Fantasy Football RB Strength of Schedule: Weeks 13-16

When it comes to picking up or trading for players, one factor to consider is the player's fantasy football strength of schedule.

A player's fantasy strength of schedule is far from the most important aspect of his outlook. But if you're debating a pair of players and they are otherwise comparable in your view, a more favorable fantasy schedule could at least break the tie.

Kansas City Chiefs Week 13 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2020 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Kansas City Chiefs rank in terms of average, best and worst:

  • Average ranking: 1.6 (2nd)
  • Best ranking: 1st (Multiple)
  • Worst ranking: 2nd (Multiple)

Below you will find a Week 13 roundup for the Chiefs in our consensus 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

The Athletic -- Rank: 1

Exceeding expectations: If aliens landed on earth, watched the Chiefs' offense play a game of football and then watched most other NFL offenses, they would think they were witnessing two different sports. We know what we're getting with Andy Reid at this point: creative play calls, pass-heavy game plans and either a cheeseburger or sweet and sour pork reference during his post-game press conferences. Reid continues to be ahead of the curve with his offensive philosophy and has done a tremendous job of maximizing the wealth of talent at his disposal. Some of the game management issues that plagued him earlier in his career could surface at any time, but for the most part, Patrick Mahomes' smarts and command have alleviated those. Reid has been great for a long time, but at 62 years old, he is likely just now experiencing the most fruitful stretch of his career.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 2

They continue to roll up big numbers on offense. Can they be stopped? It sure doesn't look like it.

USA Today -- Rank: 2

Meanwhile, Kansas City has a very legitimate shot at a rare 15-1 record ... which may not be enough to get champs a first-round bye.

ESPN -- Rank: 2

Most important game remaining: Week 15 at New Orleans

If the Chiefs are to catch the Steelers for the AFC's No. 1 playoff seed, they might have to win out. Four of their five remaining opponents aren't on their level, and then there's New Orleans. So the Saints could be the team standing between the Chiefs and a first-round playoff bye. Normally, this would be one of the least important games of the Chiefs' remaining schedule because the Saints play in the NFC, but this is not a normal season. -- Adam Teicher

NFL.com -- Rank: 1

We might be reaching the point where the NFL has to split up Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill. The pairing is simply too unfair for opponents. Just ask the Buccaneers, a very capable defense that was embarrassed by the Terror Twins in a 27-24 Kansas City victory. Hill boasted over 200 yards receiving by the end of the first quarter and finished his day with 13 catches for 269 yards and three touchdowns on 15 targets. Mahomes accounted for nearly 500 yards of offense and iced the game with a clinical clock-killing drive after the Bucs had closed within a field goal with less than five minutes to play. Mahomes is rightly praised for his next level arm talent, but he's also an expert scrambler with untouchable football IQ. He is the perfect quarterback.

Week 13 Fantasy Football QB Start'em, Sit'em

The decision on which player to start, or sit, largely comes down to the options on your roster (and/or possibly the players available on your league's waiver wire).

As an example, Kirk Cousins is listed below as a "start" for Week 13. And I'd certainly be comfortable going into Week 13 with him as my starting quarterback.

Then again, Cousins may be a "sit" for your team.

In other words, if you own both Patrick Mahomes and Cousins, you should start Mahomes and, in turn, bench Cousins.

For a more direct answer on whether we would start Player X over Player Y, check our Week 13 Fantasy Football Rankings. Instead of making those direct comparisons, the goal here is to highlight players that we like, or dislike, for the week.

Week 13 Fantasy Football QB Start'em

Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings (vs. JAX)

Topping our Week 13 quarterback waiver-wire rankings and available in 60 percent of Yahoo! leagues to begin the week, Cousins may be a plug-and-play option if Tom Brady (on bye this week) is your starter or you normally stream the position. Being double-digit favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars could lead to game script that delivers a body blow to Cousins' recent string of higher-than-usual volume of pass attempts.

