards after the catch and find ways to get open. LaPorta might already be Goff's second-favorite target behind Amon-Ra St. Brown."

Jared Goff: The Lions finished top five in the NFL in both scoring and total offense in 2022, and Goff was much better in his second season with the Lions than he was in his first. Sam LaPorta: Other than the typical learning curve for tight ends transitioning to the NFL, there is a lot to like about LaPorta. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if we're talking about him as one of the top 6-8 fantasy tight ends this time next year, but the question remains how quickly he'll move into the top-12 mix as a rookie.

Jared Goff: Goff isn't much more than a back-end QB2 in two-QB or Super Flex formats, but he has a better offensive supporting cast around him this year when everyone is healthy. Not only did the Lions sign D.J. Chark to a one-year deal in free agency, but they traded up to draft this year's biggest home run threat (Jameson Williams) as well.

D'Andre Swift: Swift has played exactly 13 games in each of his first two seasons, but he offers plenty of upside if he can stay healthy given his versatile skill set. Despite missing four games in 2021, Swift had 62 catches for 452 yards and two touchdowns in addition to a 151/617/5 rushing line. Swift was 12th in half-PPR fantasy points per game in 2021.

Jamaal Williams: Like Swift, Williams missed four games in 2021 but set a career high in rushing yards (601) and tied a career high in rush attempts (153). While his targets per game (2.15) was near a career low, he set a career high in catch rate (92.9%) and finished with 2.0 receptions per game, his career average.

Amon-Ra St. Brown: St. Brown was highly productive as a fourth-round rookie, as the former USC Trojan finished 2021 with 90 catches (T-15th) for 912 yards (30th) and five touchdowns on 119 targets (26th). With the Lions dealing with injuries to other pass catchers down the stretch, St. Brown converted 67 targets into 51 receptions for 560 yards and scored all five of his touchdowns over the final six games of the season. Only Cooper Kupp scored more fantasy points than St. Brown over that span.

D.J. Chark: Signing a one-year deal to play for the Lions, Chark missed nearly all of the 2021 season, but the former Jag has a 1,000-yard season (73/1,008/8 in 2019) under his belt. He's developed good chemistry with Jared Goff leading into the season.

Jameson Williams: If it weren't for a torn ACL at the end of the season, Williams could have possibly been the first receiver off the board in the 2022 NFL Draft. With his elite speed and quickness, Williams is a threat to take it to the house any time he touches the ball. Williams begins the season on the reserve/NFI list, which means he'll miss a minimum of four games, but his rehab is going well and "could accelerate" his return from what was initially expected.

T.J. Hockenson: Hockenson missed five games last season, but he set per-game career highs in receptions (5.1) and yards (48.6) as well as catch rate (72.6%). Given the additions to the receiving corps (D.J. Chark and Jameson Williams), Jared Goff won't need to rely as heavily on Hockenson this year.

D'Andre Swift: Swift was much more involved in the second half of the season as he finished his rookie campaign with 114/521/8 (4.6 YPC) rushing and 46/357/2 (7.8 Y/R) receiving. Swift had three-plus catches in 12 of 13 games. While I have him ranked as a mid-tier RB2, his ability as a receiver gives him the upside to crack the top-10 fantasy running backs in 2021, especially in full PPR formats.

Jamaal Williams: In his four NFL seasons, Williams has averaged 736.5 scrimmage yards, 155.5 touches and 30.5 receptions per season with the Packers. While he remains his team's RB2 (to D'Andre Swift instead of Aaron Jones), Williams should get 8-10 touches per game even with both Swift and Williams healthy.

Perriman has missed multiple games in every season other than his rookie campaign (2016). The former first-rounder continues his tour around the league.

Jared Goff: Traded to Detroit, Goff joins a less potent offense that will be more run-based in philosophy. The former first-round pick will play for his fifth team in as many seasons, but he's as good of a bet as any of the team's other wide receivers to lead the position group in target share. Washington Football Team 2021 NFL Mock Draft Roundup, 4.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Washington Football Team Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Washington Football Team from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for Washington:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson (1/15)

19. Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech

Darrisaw, a three-year starter, has continued to improve each season. His athleticism and length will allow him to handle NFL-caliber edge rushers and he's been dominant as a run blocker as well.

San Diego Union Tribune - Eddie Brown (1/13)

19. Kyle Trask, QB, Florida

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Taylor Heinicke isn't the quarterback of the future here. Trask has legit pocket presence and a surprising touch for such a strong arm. He had a horrible Cotton Bowl against Oklahoma, but that doesn't erase a Heisman-worthy season (he finished fourth). He had 43 touchdown passes (first in the nation) against only eight interceptions, 4,283 passing yards (second in the nation) and a QBR of 88.3 (sixth in the nation).

CBS Sports - Chris Trapasso (1/13)

19. Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC

The Washington Football Team will see a lot of Terry McLaurin in St. Brown. They'll formulate a fun duo that can routinely get open. I think Washington goes the free-agent or trade route at quarterback.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler (1/12)

19. Alijah Vera-Tucker, IOL, USC

Although Cornelius Lucas played above expectations this season, left tackle is a position Washington will consider upgrading. Vera-Tucker was graded as a second-round guard before the season, but he moved to left tackle and played at a high level, boosting his draft grade.

The Draft Network - Joe Marino (1/7)

19. Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan

Mayfield is a toolsy blocker that brings an exciting blend of length, size, movement skills, and power to the table. Washington never truly replaced Trent Williams and is in need of an answer at tackle. While the offense is in need of weapons, football games are still won up front, so taking this chance to improve the trenches makes sense.

ESPN - Todd McShay (1/7)

19. Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State

Here we are again, two years after Washington selected Dwayne Haskins in the first round. It didn't work out. And while Alex Smith has completed an inspiring comeback and led Washington to the playoffs, he isn't the future of this team. Smith averaged just 5 air yards per attempt this season. Coach Ron Rivera needs to be thinking about the direction he wants to take his roster, and Lance would give him a QB to develop. The third-year sophomore had a one-game season in 2020, and he never saw an FBS opponent in his career. But he has strong downfield touch and can tuck and run, and he went the entire 2019 season without an interception.

USA Today - Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz (1/5)

19. Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech

Should Ron Rivera look to stay the course with Alex Smith at quarterback, the most reasonable route for Washington to buoy its offense might be bringing on a stalwart tackle.

Athlon Sports - Bryan Fisher (1/5)

19. Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

Don't be shocked if the WFT aims to move up a few spots to secure OL help but if they stick here, they could still have their pick among top wideouts. Bateman's sure hands and size would turn him into a fantastic running mate to Terry McLaurin.
