In addition to viewing our 2019 Fantasy Football Projections by position, we will post our preseason projections per team.

Below you will find our 2019 fantasy football projections for the Indianapolis Colts.

QUARTERBACKS

PlayerAtt.Comp.YardsTDINTRushYardsTDPoints
Andrew Luck602.5400.74398.335.2514.7650.3211.31.26316.1
Winner of the NFL Comeback of the Year Award, Luck threw for 4,593 yards and 39 touchdowns, both of which were the second-most of his career. Finishing as fantasy's QB5 last season, Luck has now finished as a top-five fantasy quarterback in four consecutive seasons where he's played at least 15 games.

RUNNING BACKS

PlayerAtt.YardsTDRec.YardsTDPoints
Marlon Mack238.91051.29.9128.4244.21.35197.1
Missing four games in 2018, Mack has now missed multiple games in each of his first two seasons. Highly productive when he was on the field, the second-year back had at least 119 rushing yards and a touchdown (or more) in five of his final 12 games counting the playoffs. During that 12-game span, Mack scored 11 total touchdowns. Running behind one of the league's best offensive lines, Mack has legitimate top-five upside despite having a late-second/early-third round ADP.
Nyheim Hines71.3263.81.4350.2341.41.7679.66
The selection of second-round receiver Parris Campbell could cut into his receiving opportunities some, but Hines should get north of 50 receptions as a change-of-pace to Mack.

WIDE RECEIVERS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints
T.Y. Hilton76.81240.36.53000163.21
Excluding the season that Andrew Luck missed, Hilton has five consecutive seasons over 1,000 yards. Hilton missed two games last season and dealt with a high-ankle sprain down the stretch, but he set career highs with 10.6 yards per target, 90.7 yards per game and a catch rate of 63.3 percent. The only drawback with the 5-foot-10 receiver is that he has never had more than seven touchdowns in any of his seven seasons.
Devin Funchess46.3615.85.7900096.32
The Colts target their tight ends often in the red zone, but Funchess gives Andrew Luck a TE-sized receiver. Only 25 years old and just two seasons removed from a top-25 season, Funchess will help Luck more than he'll be a viable fantasy option on his own outside of deeper leagues.
Parris Campbell41.9410.63.1410.547.30.2165.89
Campbell gives the Colts another dynamic speedster, but there's a good chance that he could be No. 5 or even 6 in line for targets as a rookie. Like Funchess, Campbell's 2019 impact will be more of a boost for Luck.
Chester Rogers18.2191.10.9100024.57

TIGHT ENDS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints
Eric Ebron51.3574.66.0300093.64
The former top-10 pick, Ebron had a breakout season in his first with Andrew Luck and the Colts. Ebron turned his 110 targets into 66 catches for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns. Ebron's target volume will drop as long as Jack Doyle stays healthy all season, but he's in the next tier of tight ends outside the top six.
Jack Doyle52.3475.94.8400076.63
Missing 10 games last season, Doyle (hip) has resumed running routes at full speed. Doyle is essentially going undrafted based on his current ADP, but he is an excellent streaming option for someone that decides to punt the position.
Mo Alie-Cox10.7133.81.6100023.04
Alie-Cox has generated some buzz this offseason and if Ebron and/or Doyle were to miss any time this season, he could parlay that into some fantasy-relevant weeks given how much the Colts offense involves their tight ends.

Week 13 Fantasy Football QB Rankings

The upside seemed obvious entering the season, but not even his biggest proponent could have expected the level of success he has experienced thus far.

Coming off his Week 12 bye, no player has scored more fantasy points this season than Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

More impressive than the overall production has been Mahomes' level of consistency. With the exception of Week 5 (against Jacksonville), Mahomes has scored 20-plus fantasy points and finished as a top-12 fantasy quarterback every week. In addition, Mahomes has thrown for 300-plus yards and/or thrown multiple scores in every game this season.