Over the past three weeks, Cousins has thrown 36, 30 and 45 pass attempts, respectively, and that's his only three-game streak with 30-plus pass attempts this season. In fact, he has reached 30 attempts in only two of his other eight games this season.

Scoring 20-plus fantasy points in three of his past four games, Cousins has thrown 11 touchdowns and only one interception during that stretch. Cousins has finished as a top-five fantasy quarterback in back-to-back weeks and a top-12 option in three straight.

As massive favorites in a game with a total north of 50 points, the Vikings have the second-highest implied total of the week. And even if there aren't as many pass attempts as fantasy managers would like from Cousins, the efficiency should be there as the Jags have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. NE)

While he didn't have his best performance against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Herbert still scored 17.44 fantasy points (QB14) and threw for 316 yards. Before the streak ended in Week 12, Herbert had seven consecutive top-12 performances.

Only four quarterbacks -- Kyler Murray (10), Aaron Rodgers (nine), Patrick Mahomes (eight) and Russell Wilson (eight) -- have more QB1 performances this season than Herbert (seven), who is tied with Deshaun Watson and Brady for fifth-most.

A late Hail Mary allowed Herbert to reach the 300-yard weekly milestone and the rookie now has thrown for 300-plus yards and/or multiple touchdowns in all 10 of his NFL games. Only two other quarterbacks (Mahomes and Rodgers) have 10 such games this season.

Even though the Week 13 matchup is a challenging one for any quarterback, especially a rookie, Herbert remains an every-week must-start for fantasy managers.

Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans (vs. CLE)

The Titans are a run-first team. (And a run-second team.) Making a strong case for MVP, at least more so than any quarterback, Derrick Henry rushed 27 times for 178 yards and three touchdowns last week and he had 28/133/1 rushing the week before.

Force-feeding Henry has the potential to limit Tannehill's production, but last year's NFL Comeback Player of the Year has finished as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in back-to-back weeks and Tannehill is a top-10 fantasy quarterback year-to-date.

With the week's third-highest implied total, there may be enough to go around for both Henry and Tannehill to feast in Week 13. In addition, the Cleveland Browns are a top-10 fantasy matchup for opposing quarterbacks.

Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (at ATL)

We are about to witness Hill's third (and final?) act as a starting quarterback in Week 13. Through two NFL starts (and a career), Hill has yet to throw a touchdown and he completed just nine-of-16 for 78 yards against the Denver Broncos last week.

Even so, he's listed as a start here.

In his two starts combined, which includes a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11, Hill has 20 carries for 93 yards and FOUR touchdowns. Because of his rushing production, he has scored 24.22 (QB4) and 18.52 (QB11) fantasy points in the last two weeks, respectively.

Last week was an anomaly with the entire Denver Broncos quarterback room on the COVID-19/reserve list. Only favored by three points this week, Hill and the Saints will likely have to throw more than 16 times in Week 13.

Week 13 Fantasy Football QB Sit'em

Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles (at GB)

If you just look at Monday's numbers, Wentz had a good fantasy performance. It was his sixth game in the past seven with multiple passing scores and he ended the week as a top-10 fantasy quarterback. And while all plays count regardless of when in the game they occur, it took a 33-yard touchdown to Richard Rodgers (on a deflection) with 12 seconds to go for Wentz to score 5.32 (26.9%) of his 19.8 fantasy points.

Throwing for only 30 yards in the first half, Wentz finished Monday's game with 215. Keep in mind this was in a matchup against the league's most generous fantasy defense to opposing quarterbacks, although they had been playing better recently. Wentz now has 235 passing yards or less in each of his past four games. On the season, no quarterback has thrown more interceptions (15) or been sacked (46) as much as Wentz.

Starting Wentz this week will be somewhat of a Hail Mary move for fantasy owners. The Green Bay Packers allow the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. In addition, the Eagles have one of the week's lowest implied totals.

Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions (at CHI)

It's been an up-and-(mostly)-down season for Stafford. Through 11 games this season, Stafford has reached the 20-point fantasy mark only three times. As a comparison, Stafford did that in five of the eight games he played in 2019.

