Our Fantasy Football Projections will be viewable by both position and team.

Below you will find our 2023 fantasy football projections for the Philadelphia Eagles.

QUARTERBACKS

PlayerAtt.Comp.YardsTDINTRushYardsTDPoints
Jalen Hurts495.2321.93837.822.787.43148.1725.79.26357.9
Marcus Mariota34.421.5252.81.510.8912.160.50.4823.3

Jalen Hurts: Hurts set career bests in passing — 66.5% completion, 8.0 Y/A, 4.8 TD%, 1.2 INT%, and 101.5 passer rating — in 2022. Despite his improvement as a passer, aided by the trade for A.J. Brown last offseason, it's especially the rushing production that makes him an elite fantasy quarterback. Over the past two seasons (30 games), the former Oklahoma (and Alabama) quarterback has rushed 304 times for 1,544 yards and 23 touchdowns. That's an equivalent to 9.75 fantasy points per game (from his rushing stats alone).

RUNNING BACKS

PlayerAtt.YardsTDRec.YardsTDPoints
D'Andre Swift126.6582.45.3837.1286.31.5146.7
Rashaad Penny150.8731.45.816.955.20.2118.17

Boston Scott22.997.30.927.455.20.326.27

D'Andre Swift: There's a good chance that Swift leads Philadelphia's backfield in fantasy production, as long as he stays healthy, but he has missed a minimum of three games every season in his young career. Swift is one of the league's best receiving backs with an average of 3.9 receptions per game in his career. While he'll benefit from playing in a high-powered offense and behind an elite offense line, a drop in target share is likely with Jalen Hurts (165 carries in 2022) under center. Only Chicago's running backs had fewer receptions than Philadelphia's last season.

Rashaad Penny: Through five NFL seasons, Penny has missed nearly as many games (40) as he has played (42). When healthy, however, he has averaged 5.7 yards per carry over his career and an even-better 6.2 YPC over the past two seasons (176/1095/8). Aside from durability concerns, Penny hasn't been a factor in the passing game — 36 career targets in 42 games.

Kenneth Gainwell: The Eagles will employ a committee approach to their backfield, and it's even possible that Gainwell will lead the backfield in fantasy production without factoring in health. Given the durability history of Swift and Penny, however, there is the potential that Gainwell gets even more work than anticipated.

WIDE RECEIVERS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints

Quez Watkins25.6341.61.900058.36
Olamide Zaccheaus9.8126.80.800022.38

A.J. Brown: Brown shattered previous career highs in targets (145), receptions (88) and yards (1,496) last season and tied his career high in touchdowns (11) in his first season in Philadelphia. Even if he doesn't repeat as a top-five fantasy wide receiver, he's the 1A in this offense to Devonta Smith's 1B, and should be drafted as a top-10 receiver in 2023.

DeVonta Smith: Smith followed up a strong 2021 rookie season (64/916/5) with an even better sophomore campaign (95/1,196/7) despite the addition of A.J. Brown to the receiving corps. Brown was fantasy's WR5 (half-PPR scoring) in 2022, but Smith was also a top-10 performer last season.

Brown, Goedert's 58.5 YPG average was a career high and he had 60-plus yards in eight of 12 games. In addition, he had a minimum of three catches in all but one game last season.

Detroit Lions Fantasy Football Projections 2022

Our 2022 Fantasy Football Projections will be viewable by both position and team.

Below you will find our 2022 fantasy football projections for the Detroit Lions.

Nate Sudfeld42.327.1300.31.711.068.220.50.1619.74

Jared Goff: Goff isn't much more than a back-end QB2 in two-QB or Super Flex formats, but he has a better offensive supporting cast around him this year when everyone is healthy. Not only did the Lions sign D.J. Chark to a one-year deal in free agency, but they traded up to draft this year's biggest home run threat (Jameson Williams) as well.

RUNNING BACKS

Craig Reynolds39.2164.60.883.625.40.126.68
Jason Cabinda3.112.70.063.827.50.27.48

D'Andre Swift: Swift has played exactly 13 games in each of his first two seasons, but he offers plenty of upside if he can stay healthy given his versatile skill set. Despite missing four games in 2021, Swift had 62 catches for 452 yards and two touchdowns in addition to a 151/617/5 rushing line. Swift was 12th in half-PPR fantasy points per game in 2021.

Jamaal Williams: Like Swift, Williams missed four games in 2021 but set a career high in rushing yards (601) and tied a career high in rush attempts (153). While his targets per game (2.15) was near a career low, he set a career high in catch rate (92.9%) and finished with 2.0 receptions per game, his career average.

