Our Fantasy Football Projections will be viewable by both position and team.

QUARTERBACKS

Brian Hoyer51.433.9359.81.951.186.46.40.0620.83

Jimmy Garoppolo: Replacing Derek Carr with Jimmy Garoppolo is a lateral move, at best, for the Raiders and the offense's outlook overall. From a fantasy perspective, Jimmy G. offers no upside as a runner and is a middling QB2, at best.

RUNNING BACKS

Josh Jacobs: Jacobs led the NFL in rushing yards (1,653), yards from scrimmage (2,053) and touches (393) in 2022. He dominated the team's running back touches, as the rest of the team's backs had a total of 77 (16.4%). In addition, Jacobs averaged a career-high 4.9 YPC and has now exceeded 50 catches in back-to-back seasons. While there was plenty of offseason drama around his status, Jacobs is back in the building on a one-year, $12 million contract.

MORE: Josh Jacobs 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook

Zamir White: White, a fourth-round pick in 2022, played much less than expected during his rookie season (17 carries in 2022). The Athletic's Tashan Reed wrote in June that "the Raiders may call on White to balance out the workload a bit more in 2023." Even though Jacobs is back, White is a late-round sleeper worth stashing on your fantasy bench(es).

DeAndre Carter3.337.70.20006.62
Kristian Wilkerson2.833.20.20005.92

Davante Adams: In his first season without Aaron Rodgers, Adams was targeted a career-high 180 times and finished with 100 catches for 1,516 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns. Adams remains (one of) the league's best red zone weapon with double-digit touchdowns in six of the past seven seasons.

Jakobi Meyers: Meyers finished with 67 catches for 804 yards and six touchdowns in 2022 as he averaged a career-high 57.4 YPG. Given his familiarity with the offense and that Darren Waller is now a Giant, Meyers should rank (albeit a distant) second on the team in receiving, producing flex numbers in 2023.

TIGHT ENDS

Austin Hooper32.1332.21.900060.67

Michael Mayer: While he's not an elite athlete, Mayer is a savvy route-runner with strong hands who led Notre Dame in receiving all three years he was in South Bend. His all-around skill set could accelerate his adjustment to the NFL.

Austin Hooper: Hooper was a top-10 fantasy tight end in back-to-back seasons in 2018 and 2019, respectively, but that feels like an eternity ago. The Raiders drafted Michael Mayer in the second round, and although rookie tight ends tend to start slowly, Mayer is clearly their tight end of the future.

Jimmy Garoppolo: Replacing Derek Carr with Jimmy Garoppolo is a lateral move, at best, for the Raiders and the offense's outlook overall. There are some concerns about Garoppolo's foot following surgery in March as well. Even when healthy, he offers no upside as a runner and is a middling QB2 for fantasy purposes.

He dominated the team's running back touches, as the rest of the team's backs had a total of 77 (16.4%). (How much more involved will Zamir White be in 2023?) In addition, Jacobs averaged a career-high 4.9 YPC and has now exceeded 50 catches in back-to-back seasons. Jacobs has yet to sign his franchise tag, however, and it's unclear when he will.

Zamir White: White, a fourth-round pick in 2022, played much less than expected during his rookie season (17 carries in 2022). The Athletic's Tashan Reed writes that "the Raiders may call on White to balance out the workload a bit more in 2023." Especially if Jacobs and the Raiders don't agree to a long-term extension, White will be a sleeper to target near the end of fantasy drafts.

Austin Hooper: Hooper was a top-10 fantasy tight end in back-to-back seasons in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Playing for his fourth team in five years, Hooper has a chance to lead the position group in fantasy production, but he's unlikely to have any fantasy relevance outside of deep TE-premium leagues. The Raiders drafted Michael Mayer in the second round, and although rookie tight ends tend to start slowly, he's the tight end of the future.

Michael Mayer: While he's not an elite athlete, Mayer is a savvy route-runner with strong hands who led Notre Dame in receiving all three years he was in South Bend. His all-around skill set could accelerate his adjustment to the NFL.

Jarrett Stidham42.227291.21.771.313.73.70.0416.72

Derek Carr: Perennially undervalued, Carr has been one of my favorite targets in 2-QB leagues given his relatively high floor as a second quarterback. Since entering the league in 2014, Carr has never finished worse than QB20 and he's finished as a top-half QB2 (QB13-QB18) or better in six of the past seven seasons with the exception being a QB19 finish in 2017. Reunited with his former Fresno State teammate (Davante Adams), Carr may not be drafted as a top-12 quarterback, but there's a good chance that he finishes that way.