To be fair to Stafford, he's dealt with an injury-plagued receiving corps as the team's top receiver Kenny Golladay has managed to play in only five games this season. Two of his 20-point performances were in games that Golladay played.

At least to start the week, Golladay (hip) has been sidelined at practice. In a difficult matchup against the Chicago Bears, who have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, Stafford is worth keeping on your bench.

Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons (vs. NO)

At this point, it's unclear if Julio Jones (hamstring) will return this week. With Jones sustaining the injury against the New Orleans Saints a couple of weeks ago, Ryan completed 19-of-37 for 232 yards, no touchdowns and a pair of interceptions. While the Falcons may not have Jones, the Saints will have top corner Marshon Lattimore, who missed their matchup in Week 11.

In his past three games against the Saints, Ryan has thrown more interceptions (five) than touchdowns (four) and has averaged just 242 yards per game and 5.95 yards per attempt. That said, it's not just the Falcons that struggle against the Saints, who have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.

Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams (at ARI)

Goff ended a three-game 300-yard streak in Week 12 with only 198 passing yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Goff has now thrown multiple interceptions in three of his past four games. Outside of his three-touchdown performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he has only one passing score in the other three games combined in the month of November. The Arizona Cardinals don't provide the most difficult matchup, but they have allowed the sixth-lowest passing yards per attempt (6.83) this season.

Las Vegas Raiders Week 13 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2020 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Las Vegas Raiders rank in terms of average, best and worst:

  • Average ranking: 14.8 (15th)
  • Best ranking: 11th (NFL.com)
  • Worst ranking: 18th (USA Today)

Below you will find a Week 13 roundup for the Raiders in our consensus 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

The Athletic -- Rank: 17

Meeting expectations: You could make the case that Jon Gruden is exceeding expectations, but at the end of the day the Raiders are 6-5 with a minus-27 point differential. Aside from last week's clunker, Gruden has done an excellent job as a play-caller and offensive schemer. He'd benefit from being more aggressive with his in-game decisions, given how much better the Raiders' offense is than its defense. If the Raiders can avoid a repeat of last year's final stretch and sneak into the postseason, Gruden will deserve a ton of credit. But failing to make the playoffs will have to be considered a disappointment.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 13

What happened in Atlanta? Derek Carr and the offense both struggled in a big way. They can't afford to lose games like that.

USA Today -- Rank: 18

Natural to assume Sunday brings a get-right game against Jets, but Silver and Black haven't beaten Gang Green on road since 1996.

ESPN -- Rank: 15

Most important game remaining: Week 13 at N.Y. Jets

Um, it's this week! After Sunday's unmitigated disaster in Atlanta -- a 43-6 blowout loss to a three-win Falcons team -- the Raiders fell to 6-5 and head east again to face the winless Jets, who upended them last year with a 34-3 beatdown. Lose at MetLife to a sorry Jets team again and the Raiders' season, for all intents and purposes, is over. Handle business, and Las Vegas remains in the playoff hunt. No pressure, right? -- Paul Gutierrez

NFL.com -- Rank: 11

The Raiders changed the way a lot of people looked at them on Sunday -- unfortunately, not in a good way. Jon Gruden's team was humbled and embarrassed in a 43-6 loss to the Falcons, delivering an effort that summoned memories of last season's December collapse. This was a nightmare performance for Derek Carr, who lost three fumbles on sacks and threw a pick-six. Josh Jacobs looked slow and tentative on an injured hip before leaving the game with a sprained ankle. (Jacobs, fittingly, lost a fumble on the play he went down.) Vegas was also undisciplined, committing a season-high 11 penalties for 141 yards. It was a disaster from pretty much every angle, bad enough that even a Week 13 matchup against the winless Jets brings some level of doubt.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 13 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2020 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rank in terms of average, best and worst:

  • Average ranking: 9.0 (9th)
  • Best ranking: 8th (Multiple)
  • Worst ranking: 11th (CBS Sports)

Below you will find a Week 13 roundup for the Bucs in our consensus 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