WIDE RECEIVERS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints
Amon-Ra St. Brown85.6877.24.96.243.40.31166.12

Kalif Raymond16180.1114.50.0332.64
Quintez Cephus784.80.500014.98

Amon-Ra St. Brown: St. Brown was highly productive as a fourth-round rookie, as the former USC Trojan finished 2021 with 90 catches (T-15th) for 912 yards (30th) and five touchdowns on 119 targets (26th). With the Lions dealing with injuries to other pass catchers down the stretch, St. Brown converted 67 targets into 51 receptions for 560 yards and scored all five of his touchdowns over the final six games of the season. Only Cooper Kupp scored more fantasy points than St. Brown over that span.

D.J. Chark: Signing a one-year deal to play for the Lions, Chark missed nearly all of the 2021 season, but the former Jag has a 1,000-yard season (73/1,008/8 in 2019) under his belt. He's developed good chemistry with Jared Goff leading into the season.

Jameson Williams: If it weren't for a torn ACL at the end of the season, Williams could have possibly been the first receiver off the board in the 2022 NFL Draft. With his elite speed and quickness, Williams is a threat to take it to the house any time he touches the ball. Williams begins the season on the reserve/NFI list, which means he'll miss a minimum of four games, but his rehab is going well and "could accelerate" his return from what was initially expected.

Shane Zylstra1.212.70.10002.47

T.J. Hockenson: Hockenson missed five games last season, but he set per-game career highs in receptions (5.1) and yards (48.6) as well as catch rate (72.6%). Given the additions to the receiving corps (D.J. Chark and Jameson Williams), Jared Goff won't need to rely as heavily on Hockenson this year.

D.J. Chark: Chark missed nearly all of 2021, and signed a one-year deal with the Lions for the upcoming season. The former Jag has a 1,000-yard season (73/1,008/8 in 2019) under his belt, but he could end up fifth in line for targets when the team is at full strength.

Jared Goff: Traded to Detroit, Goff joins a less potent offense that will be more run-based in philosophy. Given that only the Houston Texans have a lower Vegas team wins total, it's certainly possible that game script will dictate more pass attempts than the new coaching staff would prefer. Over the past two seasons, Goff has failed to exceed a 3.6 TD%. In other words, even when he led the league in pass attempts (626) in 2019, he threw only 22 touchdowns.

RUNNING BACKS

Jason Cabinda1.14.20.030.96.301.68

D'Andre Swift: Swift was much more involved in the second half of the season as he finished his rookie campaign with 114/521/8 (4.6 YPC) rushing and 46/357/2 (7.8 Y/R) receiving. Swift had three-plus catches in 12 of 13 games. While I have him ranked as a mid-tier RB2, his ability as a receiver gives him the upside to crack the top-10 fantasy running backs in 2021, especially in full PPR formats.

Jamaal Williams: In his four NFL seasons, Williams has averaged 736.5 scrimmage yards, 155.5 touches and 30.5 receptions per season with the Packers. While he remains his team's RB2 (to D'Andre Swift instead of Aaron Jones), Williams should get 8-10 touches per game even with both Swift and Williams healthy.

Victor Bolden0.910.50.10002.1

Tyrell Williams: Williams is a wideout that has had some success elsewhere that will play a heavy amount of snaps, by default. Williams broke out in 2016 (69/1,059/7), but he has hovered in the 651-728 yardage range since then excluding last season's injured campaign (shoulder).

Breshad Perriman: Injuries to Tampa's wide receivers allowed Perriman to close 2019 strong -- three 100-yard games and 25/506/5 over his final five games -- but those numbers were even better than his full-season numbers (12 games) as a Jet (30/505/3) in 2020. Perriman has missed multiple games in every season other than his rookie campaign (2016). The former first-rounder continues his tour around the league.

2021 Fantasy Football PPR Mock Draft: 14 Teams, 3rd Pick

The best way to become good at something is to practice. So, what should you do if you want to draft a better fantasy football team?

Practice, of course!

Leading up to the start of the 2021 NFL season, we will use the 2021 Fantasy Football Mock Draft Simulator (powered by FantasyPros) to complete fantasy football mock drafts.

We will use a variety of scoring formats -- PPR, half-PPR, standard scoring and even 2-QB leagues, league sizes and draft slots. The goal is to give you a good representation of the team that you may be able to construct given your league settings and the rationale of why we made the picks we did.

+ Our mocks will be tracked here: Fantasy Football Mock Drafts.

That said, nothing beats practicing yourself so (check out the simulator) and complete a mock in a matter of minutes.

