QUARTERBACKS

PlayerAtt.Comp.YardsTDINTRushYardsTDPoints
Drake Maye411.7251.1277914.4111.1252.9224.82.65184.94
Jacoby Brissett137.287.8905.54.392.214.859.20.8560.4

Drake Maye: The Patriots drafted Maye third overall, and it's obvious he's the team's quarterback of the future. But will that future begin in Week 1? Currently, I project Jacoby Brissett to make roughly a quarter of the team's starts. With one of the league's least dynamic receiving corps, the passing numbers will likely be modest whether he starts Week 1 or takes over later in the year. Even so, his mobility and rushing upside could make him a viable streaming option.

Jacoby Brissett: Back with the team that drafted him in 2016, Brissett will play for his fifth team in five seasons. Across 48 career starts, Brissett has averaged only 208.2 passing yards and one passing touchdown per game. He lacks fantasy upside, even if he begins the year as the starter.

RUNNING BACKS

Kevin Harris24.398.40.734.129.50.119.82
JaMycal Hasty5.522.80.152.920.30.17.26

Rhamondre Stevenson: New England had one of the league's worst offenses — 30th in total offense, 29th in yards per play and 31st in scoring offense — in 2023, and now they will most likely give most of their snaps to a rookie quarterback. The situation limits his ceiling, but Stevenson is a solid RB2 in fantasy. He's two years removed from a 1,461-yard and 69-reception season.

Antonio Gibson: While he exceeded 1,000 scrimmage yards and scored double-digit touchdowns in each of his first two seasons, Gibson set career lows in touches (113), scrimmage yards (654) and touchdowns (three) in 2023. On a positive note, he gets a fresh start in New England.

Jalen Reagor2.227.60.10004.46

Demario Douglas: Although he failed to score a touchdown, Douglas had 49 catches for 561 yards as a late-round rookie (210th overall) last season. Douglas had at least five targets in his final nine games, and he averaged 4.3 catches for 46.4 yards on 6.9 targets per game over that stretch.

Ja'Lynn Polk: Polk doesn't have the elite long-term upside of his former Washington Huskies teammate Rome Odunze (92/1,640/13), but he has excellent ball skills and body control and was highly productive in his final collegiate season (69/1,159/9). The Patriots used a high second-round pick (37th overall) on Polk, and he has the potential to lead the team's receiving corps in fantasy production.

Hunter Henry: Through three seasons in New England, Henry has finished with 41 to 50 catches, 419 to 603 yards, and two to nine touchdowns. Henry's primary fantasy success will be tied to his TD production — will the number be closer to the two or nine ends of that range?

QUARTERBACKS

Jacoby Brissett82.852.2571.32.981.3719.676.40.6943.81

Sam Howell: Slipping to the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Howell started the season finale and enters 2023 as Washington's starter. Howell completed only 11-of-19 pass attempts for 169 yards (8.9 Y/A), a touchdown and an interception in his lone start, and he also ran for 35 yards and a touchdown on five carries. With a talented receiving corps, a new offensive coordinator and some mobility, Howell has a chance to deliver better-than-expected results in 2023. If Howell struggles at all, however, it wouldn't be suprising to see Jacoby Brissett make starts.

Chris Rodriguez Jr.24.5104.10.617.657.30.325.4

Brian Robinson Jr.: Given what he endured before last season (shot multiple times during a car jacking), Robinson had an incredibly impressive rookie season and shouldered a heavy workload, when healthy. He averaged 17.1 carries per game, although he was less involved as a receiver (12 targets in 12 games).

Antonio Gibson: Fumbling issues plagued Gibson's 2021 season, and he was inefficient last season (3.66 YPC) with career lows in both touches (195) and yards from scrimmage (899). Gibson has a minimum of 36 catches in each season with a career-high 46 last year and coach Ron Rivera referred to him as a "matchup nightmare for the opponent." With J.D. McKissic no longer on the roster, Gibson expects his role to include "third-down back, end-of-game situation, end-of-half situation and things like that."

Byron Pringle4.853.30.30009.53
Kazmeir Allen1.721.70.10003.62

Terry McLaurin: Just shy of the 1,000-yard mark as a rookie (2019) when he missed two games, McLaurin has since finished every season with more than 75 receptions and 1,000 yards. While he has averaged 80.3 receptions and 1,120.7 yards over the past three seasons, he has only 14 total touchdowns.