The Athletic -- Rank: 8

Meeting expectations: It feels like the Tom Brady experiment with Bruce Arians is being viewed to some degree as a disaster or a lost cause. That seems like a case of recency bias. The Buccaneers are 7-5, and their plus-64 point differential is third-best in the NFC. Tony Romo mentioned during Sunday's broadcast that Tampa could still make a Super Bowl run, and I agree with him. They are still trying to find their way in terms of meshing what Arians and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich want to do with what makes Brady comfortable. Arians struggles with game management, and at times his team lacks discipline. But the Bucs still have time to figure things out and make a playoff run.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 11

They head to their bye off two straight losses. It's amazing how their season has turned so quickly.

USA Today -- Rank: 9

Week 13 bye probably right on time for reeling team that must refresh and recalibrate now that NFC South crown is virtually out of reach.

ESPN -- Rank: 8

Most important game remaining: Week 14 vs. Minnesota

At 7-5 after back-to-back losses to the Rams and Chiefs, the Bucs are drifting further from contender status and closer to pretender, which means they need to come out of the bye week with a statement win. Every game will matter, but they need a tone-setter. Coach Bruce Arians said they'll spend this time going over everything, which should include adjustments in philosophy and playcalling. The offense has been stagnant much of the time. There has been no play-action or motion and Tom Brady's deep ball has been far too inconsistent. Further, they need to finally establish an offensive identity, as changing it week to week isn't helping with consistency. -- Jenna Laine

NFL.com -- Rank: 9

Poor Carlton Davis. Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles had so much faith in his young corner that he cooked up a game plan that left Davis one-on-one with Tyreek Hill. It did not work out. Davis was torched on a historic level, as Hill had surpassed 200 yards receiving with two touchdowns by the end of the first quarter. The Bucs mounted an admirable fourth-quarter comeback, but the 27-24 loss showed a considerable gap between Tampa Bay and the defending Super Bowl champions. Back-to-back losses to the Rams and Chiefs make you wonder where the Bucs truly stand amongst the league's elite teams, but a favorable schedule keeps a path to the postseason open. After the bye, Tampa Bay faces four sub-.500 opponents with a combined record of 17-27.

Green Bay Packers Week 13 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2020 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Green Bay Packers rank in terms of average, best and worst:

  • Average ranking: 3.8 (4th)
  • Best ranking: 3rd (The Athletic)
  • Worst ranking: 4th (Multiple)

Below you will find a Week 13 roundup for the Packers in our consensus 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

The Athletic -- Rank: 3

Exceeding expectations: The Packers are 21-6 under Matt LaFleur. Aaron Rodgers is supremely talented, but it's unlikely that anyone would describe him as easy to coach. This year could have gone sideways for Green Bay after the Packers traded up for Jordan Love in the first round. Instead, the Packers rank second in offensive efficiency, and LaFleur has helped get an MVP-caliber performance out of Rodgers at the age of 37. There are other areas where LaFleur deserves credit: One, his game scripts have been fantastic. The Packers lead the NFL in Expected Points Added (EPA) on opening possessions, according to TruMedia. And two, LaFleur has taken over as the league's most aggressive fourth-down decision-maker. His game management has been strong, and he's willing to take smart risks to keep his offense on the field and be aggressive.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 4

They are explosive on offense, even lighting up a good Bears defense Sunday night. The defense is also playing better, which is a must.

USA Today -- Rank: 4

Still great shot at home-field advantage given only one opponent with a winning record left on their schedule and win over New Orleans in hand.