PPR Mock Draft: 14 Teams, 3rd Pick

1.03 - Derrick Henry, RB, Tennessee Titans

If there's a concern with Henry, it's his relative lack of involvement in the passing game. That said, Henry more than compensates for his smaller role as a receiver with his dominant rushing production. Not only is he the back-to-back rushing champion coming off a 2,000-yard campaign, but Henry has led the league in rushing touchdowns in each of the past two seasons with 33 rushing scores in 31 games.

No running back scored more fantasy points in non-PPR formats, but Henry also finished second in half-PPR and third in (full) PPR as well.

2.12 - Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Football Team

While the team's quarterback play hasn't done him many favors, McLaurin managed to set career highs with 87 catches and 1,118 yards in his second season. While his Y/R dipped to 12.9 from 15.8, he set career highs in YPG (74.5) and catch rate (64.9%). Even though WFT didn't draft a QB in April, signing Ryan Fitzpatrick in free agency boosts McLaurin's outlook and puts him squarely in the WR1 mix.

3.03 - D'Andre Swift, RB, Detroit Lions

Swift was much more involved in the second half of the season as he finished his rookie campaign with 114/521/8 (4.6 YPC) rushing and 46/357/2 (7.8 Y/R) receiving. Swift had three-plus catches in 12 of 13 games and his ability as a receiver gives him the upside to crack the top-10 fantasy running backs in 2021.

4.12 - J.K. Dobbins, RB, Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens have had a 1,000-yard rusher in back-to-back seasons. Unfortunately (for the team's running backs), that player is quarterback Lamar Jackson. For a team that loves to run the ball, however, Dobbins offers plenty of profit potential as a mid-RB2 type. Dobbins could potentially be a steal if Harbaugh follows through on a "main offensive point of emphasis" this offseason, which is to get the RBs more involved in the passing game.

More: Baltimore Ravens 2021 Fantasy Football Projections

5.03 - D.J. Chark, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Chark missed three games in 2020 and averaged 12.9 yards per game less than in 2019, but improved quarterback play with Trevor Lawrence makes Chark a bounce-back candidate for 2021. Two seasons ago, Chark had 73 catches for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns in his age-23 season.

6.12 - Brandin Cooks, WR, Houston Texans

Averaging a career-high 76.7 YPG, Cooks finished his first season in Houston with 81 catches for 1,150 yards and six touchdowns. From Week 5 on, Cooks had at least 59 yards in 10 of 11 games. During that 11-game span, he averaged 6.5 catches and 92 yards per game.

Given Deshaun Watson's uncertain status as we approach the 2021 season, it's reasonable to project lower year-over-year numbers for Cooks, even with Will Fuller now in Miami. At the same time, he should be the recipient of as many targets as he can handle.

More: Houston Texans 53-Man Roster Projections

7.03 - Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers

The reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Herbert had at least 300 passing yards and/or multiple touchdowns in 13 of his 15 starts as a rookie. Even with a new coaching staff in place for the upcoming season, the second-year quarterback should benefit from a more normal offseason as he enters the season already entrenched as the starter. Not to mention, the offense should be more QB-friendly in 2021. It wouldn't surprise me if he makes a sophomore leap that catapults him into the top five or so QBs.

8.12 - Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys

It was a down year (59/843/5) for Gallup, who averaged 26.4 fewer yards per game than he did in 2019. Of course, the offense as a whole struggled without Dak Prescott and Gallup had 50-plus yards in four of five games with Prescott and in only three-of-11 games without him.

9.03 - Kenyan Drake, RB, Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders plan to use Drake in a variety of ways including at receiver. As my RB4 in Round 9, Drake is worth the risk this late.

10.12 - Mike Gesicki, TE, Miami Dolphins

The third-year tight end posted career highs across the board with 53 receptions, 703 yards and six touchdowns. Miami's pass-catching additions put a damper on Gesicki's 2021 outlook, but there is value at the 138th pick (TE13).

11.03 - Irv Smith, TE, Minnesota Vikings

Given that I waited so long to draft a tight end, I decided to double-up with Smith here. Smith missed three games last season, but he set career highs in YPG (28.1), Y/R (12.2) and touchdowns (five). With Kyle Rudolph no longer on the roster, the arrow is pointing up for the third-year tight end.

12.12 - Henry Ruggs III, WR, Las Vegas Raiders

As a rookie, Ruggs was used more as a decoy than a focal point of the offense and finished with a 26/452/2 line (17.4 Y/R). Ruggs added some weight in the offseason and the coaching staff has talked him up. He's worth a flier in Round 12.