RUNNING BACKS

Brandon Bolden22.999.60.696.250.40.424.64
Jakob Johnson2.36.90.064.129.80.37.88

Josh Jacobs: Jacobs set career lows in rush attempts (217) and rushing yards (872) but career highs in targets (64), receptions (54) and receiving yards (348) in 2021. Through three seasons, Jacobs has yet to finish worse than RB18 in half-PPR scoring, but a new coaching staff is likely to use more of a "situational committee" at the position.

Zamir White: The Raiders used a fourth-round pick on White, who would likely handle the majority of early-down work if Jacobs were to miss any time. Although Ameer Abdullah and Brandon Bolden will be part of a committee approach, White is a late-round sleeper worth stashing in all of your fantasy drafts.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Davante Adams: In 30 games over the past two seasons, Adams hauled in 238 receptions for 2,927 yards and 29 touchdowns for the Packers. Adams has scored double-digit touchdowns in five of the past six seasons. While he's reunited with his former collegiate quarterback, the downgrade from Aaron Rodgers to Derek Carr and increased competition for targets means that Adams is now a WR1, as opposed to the WR1.

Hunter Renfrow: Renfrow crushed previous career highs with 103 catches for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns on 128 targets in 2021. Carr and Renfrow have developed tremendous chemistry, but the addition of Adams makes repeating those numbers extremely difficult.

Jacob Hollister2.122.90.10003.94

Darren Waller: One of the most dynamic mismatches at his position, Waller had a massive 27.7% target share in his last full season (2020). While he missed six games in 2021, he has averaged 69.9 yards per game since 2019. Given the Raiders traded for Davante Adams this offseason, however, Waller's days of oversized target shares are likely over.

Kenyan Drake: Both Jacobs and Drake are entering contract years, and there's a good chance that neither will be on the roster in 2023. While the Raiders will employ a committee approach in the backfield, Drake has the versatility to be used in a James White-type role for McDaniels.

Zamir White: The Raiders used a fourth-round pick on White, who would likely handle the majority of early-down work if Jacobs were to miss any time. Green Bay Packers Week 3 NFL Power Rankings Roundup

Throughout the 2021 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Green Bay Packers rank in terms of average, best and worst:

  • Average ranking: 10.2 (T-10th)
  • Best ranking: 6th (NFL.com)
  • Worst ranking: 16th (CBS Sports)

Below you will find a Week 3 roundup for the Packers in our consensus 2021 NFL Power Rankings.

ESPN -- Rank: 11

Fantasy surprise: Davante Adams

How is Adams a surprise? Well, only because everyone in the league knows Aaron Rodgers is going to do everything he can to get Adams the ball. Adams was the Packers' only productive player in the season-opening loss to the Saints. The Lions had to watch how the Saints doubled Adams whenever possible, but as Adams said last week, "Not every double-team is going to be successful." Adams' 100-yard game against the Lions on Monday night was the 24th of his career, the fourth most for the Packers during the Super Bowl era. -- Rob Demovsky

NFL.com -- Rank: 6

Forget R-E-L-A-X. Halfway through Monday night's matchup against the Lions, it was time for the Packers to W-A-K-E-U-P. Of course, they did, scoring touchdowns on their first three possessions of the second half en route to a 35-17 win. Aaron Rodgers got right after Week 1's stunning no-show in New Orleans, throwing four touchdown passes -- three to Aaron Jones (who had four touchdowns total). The defense also tightened up, shutting out Detroit in the second half while forcing a pair of turnovers. Packers World has been properly recalibrated, but another big test looms on Sunday night in San Francisco.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 7

Now that's the Packers offense we expected to see in their blowout victory over Lions. When Aaron Jones is running like he did Monday night, they will be tough to stop. Now see if they can do it against the 49ers.

USA Today -- Rank: 16

QB Aaron Rodgers and RB Aaron Jones both accounted for four touchdowns -- yes, the math works given they hooked up on a trio of TD passes -- as Green Bay gets right on Monday night.