ESPN -- Rank: 4

Most important game remaining: Week 16 vs. Tennessee

The Packers should have the NFC North wrapped up by then and when it comes to playoff seeding, a game against an AFC foe probably won't impact tiebreakers. So why is it so important? Because it will be the Packers' only chance to prove they can beat a top-tier opponent heading into the playoffs. After their blowout loss at Tampa Bay and their OT loss at the Colts, they could use a win over a legitimate Super Bowl contender to erase any doubts about whether they're legit themselves. -- Rob Demovsky

NFL.com -- Rank: 4

Aaron Rodgers just has the look of a guy who badly wants to win MVP, doesn't he? What better way to put an exclamation point on this glorious revenge season than by taking home the league's most coveted award for a third time? Rodgers was dominant against the Bears on Sunday night, completing 21 of 29 passes for 211 yards and four touchdowns without a turnover. Forever a player of supreme confidence, Rodgers exuded swagger with each money throw against the Bears. Three of his scoring strikes came off play-action, which baffled Chicago's defense into submission. By the second half, Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams were running through arm tackles by a Bears defense that looked ready to get on the team bus. The Packers trail the Saints by one game in the race for the NFC's No. 1 seed, but have the head-to-head tiebreaker in hand. Buckle up.

Dallas Cowboys Week 13 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2020 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Dallas Cowboys rank in terms of average, best and worst:

  • Average ranking: 28.2 (T-28th)
  • Best ranking: 26th (NFL.com)
  • Worst ranking: 29th (Multiple)

Below you will find a Week 13 roundup for the Cowboys in our consensus 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

The Athletic -- Rank: 28

Below expectations: If I would have told Cowboys fans in August that the highlight of their season was going to be Mike McCarthy smashing watermelons during a team meeting before a Week 11 win over the Vikings that got them to 3-7, well, I think it's safe to say they would have been disappointed. From the 1-3 start with Dak Prescott to the Ben DiNucci game to the ill-conceived fake punt on Thanksgiving, the first year of the McCarthy era has been mostly a disaster. Dallas' offseason could include a top-five draft pick and another decision on Prescott's future. Let's see how McCarthy makes out in 2021.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 29

That Thanksgiving Day performance against the Washington Football Team was awful. There were a bunch of questionable coaching decisions as well.

USA Today -- Rank: 29

Aside from recuperating QB Dak Prescott, All-Pro OL Zack Martin was arguably the player Dallas could least afford to lose as it tries to remain playoff-viable.

ESPN -- Rank: 29

Most important game remaining: Week 17 at N.Y. Giants

It's not because there will be a chance for the Cowboys to win the NFC East against the Giants. It's not because they can extend their seven-game winning streak against New York. No, it's the most important game because that will mark the end of one the franchise's most disappointing seasons and allow it to turn its attention to 2021. From injuries to poor play to questionable coaching decisions, this season has been one to forget. The quicker it's over for the Cowboys, the better. And they can turn their attention to a probable top-five pick in the upcoming draft. -- Todd Archer

NFL.com -- Rank: 26

Last week on the Around the NFL Podcast, I offered up a breakdown on the job-security level of each head coach entering the final stretch of the regular season. Mike McCarthy was in my "50/50" category -- I believed there was a coin-flip chance he'd be one-and-done in Dallas. That scenario might have ticked up to 60/40 after a grim Thanksgiving performance that included a wild fake-punt gambit that could've sunk the season. Sure, the loss of both starting tackles in one drive was another reminder of Dallas' brutal injury luck this season, but that can't totally absolve McCarthy. Jerry Jones is 78 and he sees other teams -- most recently, the Lions -- taking aggressive steps to improve their team on the sideline. Will he still feel McCarthy is the right guy if the Cowboys finish this absurd season in the NFC East basement?

Week 13 Fantasy Football TE Waiver Wire Rankings

Every week, we examine players that may be available on your league's waiver wire that could help your team in the short and/or long term.

For a player to be listed, he must be owned in 50 percent (or less) of Yahoo! leagues. The goal is to provide recommendations of players that have a greater chance of being available on your league's waiver wire. Of course, your league's size and settings could significantly impact whether these players (or better options) are available in your particular league(s).

With that said, here are some tight end waiver-wire options to consider heading into Week 13 (Yahoo! % rostered in parenthesis):

[Note: Players listed below are sorted by our preference to add.]

1. Logan Thomas, Washington Football Team (41%)

Against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving, Thomas did a little bit of everything. The former Virginia Tech collegiate quarterback completed a 28-yard pass, had a three-yard rush attempt and caught all four of his targets for 20 yards and a touchdown. With one game to go (on Wednesday afternoon!), Thomas currently sits at TE8 on the week.