Mahomes (10) leads the league in 20-point fantasy performances and no other quarterback has more than eight (Andrew Luck, Cam Newton and Ben Roethlisberger).

Heading into the final five weeks of the season, Mahomes has thrown for 3,628 yards, 37 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions. Not only is Mahomes throwing touchdowns at a league-best 9.5-percent rate, he has a pair of touchdown runs as well.

Based on his production thus far, Mahomes is on pace to become only the second 5,000/50 quarterback. If he maintains his current pace, he will finish the season with 5,277 yards and 54 touchdowns. Peyton Manning set the record for both in 2013 with 5,476 yards and 55 touchdowns.

Tom Brady is the only other quarterback to reach the 50-TD mark and Mahomes would become the sixth 5,000-yard passer. In addition to Drew Brees, who has done it five times, HOFer Dan Marino, Manning, Brady and Matthew Stafford have 5,000-yard seasons under the belt.

Once again, Mahomes tops my weekly rankings.

If there's a concern with this week's matchup against the Raiders, it's the early possibility of a blowout over the Raiders. Even so, no team is projected to score more points this week than the Chiefs, who have an implied total over 35 based on Vegas odds.

3+ TDs for Andrew Luck?

In the history of the NFL, only two (other) quarterbacks -- Manning and Brady -- have done it before.

Done what?

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck carries an eight-game streak of three-plus passing touchdowns into Week 13. Not surprisingly, he has also finished as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in each of those eight games.

Facing division-rival Jacksonville this week, the matchup doesn't seem as difficult as it would have earlier in the season.

Limiting opposing quarterbacks to a QB16 (or worse) weekly finish in their first five games of the season, the Jags pass defense has been anything but elite. Since Week 6, they have surrendered 20-plus fantasy points and a top-eight weekly performance in five of six games including each of their past four matchups.

One of those matchups was Luck himself. In Week 10, Luck completed 21-of-29 for 285 yards and three scores. Luck has thrown multiple touchdowns in each of his past three games against the Jags.

Below is our Week 13 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings from Kevin Hanson:

2018 Fantasy Football Projections: Indianapolis Colts

In addition to viewing our 2018 Fantasy Football Projections by position, we will post our preseason projections per team.

Below you will find our 2018 fantasy football projections for the Indianapolis Colts.

Quarterbacks

PlayerAtt.Comp.YardsTDINTRushYardsTDFLPoints
Andrew Luck539.3331.7404528.616.756.62832.64.3278.1
It will be more than 600 days in between regular-season games and it's been an up-and-down preseason for Luck. The good news, however, is that he's back on the field and he ended the preseason with a strong performance against the 49ers. There is some obvious risk with Luck but also plenty of upside going into 2018. In his past three full seasons, Luck has finished as fantasy's QB4 (2013), QB2 (2014) and QB4 (2016).

Running Backs

PlayerAtt.YardsTDRec.YardsTDFLPoints
Marlon Mack123.5518.73.523.7210.90.91.296.96
Mack had 583 YFS, 21 receptions and four touchdowns with an average of 3.8 YPC as a rookie in 2017. With Frank Gore now in Miami, Mack should lead the team's backfield, but his Week 1 availability is "not a slam dunk." Colts owner Jim Irsay talked Mack up saying he "could see [Mack] approaching 1,500 yards" on the year.
Nyheim Hines65.1286.41.430.5280.61.50.872.5
Drawing comparisons to Darren Sproles, Hines is an explosive (4.38 forty) athlete, converted wide receiver and his versatility should allow Frank Reich to move him all over the field. A disappointing preseason, especially in terms of ball-security issues, could limit his early-season role.
Jordan Wilkins78.6330.12.23.321.50.10.348.36
Especially if Mack misses time to begin the season, the fifth-round rookie out of Mississippi should be able to carve out an early-down role in what could be a committee backfield.
Christine Michael67.4262.92.26.131.70.10.143.06
If Mack sits out the season opener, Michael appears the likeliest of Colts running backs to lead the group in workload. With no shortage of physical tools, Michael (along with the rest of the team's backs) has had a lackluster preseason performance.