The Athletic -- Rank: 11

That's the Aaron Rodgers we all know and love, right? His 50-yard dime to Davante Adams followed by a 22-yard touchdown rocket to Robert Tonyan three plays later were vintage Rodgers. Do we need to see Rodgers be Rodgers against a defense other than the Lions, considering this past offseason and what happened in the opener? Maybe, but from the second quarter on, Rodgers reminded everyone why the Packers are still the class of the NFC North. The Pack don't get a five, though, because of the uncertain future.

Fantasy Football Projections 2021: Green Bay Packers

Our 2021 Fantasy Football Projections will be viewable by both position and team.

Below you will find our 2021 fantasy football projections for the Green Bay Packers.

MORE: Fantasy football projections for more NFL teams

QUARTERBACKS

PlayerAtt.Comp.YardsTDINTRushYardsTDPoints

Aaron Rodgers: While "his future [was] in Jeopardy," the offseason drama between Rodgers and the Packers front office is now fortunately behind us (at least until next offseason). The reigning and three-time MVP, Rodgers led the NFL in completion percentage (70.7%), passing touchdowns (48, 9.1%) and passer rating (121.5) last season. All of those were either career highs or the second-best of his Hall-of-Famer career. That said, it would be unrealistic to expect him to duplicate last year's 9.1 TD%, nearly double his rate from 2019 (4.6%) and much higher than his career average (6.3%).

RUNNING BACKS

Kylin Hill22.395.90.52.418.70.116.26

Aaron Jones: One year after leading the NFL in touchdowns (19, 2019), Jones averaged a career-high 5.89 yards per touch for the league's top-scoring offense. Through four NFL seasons, Jones has averaged at least 5.5 yards per carry in three of them. Even though he missed two games and scored eight fewer touchdowns in 2020, he has finished as a top-five fantasy running back in consecutive seasons.

A.J. Dillon: With 21/124/2 against the Titans in Week 16, fantasy managers got a glimpse of what Dillon could do in a lead-back role. With Aaron Jones re-upping with the Packers, however, that won't happen as long as Jones is on the field. Unlike Jamaal Williams, who's now in Detroit, Dillon isn't much of a receiver out of the backfield, but his upside is through the roof if Jones were to miss any time.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Amari Rodgers21233.31.33.623.40.0744.39
Malik Taylor1.8210.20004.2

Davante Adams: Not only did Adams miss two games in 2020, but he has missed multiple games in three of his past four seasons. Even so, the seven-year veteran led the NFL in receiving touchdowns (18) and yards per game (98.1) and also set a career high in receptions (115). With double-digit touchdowns in four of five seasons, Adams has a total of 58 scores in 71 games over that span. With Aaron Rodgers still playing at an MVP level, Adams moves back into the WR1 spot with the Rodgers drama behind us.

Randall Cobb: Naturally, Cobb is excited to reunite with Rodgers and the Packers. In his previous three seasons in Green Bay, however, Cobb averaged only 46.9 (2016), 43.5 (2017) and 42.6 (2018), respectively. That said, he's likely to rank second behind Adams among the team's receivers in target share.

Allen Lazard: Even if Lazard emerges as the team's second-most productive fantasy receiver after Davante Adams, he's unlikely to be a consistent fantasy performer.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling: A big play waiting to happen, Valdes-Scantling led the NFL in Y/R (20.9) last season and had a career high in yards (690) and touchdowns (six). On the other hand, MVS had five games with no catches and two games with only one catch despite Rodgers playing at an MVP level. Fantasy managers should expect some boom and bust weeks from MVS.

Amari Rodgers: Earlier this offseason, The Athletic's Matt Schneidman dubbed Rodgers as the team's breakout candidate for 2021. Coincidentally, Tee Martin (Rodgers' father) coached former (and again current) Packer receiver Randall Cobb at Kentucky. With Cobb returning to Green Bay, that almost certainly postpones that breakout until 2022.

TIGHT ENDS

Dominique Dafney1.616.30.10003.03

Robert Tonyan: Entering 2020 with only 14 career receptions, Tonyan nearly scored as many touchdowns (12 counting the playoffs) as he had career receptions prior to last season. While teammate Davante Adams led the NFL with 18 touchdown receptions, Tonyan's 11 regular-season scores tied a position high with Travis Kelce.

2021 Fantasy Football Half-PPR Mock Draft: 12 Teams, 9th Pick

The best way to become good at something is to practice. So, what should you do if you want to draft a better fantasy football team?