Over his past six games, Thomas has finished as a top-10 fantasy tight end four times.

In 11 games this season, Thomas has a minimum of four targets in all 11 games. While four targets may not seem like a lot and may be an arbitrary threhold, there are only three tight ends that have four targets in 11 games this season -- T.J. Hockenson, Darren Waller and Thomas. Only two more -- Travis Kelce and Dalton Schultz -- have at least 10 such games.

One near-term challenge for Thomas will be that Washington's next two opponents are the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers. So far this season, they are the two stingiest defenses to fantasy tight ends.

2. Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings (15%)

With Irv Smith and Adam Thielen sidelined, Rudolph set season highs with seven catches, 68 yards on eight targets against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. If Smith remains sidelined another week, that will put Rudolph on the TE1/TE2 border once again.

The Vikings have a favorable matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13. Through Sunday's games, only the Seattle Seahawks (14.74) have allowed more yards per reception to tight ends than the Jaguars (13.2), who have surrendered the most touchdowns (nine, tied with NYJ) and TD% (20.0%) to the position this season.

3. Trey Burton, Indianapolis Colts (19%)

Even though Burton currently ranks 20th in fantasy points scored this season, the Colts like to target their tight ends and Burton's been more involved and productive lately. On a per-team basis, Colts tight ends rank sixth in fantasy points scored (half-PPR scoring) and top 10 across the board in receptions (57, T-9th), yards (655, 8th) and touchdowns (eight, T-3rd).

Burton had three catches for 42 yards and a touchdown on six targets against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Burton's six targets tied his season high and he's now scored in back-to-back weeks.

Week 13 Fantasy Football WR Waiver Wire Rankings

Every week, we examine players that may be available on your league's waiver wire that could help your team in the short and/or long term.

For a player to be listed, he must be owned in 50 percent (or less) of Yahoo! leagues. The goal is to provide recommendations of players that have a greater chance of being available on your league's waiver wire. Of course, your league's size and settings could significantly impact whether these players (or better options) are available in your particular league(s).

Based on our self-imposed restrictions, a player like San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel (rostered in 56% of Yahoo! leagues) is excluded from our list. In his first game back from injury, Samuel had 11 catches for 133 yards on 13 targets, all of which were team highs. If available in your league(s), he would top the (official) list below.

With that said, here are some wide receiver waiver-wire options to consider heading into Week 13 (Yahoo! % rostered in parenthesis):

[Note: Players listed below are sorted by our preference to add.]

1. Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers (39%)

More involved in his second game back from injury than last week, Lazard had four catches for 23 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 12. There will be some week-to-week volatility beyond Davante Adams for who's next in line for targets, but Aaron Rodgers has been playing at an MVP level and the Packers lead the NFL in passing touchdowns (33, 3.00 per game).

As the team's No. 2 receiver, Lazard will be in the weekly WR3/flex range the rest of the way.

2. Breshad Perriman, New York Jets (12%)

Perriman either led or tied for the team lead in receptions (four), targets (eight) and yards (79) in Sam Darnold's first game back from injury. Since Week 6, Perriman has more than 50 yards in four of five games and has a total of 17/323/3 on 29 targets over that stretch.

Outside of a difficult Week 15 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, Perriman and the Jets get three favorable remaining matchups through Week 16. And there's a strong chance that the Jets will be chasing points in all of their remaining games.

3. Denzel Mims, New York Jets (7%)

While I would prefer Perriman over Mims (see above), Mims is worth a look as well. Of course, both have the same set of favorable matchups and the likely game script that keeps the passing volume flowing.

Like Perriman, Mims has been productive lately as the rookie receiver has three consecutive games with more than 60 yards -- 62, 71 and 67, respectively. In addition, he has a minimum of seven targets in three consecutive games and four of his past five.