Jahan Dotson: Dotson missed five games in his rookie season, but the 2022 first-rounder finished with 35 receptions for 523 yards (14.9 Y/R) and seven touchdowns. Dotson has some breakout appeal as he heads into his sophomore campaign.

Curtis Samuel: Samuel played limited offensive snaps (84) in his first season (2021) with the Commanders as he dealt with injuries, but he had 64 receptions for 656 yards and four touchdowns and added 187 rushing yards and a score in 2022. In his past three healthy seasons, he has finished as fantasy's WR34 (2022), WR25 (2020) and WR36 (2019). Perhaps he doesn't have a fourth top-36 season in five years, but he'll likely outperform his ADP if he can stay healthy.

Going into his age-32 season, he may be the fourth option in the passing game behind Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson and Curtis Samuel, but team reporter Zach Selby wrote, "it looks like Washington's tight ends are going to be heavily involved in the passing game this season."

Cleveland Browns Fantasy Football Projections 2022

Our 2022 Fantasy Football Projections will be viewable by both position and team.

Below you will find our 2022 fantasy football projections for the Cleveland Browns.

Joshua Dobbs23.614.6155.80.90.642.510.60.059.91

Jacoby Brissett: Deshaun Watson's 11-game suspension makes Brissett the starter for the majority of the 2022 season. In his two seasons as a full-time starter (2017 and 2019), he finished as fantasy's QB20 and QB23, respectively. He's a low-upside option when he starts and he'll lose his starting gig during the fantasy playoffs, which makes him only a consideration in 2-QB formats.

Deshaun Watson: Suspended for the first 11 games of the season, Watson is eligible to return in Week 13 against his former team (Houston Texans). Especially for those in 2-QB formats, Watson would provide a significant boost for the fantasy playoffs. While he also did not play a snap in 2021, Watson has finished as fantasy's QB4, QB4 and QB5 in his three NFL seasons as a full-time starter. In other words, he will be a top-10 option (or better) in fantasy from Week 13 on.

RUNNING BACKS

Demetric Felton416.40.099.170.60.416.19
Jerome Ford14.262.50.393.525.30.113.47

Nick Chubb: One of the league's best pure runners, Chubb has yet to finish with fewer than 996 rushing yards, eight rushing touchdowns or 5.0 yards per carry in a season. Even though he's missed a total of seven games over the past two seasons combined, Chubb has finished his four seasons as fantasy's RB16, RB7, RB9 and RB11, respectively, in half-PPR scoring.

Kareem Hunt: Entering the final year of his contract, Hunt had requested a trade but the Browns have rejected that request. No team has a more talented duo on their roster than Chubb and Hunt, who was the NFL's rushing champion in 2017 as a rookie with Kansas City. Given his versatile skill set, Hunt provides stand-alone flex value when Chubb is active and RB1 upside when/if Chubb misses time.

Michael Woods II2.728.90.20005.44

Amari Cooper: No longer in Dallas, Cooper won't face the same kind of target competition in Cleveland as he's clearly the team's No. 1 receiver in 2022. That said, there is plenty of risk to the passing offense in general with Deshaun Watson suspended for 11 games. Cooper has five 1,000-yard campaigns in seven seasons.

David Njoku47.4546.43.400098.74
Harrison Bryant31.4323.92.200061.29

David Njoku: Njoku finished 2021 with 36 catches for 475 yards and four touchdowns. The only Browns with more receptions last season -- Jarvis Landry (52) and Austin Hooper (38) -- are no longer on the roster, although the team traded for Amari Cooper. I expect Njoku to finish second on the team in receiving across the board, behind only Cooper.

Miami Dolphins Week 4 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2021 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Miami Dolphins rank in terms of average, best and worst:

  • Average ranking: 21.6 (22nd)
  • Best ranking: 21st (Multiple)
  • Worst ranking: 23rd (ESPN)

Below you will find a Week 4 roundup for the Dolphins in our consensus 2021 NFL Power Rankings.