T.Y. Hilton75.812285.80001.2155.2
Failing to reach the 1,000-yard mark for the first time since his rookie season, the new offense and return of Andrew Luck bodes well for Hilton, who led the NFL with 1,448 receiving yards in 2016. While he likely won't lead the league in receiving yards again, a bounce-back season should be in the cards for Hilton.
Ryan Grant51.4611.73.60000.182.57
Beyond Hilton, Grant appears to be next in line amongst the team's wide receivers. Earlier this month, coach Frank Reich said: "T.Y. (Hilton) and Ryan Grant have really separated themselves." Grant set career highs last season in Washington with 45 catches for 573 yards and four touchdowns.

Jack Doyle59.6548.35.40001.584.23
Doyle finished second on the team in targets (108) last season and posted career highs with 80 catches and 690 yards last season. With the Colts signing Eric Ebron, it's possible that Doyle fails to reach those numbers again. The return of Andrew Luck, however, makes Doyle a back-end TE1 heading into 2018.
Eric Ebron46.6568.54.20000.281.65
Missing multiple games in his first three seasons, Ebron played a full 16-game slate last year and finished 2017 with a 53/574/4 line. The former top-10 pick is still just 25 years old, has 161 receptions for 1,822 yards and 10 touchdowns over the past three years and perhaps the change of scenery will do him some good.

In his past three full seasons, Luck has finished as fantasy's QB4 (2013), QB2 (2014) and QB4 (2016). T.Y. Hilton721180.85.40001.2148.08
Failing to reach the 1,000-yard mark for the first time since his rookie season, the new offense and return of Andrew Luck bodes well for Hilton, who led the NFL with 1,448 receiving yards in 2016. A bounce-back campaign is on the horizon for the speedster, but one concern (with or without Luck) is the lack of touchdowns -- Hilton has never had more than seven scores in a season.

Jack Doyle57.55295.20001.581.1
Doyle finished second on the team in targets (108) last season and posted career highs with 80 catches and 690 yards last season. With the Colts signing Eric Ebron, it's possible that Doyle fails to reach those numbers or perhaps even his 2016 numbers (59/584/5).
Eric Ebron45.3552.74.10000.279.47
Missing multiple games in his first three seasons, Ebron played a full 16-game slate last year and finished with 53/574/4. Ebron has 161 receptions for 1,822 yards and 10 touchdowns over the past three years combined. The former top-10 pick is still just 25 years old and perhaps the change of scenery will do him some good.

Andrew Luck521.6320.8391227.116.255.12812.84.5268.38
Assuming Luck is under center against the Bengals in Week 1, it will be 616 days in between games. One major positive is that Luck continues to be pain-free in his shoulder after throwing sessions. Still without In his past three full seasons, Luck has finished as fantasy's QB4 (2013), QB2 (2014) and QB4 (2016). If he can stay healthy for the entire season, there is plenty of profit potential for those willing to roll the dice on Luck.

Marlon Mack152.36323.825222.511.2111.85
With Frank Gore no longer in the picture, Mack is the favorite for the largest share of the backfield's workload, but Indianapolis drafted running backs Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins in the fourth and fifth rounds, respectively. Mack, who is recovering from shoulder surgery, had 583 YFS, 21 receptions and four touchdowns with an average of 3.8 YPC as a rookie in 2017.

While there remains some concern with Luck, signs point to him being ready for the start of the 2018 NFL season. If so, it's a major boost to the offense overall even though Jacoby Brissett filled in admirably given the circumstances. In his past three full seasons, Luck has finished as fantasy's QB4 (2013), QB2 (2014) and QB4 (2016). If he can stay healthy for the entire season, there is plenty of profit potential for those willing to roll the dice on Luck.