4. Keke Coutee, Houston Texans (1%)

Coming off a huge game (6/171/2 on seven targets) against the Detroit Lions and his fifth 100-yard game of the season, we've seen the last of Will Fuller in a Texans uniform this season (and possibly for good as he becomes a free agent in March). Fuller announced on IG that he was suspended for six games for a PED (via Aaron Reiss).

While Brandin Cooks will see as many targets as he can handle, Coutee will see his target share and snap percentage get a significant bump even though he has yet to finish any game with more than two catches, 17 yards or four targets. The team had placed Randall Cobb on IR and Kenny Stills was released.

5. Nelson Agholor, Las Vegas Raiders (43%)

In what was expected to be a smash spot for Derek Carr and all of the team's pass-catchers against the Atlanta Falcons turned out to be a major disappointment. Even so, Agholor finished with five catches for 54 yards on six targets.

Agholor has been a little inconsistent since the bye (Week 6), but the first-year Raider has more than 50 yards in four of his past six games. Going back to Week 4, he has either 50 yards and/or a touchdown in six of his past eight. A soft matchup against the winless Jets is on tap in Week 13 to help the Raiders offense get back on track.

6. Gabriel Davis, Buffalo Bills (3%)

Davis is certainly worth a look for deep-leaguers. The fourth-round rookie from UCF had three receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Davis now has two games with 70-plus yards and a score in his past three games.

With John Brown placed on IR, he'll join Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley in three-wide sets. The remaining schedule is difficult, however, as the Bills face the 49ers, Steelers, Broncos and Patriots over their next four games.

Week 13 Fantasy Football RB Waiver Wire Rankings

Every week, we examine players that may be available on your league's waiver wire that could help your team in the short and/or long term.

For a player to be listed, he must be owned in 50 percent (or less) of Yahoo! leagues. The goal is to provide recommendations of players that have a greater chance of being available on your league's waiver wire. Of course, your league's size and settings could significantly impact whether these players (or better options) are available in your particular league(s).

New Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray doesn't make our list due to our self-imposed limit. Rostered in 60% of Yahoo! leagues, Murray had a monster 19/124/2 rushing performance in Sunday's blowout. While those performances are unlikely as long as Alvin Kamara is healthy, he has top-five upside if Kamara were to miss any time.

If he's available in your league, now's the ideal time to add an elite handcuff to your bench stash. Assuming one more run-heavy game plan for the Saints with Taysom Hill under center, Murray could be a low-end RB2 against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13.

With that said, here are some running back waiver-wire options to consider heading into Week 13 (Yahoo! % rostered in parenthesis):

[Note: Players listed below are sorted by our preference to add.]

1. Frank Gore, New York Jets (25%)

Against his former team (Miami Dolphins), Gore carried the ball 18 times for 74 scoreless yards (4.11 YPC) and added three catches for 21 yards on Sunday. Gore's 21 touches and 86 scrimmage yards either set or tied season highs and he's currently the RB19 on the week with one game to go.

With La'Mical Perine (high-ankle sprain, IR) out at least two more weeks, it's likely that Gore will get 15-20 uninspiring touches this week as well. Volume is king in fantasy football, so even if with pedestrian peripherals, approaching 20 touches keeps Gore fantasy-relevant.

2. Devontae Booker, Las Vegas Raiders (9%)

Josh Jacobs sprained his ankle in Week 12, but he has a "chance to play" in Week 13, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. If he's inactive, Booker is a sure-fire RB2 with RB1 upside against the winless Jets.

Even if Jacobs is active, there's a chance that they turn to Booker more than they usually do in a game where there is blowout potential. The Raiders are currently eight-point road favorites.

3. Cam Akers, Los Angeles Rams (29%)

Akers had nine carries for 84 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. It's the third time in four games that Akers has at least nine carries. That's a start, but Akers has only three targets (and receptions) this season and it's been a three-headed approach with Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown.

While it may take an injury, I also believe that Akers' talent could allow him to emerge as the backfield's 1(a) even if all backs remain healthy. Until then, he's certainly worth a stash on your bench.