ESPN -- Rank: 23

Tua Tagovailoa was six plays into his second game of the season before fracturing his ribs against the Buffalo Bills, so he never really got into any sort of rhythm. Jacoby Brissett has been somewhat conservative in his stead, particularly during the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to the Raiders; but he did flash some brilliance late in the contest. He led a game-tying drive with time running out in the fourth quarter and converted a critical fourtth-and-20 in overtime. His teammates have confidence in him and his number should rise as Brissett becomes more comfortable in the offense. Tagovailoa will miss at least the next two games. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

NFL.com -- Rank: 21

The Dolphins fought to the bitter end in a 31-28 overtime loss to the Raiders, and they deserve credit for fighting back in a game that appeared to have slipped away when Vegas reeled off 25 unanswered points to take an 11-point lead early in the fourth quarter. A lot of the credit has to go to Jacoby Brissett, who has followed in the footsteps of Ryan Fitzpatrick as the rock-solid backup who will keep the Dolphins from disaster while Tua Tagovailoa recuperates from broken ribs. Not enough teams put the proper value on a No. 2 QB -- the Dolphins seem to get it. The schedule softens over the next month, but a Week 4 game against the winless Colts profiles close to a must-win.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 21

They are 1-2 and playing for a stretch without their starting quarterback. This is a must-win this week against the Colts at home.

USA Today -- Rank: 21

They've generated a takeaway in a league-best 25 consecutive games but have won the turnover battle twice in their past four (three losses).

The Athletic -- Rank: 22

Surprise! The Dolphins have not made up any ground in the AFC East. That's disappointing, considering the trajectory Miami was on heading into this season. There are some reasonable explanations for this, most notably losing quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for at least several weeks after he suffered broken ribs early in Week 2's loss to Buffalo. Still, it's surprising to see how little Miami has been able to close the gap on the Bills after all of the investments it made to improve its skill-position group this offseason. Miami right now appears no closer, and perhaps even further way, from competing for a division title than it did when it narrowly missed out on a wild-card playoff spot last season.

Indianapolis Colts 2019 Fantasy Football Projections

In addition to viewing our 2019 Fantasy Football Projections by position, we will post our preseason projections per team.

Andrew Luck602.5400.74398.335.2514.7650.3211.31.26316.1
Winner of the NFL Comeback of the Year Award, Luck threw for 4,593 yards and 39 touchdowns, both of which were the second-most of his career. Finishing as fantasy's QB5 last season, Luck has now finished as a top-five fantasy quarterback in four consecutive seasons where he's played at least 15 games.

RUNNING BACKS

Marlon Mack238.91051.29.9128.4244.21.35197.1
Missing four games in 2018, Mack has now missed multiple games in each of his first two seasons. Highly productive when he was on the field, the second-year back had at least 119 rushing yards and a touchdown (or more) in five of his final 12 games counting the playoffs. During that 12-game span, Mack scored 11 total touchdowns. Running behind one of the league's best offensive lines, Mack has legitimate top-five upside despite having a late-second/early-third round ADP.
Nyheim Hines71.3263.81.4350.2341.41.7679.66
The selection of second-round receiver Parris Campbell could cut into his receiving opportunities some, but Hines should get north of 50 receptions as a change-of-pace to Mack.

WIDE RECEIVERS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints
T.Y. Hilton76.81240.36.53000163.21
Excluding the season that Andrew Luck missed, Hilton has five consecutive seasons over 1,000 yards. Hilton missed two games last season and dealt with a high-ankle sprain down the stretch, but he set career highs with 10.6 yards per target, 90.7 yards per game and a catch rate of 63.3 percent. The only drawback with the 5-foot-10 receiver is that he has never had more than seven touchdowns in any of his seven seasons.
Devin Funchess46.3615.85.7900096.32
The Colts target their tight ends often in the red zone, but Funchess gives Andrew Luck a TE-sized receiver. Only 25 years old and just two seasons removed from a top-25 season, Funchess will help Luck more than he'll be a viable fantasy option on his own outside of deeper leagues.
Parris Campbell41.9410.63.1410.547.30.2165.89
Campbell gives the Colts another dynamic speedster, but there's a good chance that he could be No. 5 or even 6 in line for targets as a rookie. Like Funchess, Campbell's 2019 impact will be more of a boost for Luck.
Chester Rogers18.2191.10.9100024.57

Eric Ebron51.3574.66.0300093.64
The former top-10 pick, Ebron had a breakout season in his first with Andrew Luck and the Colts. Ebron turned his 110 targets into 66 catches for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns. Ebron's target volume will drop as long as Jack Doyle stays healthy all season, but he's in the next tier of tight ends outside the top six.
Jack Doyle52.3475.94.8400076.63
Missing 10 games last season, Doyle (hip) has resumed running routes at full speed. Doyle is essentially going undrafted based on his current ADP, but he is an excellent streaming option for someone that decides to punt the position.
Mo Alie-Cox10.7133.81.6100023.04
Alie-Cox has generated some buzz this offseason and if Ebron and/or Doyle were to miss any time this season, he could parlay that into some fantasy-relevant weeks given how much the Colts offense involves their tight ends.