13.03 - Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Sustaining his season-ending knee injury in Week 11, the only quarterback to throw more pass attempts than Burrow (404, 36.7/G) through that point in the season was Tom Brady (433, 36.1/G). Burrow should rank near the top of the NFL in pass attempts in 2021. That volume gives Burrow plenty of upside as the QB15 in this mock.

14.12 - Colts DST, Indianapolis Colts

15.03 - Parris Campbell, WR, Indianapolis Colts

After an injury-plagued rookie season, Campbell, a second-round pick in 2019, played only two snaps in Week 2 prior to a PCL injury that ended his 2020 season. Before the injury, he had 6/71 on nine targets and a nine-yard rush attempt in Week 1 last season. If he can stay healthy, he should challenge T.Y. Hilton and Michael Pittman as the team's most productive fantasy receiver.

16.12 - Jason Myers, K, Seattle Seahawks

Fantasy Football Projections 2021: Detroit Lions

Our 2021 Fantasy Football Projections will be viewable by both position and team.

Below you will find our 2021 fantasy football projections for the Detroit Lions.

QUARTERBACKS

Tim Boyle40.625.2280.11.340.854.34.70.0915.87

Jared Goff: Traded to Detroit, Goff joins a less potent offense that will be more run-based in philosophy. Given that only the Houston Texans have a lower Vegas team wins total, it's certainly possible that game script will dictate more pass attempts than the new coaching staff would prefer. Over the past two seasons, Goff has failed to exceed a 3.6 TD%. In other words, he threw only 22 touchdowns in 2019 when he led the league in pass attempts (626).

RUNNING BACKS

D'Andre Swift: Swift was much more involved in the second half of the season as he finished his rookie campaign with 114/521/8 (4.6 YPC) rushing and 46/357/2 (7.8 Y/R) receiving. Swift had three-plus catches in 12 of 13 games and his ability as a receiver gives him the upside to crack the top-10 fantasy running backs in 2021.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Kalif Raymond10.1148.70.600023.52
Geronimo Allison7.474.30.400013.53

Breshad Perriman: With injuries to Tampa's receivers, Perriman closed 2019 strong -- three 100-yard games to end the season and 25/506/5 over his final five games. That end-of-season success exceeded his production as a Jet (30/505/3) in 2020. The former first-round pick will play for his fifth team in as many seasons, but he's as good of a bet as any of the team's other wide receivers to lead the position group in target share. That alone makes him a last-round dart throw to consider.

Tyrell Williams: Like Perriman, Williams is a wideout that has had some success elsewhere that will play a heavy amount of snaps by default. Williams broke out in 2016 (69/1,059/7), but he has hovered in the 651-728 yardage range since then excluding last season's injured campaign (shoulder).

TIGHT ENDS

Darren Fells19.3201.81.300037.63
Alize Mack5.553.10.30009.86

T.J. Hockenson: Hockenson basically doubled up his rookie production with 67 catches for 723 yards and six touchdowns. Given the turnover of the wide receiver corps, Hockenson could be forced into an even higher-volume role in 2021.

Fantasy Football Mock Draft 2021: Half-PPR, 12 Teams, 9th Pick

Half-PPR Mock Draft: 12 Teams, 9th Pick

1.09 - Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers

Not only did Adams miss two games in 2020, but he has missed multiple games in three of his past four seasons. Even so, the seven-year veteran led the NFL in receiving touchdowns (18) and yards per game (98.1) and also set a career high in receptions (115). With double-digit touchdowns in four of five seasons, Adams has a total of 58 scores in 71 games over that span. With Aaron Rodgers still playing at an MVP level, Adams is the clear choice to be drafted as fantasy's WR1 (as long as Rodgers is under center for the Packers) in 2021.

More: Green Bay Packers 2022 NFL Mock Draft Roundup

2.04 - Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Missing a significant chunk of time due to injury and playing at less than 100 percent when returning to the field, Ekeler averaged 5.5 yards per touch and scored only three touchdowns, both of which were career lows. Especially given his immense upside as a receiver, Ekeler is a top-12 running back when healthy.

3.09 - D'Andre Swift, RB, Detroit Lions

Swift was much more involved in the second half of the season and he finished his rookie campaign with 114/521/8 (4.6 YPC) rushing and 46/357/2 (7.8 Y/R) receiving. Swift had three-plus catches in 12 of 13 games and his ability as a receiver gives him the upside to outperform his draft slot.

4.04 - Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams

It was a disappointing season for Woods and the Rams offense in general. Woods tied a career high in receptions (90), but his receiving yardage (936) and yards from scrimmage (1,091) were three-year lows. Replacing Jared Goff with Matthew Stafford generates some optimism for all of the skill-position players.