4. Alexander Mattison, Minnesota Vikings (32%)

At this point, Dalvin Cook (ankle) isn't expected to miss any time. After their soft Week 13 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Vikings get three bottom-eight matchups -- Buccaneers, Bears and Saints.

As we head towards the fantasy playoffs, however, Mattison is a must-own for any Cook owners. But he's also worth a stash for other fantasy managers as Mattison would become a top-15 play if Cook were to miss any time down the stretch.

5. DeAndre Washington, Miami Dolphins (1%)

With Matt Breida and Patrick Laird both fumbling in Week 12, the Dolphins turned to Washington, who led the team in rushing with 13 carries for 49 yards and added two catches for 11 yards on five targets.

If neither Myles Gaskin nor Salvon Ahmed return this week, it's possible that Washington leads the backfield in usage again in Week 13. Double-digit favorites against the Cincinnati Bengals, positive game script should benefit whichever running back gets the largest workload.

Week 13 Fantasy Football QB Waiver Wire Rankings

Every week, we examine players that may be available on your league's waiver wire that could help your team in the short and/or long term.

For a player to be listed, he must be owned in 50 percent (or less) of Yahoo! leagues. The goal is to provide recommendations of players that have a greater chance of being available on your league's waiver wire. Of course, your league's size and settings could significantly impact whether these players (or better options) are available in your particular league(s).

With that said, here are some quarterback waiver-wire options to consider heading into Week 13 (Yahoo! % rostered in parenthesis):

[Note: Players listed below are sorted by our preference to add.]

1. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings (40%)

It wouldn't be a surprise if Cousins threw only 14 passes in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but it's a favorable matchup and he's been playing well. Even without Adam Thielen last week, Cousins led the Vikings to a come-from-behind win over the Carolina Panthers as he threw for 307 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday.

Scoring 20-plus fantasy points in three of four games, Cousins has thrown 11 touchdowns and only one interception in that four-game span. In addition, he has back-to-back 300-yard games and at least 292 passing yards in three straight.

The Vikings are double-digit favorites in a game with a total north of 50 points, which will give Cousins & Co. one of the highest weekly implied totals.

2. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Miami Dolphins (20%)

Not that you care about my Scott Fish Bowl team (can start two quarterbacks), but my two Week 1 starters (Dak Prescott and Joe Burrow) were lost for the season and my high-upside QB3 (Fitzpatrick) had already been benched a top-five pick. That meant that I had to resort to starting Nick Mullens and Joe Flacco a couple of weeks ago.

Fortunately, I didn't drop Fitzpatrick (after he was benched) and if he's available in your league, he's a viable streamer in single-QB leagues until Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) is reinserted as the starter.

While it wasn't needed for him to do much in a 20-3 win over the Jets, Fizpatrick threw for 257 yards and two scores. If we only consider his starts this season, he has scored 18-plus fantasy points in six consecutive starts. Week 1 was the only exception. The Dolphins face the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs over the next couple of weeks.

3. Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts (33%)

Early this season (Weeks 1-5), Rivers threw less than 30 pass attempts in three of his first five games and averaged only 30.8 attempts over that five-game stretch. Since then, he has a minimum of 33 pass attempts in six consecutive games and is averaging 39.5 per game over that span.

Over the next three weeks, Rivers and the Colts have favorable matchups against the Houston Texans, Las Vegas Raiders and Texans again. While Houston started slowly, they have been playing better lately and Deshaun Watson is playing as well as he's ever had. In other words, it may not be a handoff-laden game plan for the Colts as the team may need to keep pace with the Texans' offense.

Because of passing volume, Rivers has scored 22-plus fantasy points in half of his past six games and 18-plus in four of six. Given the upcoming schedule, Rivers should be a high-end QB2 in each of his next three games.

4. Colt McCoy, New York Giants (0%)

If you're in a 2-QB or Super Flex (QB-eligible) league, the quarterbacks listed above are already owned. McCoy (most likely) isn't. With Daniel Jones (hamstring) expected to miss some time and a matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, McCoy could be a plug-and-play option off the waiver wire for you as a top-24 play.