Nyheim Hines69.22561.3851.6350.91.5578.27
The selection of second-round receiver Parris Campbell could cut into his receiving opportunities some, but Hines should get north of 50 receptions as a change-of-pace to Mack.

WIDE RECEIVERS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints
T.Y. Hilton79.91290.46.19000166.18
Devin Funchess42.3562.64.8600085.42
The Colts target their tight ends often in the red zone, but Funchess gives Andrew Luck a TE-sized receiver. Only 25 years old and just two seasons removed from a top-25 season, Funchess will help Luck more than he'll be a viable fantasy option on his own outside of deeper leagues.
Parris Campbell44.2433.22.4310.547.30.2163.89
Campbell gives the Colts another dynamic speedster, but there's a good chance that he could be No. 5 or even 6 in line for targets as a rookie. Like Funchess, Campbell's 2019 impact will be more of a boost for Luck.

TIGHT ENDS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints
Eric Ebron52.8591.46.0700095.56
The former top-10 pick, Ebron had a breakout season in his first with Andrew Luck and the Colts. Ebron turned his 110 targets into 66 catches for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns. Ebron is a top-six option at the position, but his target volume may drop if Doyle stays healthy all season.
Jack Doyle53.7488.74.5600076.23
Missing 10 games last season, Doyle (hip) has resumed running routes at full speed. Doyle is essentially going undrafted based on his current ADP and is a excellent streaming option for someone that decides to punt the position.
Mo Alie-Cox9.1113.80.9100016.84
Alie-Cox has generated some buzz this offseason and if Ebron and/or Doyle were to miss any time this season, he could parlay that into some fantasy-relevant weeks given how much the Colts offense involves their tight ends.

Andrew Luck508.7312.9381526.515.853.8274.42.74.5261.64
While there remains some concern with Luck, signs point to him being ready for the start of the 2018 NFL season. If so, it's a major boost to the offense overall even though Jacoby Brissett filled in admirably given the circumstances. In his past three full seasons, Luck has finished as fantasy's QB4 (2013), QB2 (2014) and QB4 (2016). If he can stay healthy for the entire season, there is plenty of profit potential for those willing to roll the dice on Luck.

Running Backs

Marlon Mack152.36323.824.9221.611.2111.76
With Frank Gore no longer in the picture, Mack is the favorite for the largest share of the backfield's workload, but Indianapolis drafted running backs Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins in the fourth and fifth rounds, respectively. Mack, who is recovering from shoulder surgery, had 583 YFS, 21 receptions and four touchdowns with an average of 3.8 YPC as a rookie in 2017.
Nyheim Hines71.7315.51.428.72641.40.873.15
Drawing some comparisons to Darren Sproles, Hines is an explosive (4.38 forty) athlete, converted wide receiver and his versatility should allow Frank Reich to move him all over the field.

Wide Receivers

T.Y. Hilton71.111665.30001.2146
Failing to reach the 1,000-yard mark for the first time since his rookie season, the new offense and return of Andrew Luck bodes well for Hilton, who led the NFL with 1,448 receiving yards in 2016. A bounce-back campaign is on the horizon for the speedster, but one concern is the lack of touchdowns -- Hilton has never had more than seven scores in a season.

Tight Ends

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDFLPoints
Jack Doyle56.9523.55.10001.579.95
Doyle finished second on the team in targets (108) last season and posted career highs with 80 catches and 690 yards last season. By signing Eric Ebron, it's possible that Doyle fails to reach those numbers or perhaps even his 2016 numbers (59/584/5).
Eric Ebron41.74652.90000.263.5
Missing multiple games in his first three seasons, Ebron played a full 16-game slate last year and finished with 53/574/4. Ebron has 161 receptions for 1,822 yards and 10 touchdowns over the past three years combined. The former top-10 pick is still just 25 years old and perhaps the change of scenery will do him good.