More: Los Angeles Rams 2021 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

5.09 - Kenny Golladay, WR, New York Giants

Golladay exceeded the 1,000-yard milestone in back-to-back seasons (2018 and 2019) with the Lions and led the NFL in receiving touchdowns (11) in 2019. Although 2020 was a lost season due to a hip injury, Golladay had either 50-plus yards and a score or 100-plus yards in the four games he played before sustaining the injury. Signing a four-year deal with the Giants, the QB downgrade from Matthew Stafford to Daniel Jones and more crowded receiver room limits his ceiling a bit, but he's still a solid No. 3 fantasy wide receiver for this team.

6.04 - Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Andrews missed a couple of games and Marquise Brown (58/769/8) outproduced Andrews (58/701/7) over the full season, but the third-year tight end led the team in YPG (50.1). Even if he gets the biggest slice of the pie, the team's passing offense ranked last in the NFL (171.2 YPG) in 2020.

7.09 - Russell Wilson, QB, Seattle Seahawks

It was a tale of two seasons for Wilson. In his first eight games, Wilson averaged 29.52 fantasy points per game and scored no fewer than 21.9. In his final eight games, he averaged only 17.08 and scored more than 21.9 only once during that span.

Despite Pete Carroll's prioritization to establish the run, Wilson has never finished worse than the QB11 (2016) and has finished as a top-six fantasy quarterback in five of the past seven seasons. While the Titans may be the "favorites," the Seahawks are also in the mix for a potential Julio Jones trade.

More: Seattle Seahawks 2021 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

8.04 - Ronald Jones, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs re-signing Leonard Fournette likely slides Jones back into his secondary role behind Fournette. Despite missing a couple of games and the fact that Fournette emerged as the team's primary back, Jones had his best season as a pro with career highs as a runner -- 192 carries, 978 yards, 5.1 YPC and seven touchdowns. RoJo took a step back as a receiver, however, with a 66.7% catch rate (77.5% in 2019) and 5.9 Y/R (10.0 in 2019).

9.09 - Kenyan Drake, RB, Las Vegas Raiders

Josh Jacobs and Drake combined for a total of 570 touches last season as lead backs of their respective teams and that combined number will (obviously!) drop significantly. The Raiders plan to use Drake in a variety of ways including at receiver, but Drake shouldn't be drafted as anything more than a flex option in 2021. His value as my RB4 in Round 9 is certainly fair, though.

More: Las Vegas Raiders 2022 NFL Mock Draft Roundup

10.04 - Mike Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

In 2018, Williams had 10 touchdowns. In 2019, he led the NFL with 20.4 Y/R and posted his first (and only) 1,000-yard season. Not only were overall numbers (48/756/5) disappointing, but he had only four top-36 performances (half-PPR) out of his 15 games last season.

11.09 - Jamaal Williams, RB, Detroit Lions

In his four NFL seasons, Williams has averaged 736.5 scrimmage yards, 155.5 touches and 30.5 receptions per season with the Packers. While he remains his team's RB2 (to D'Andre Swift instead of Aaron Jones), Williams should get 8-10 touches per game even with both Swift and Williams healthy. For this team, he provides some insurance in case Swift misses any time.

12.04 - Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals

With DeAndre Hopkins dominating targets, Kirk's targets dropped from 108 (8.31/G) in 2019 to 79 (5.64/G) in 2020. The vast majority of his fantasy production including all of his touchdowns occurred during a five-game stretch from Weeks 4-9 (20/343/6, 17.15 Y/R, WR7). While Larry Fitzgerald has not yet retired, the team has signed A.J. Green and drafted Rondale Moore, which means that Kirk's 2021 numbers are unlikely to improve much from last season.

More: 2022 NFL Mock Draft

13.09 - Marlon Mack, RB, Indianapolis Colts

Mack missed nearly all of 2020 with a torn Achilles, but he has re-signed with the Colts this offseason. For this team, he is purely a bench stash that would need an injury to Jonathan Taylor to become a useful fantasy option.

14.04 - Baltimore Ravens DST, DST, Baltimore Ravens

15.09 - Justin Tucker, K, Baltimore Ravens

16.04 - Robert Tonyan, TE, Green Bay Packers

Entering 2020 with 14 career receptions, Tonyan scored nearly as many touchdowns (12 counting the playoffs) as he had career receptions prior to last season. While teammate Davante Adams led the NFL with 18 touchdown receptions, Tonyan's 11 regular-season scores tied a position high with Travis Kelce. The biggest threat to Tonyan's 2021 outlook is the offseason drama between the Packers and Aaron Rodgers.