Practice, of course!

Leading up to the start of the 2021 NFL season, we will use the 2021 Fantasy Football Mock Draft Simulator (powered by FantasyPros) to complete fantasy football mock drafts.

We will use a variety of scoring formats -- PPR, half-PPR, standard scoring and even 2-QB leagues, league sizes and draft slots. The goal is to give you a good representation of the team that you may be able to construct given your league settings and the rationale of why we made the picks we did.

+ Our mocks will be tracked here: Fantasy Football Mock Drafts.

That said, nothing beats practicing yourself so (check out the simulator) and complete a mock in a matter of minutes.

Half-PPR Mock Draft: 12 Teams, 9th Pick

1.09 - Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers

Not only did Adams miss two games in 2020, but he has missed multiple games in three of his past four seasons.

2.04 - Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Missing a significant chunk of time due to injury and playing at less than 100 percent when returning to the field, Ekeler averaged 5.5 yards per touch and scored only three touchdowns, both of which were career lows. With Joe Lombardi coming over from New Orleans to run the offense, Ekeler's immense receiving upside makes him a top-10 back across all formats and an upside second-round pick here.

3.09 - Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Football Team

While the team's quarterback play hasn't done him many favors, McLaurin managed to set career highs with 87 catches and 1,118 yards in his second season. While his Y/R dipped from 15.8 to 12.9, he set career highs in YPG (74.5) and catch rate (64.9%). Even though WFT didn't draft a QB in April, signing Ryan Fitzpatrick in free agency boosts McLaurin's outlook and he's a top-eight option in my rankings.

4.04 - Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams

It was a relatively disappointing season for Woods and the Rams offense in general. Woods tied a career high in receptions (90), but his receiving yardage (936) and yards from scrimmage (1,091) were three-year lows. Replacing Jared Goff with Matthew Stafford generates some optimism for all of the skill-position players.

5.09 - Mike Davis, RB, Atlanta Falcons

Filling in for a mostly-injured Christian McCaffrey in 2020, Davis performed as a top-15 (half-PPR) fantasy running back last season. Limited competition for running back touches makes Davis a back-end RB2/flex option in 2021 with Arthur Smith taking over as Atlanta's head coach.

6.04 - Russell Wilson, QB, Seattle Seahawks

It was a tale of two seasons for Wilson. In his first eight games, Wilson averaged 29.52 fantasy points per game and scored no fewer than 21.9. In his final eight games, he averaged only 17.08 and scored more than 21.9 only once during that span.

Despite Pete Carroll's prioritization to establish the run, Wilson has never finished worse than the QB11 (2016) and has finished as a top-six fantasy quarterback in five of the past seven seasons.

7.09 - Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos

Even though he was the third back off the board in the 2021 NFL Draft, some teams viewed Williams as "best back in the draft." With the Broncos moving up to get in front of the Dolphins to select Williams, it's likely that he emerges as the team's lead back sooner rather than later. The 20-year-old back is a tackle-breaking machine.

8.04 - James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Joining the Cardinals on a one-year deal, Conner will steal some early-down carries from Chase Edmonds and could potentially be in a fairly even split. If he can stay healthy and earn a larger role, there is plenty of upside for Conner as well (as Edmonds).

More: Chase Edmonds 2021 Fantasy Football Outlook

9.09 - Jamaal Williams, RB, Detroit Lions

In his four NFL seasons, Williams has averaged 736.5 scrimmage yards, 155.5 touches and 30.5 receptions per season with the Packers. While he remains his team's RB2 (to D'Andre Swift instead of Aaron Jones), Williams should get 8-10 touches per game even with both Swift and Williams healthy.

More: Fantasy Football Sleepers

10.04 - Tony Pollard, RB, Dallas Cowboys

Even though he played fewer than 50% of the team's offensive snaps in all but one game (Week 15, 90%), Pollard had at least eight touches in 10 of the team's final 12 games. Assuming good health for Dak Prescott and the offensive line, 8-10 weekly touches in this offense could lead to stand-alone flex value for Pollard on a weekly basis.

11.09 - Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens

Brown's catch rate (58.0%) and yards per target (7.7) dropped in 2020 from his rookie season of 64.8% and 8.2 Y/T, respectively. Since he played a full 16-game season, however, his overall numbers (58/769/8) improved last season. Landing three of my top-13 receivers as starters, Brown is a high-upside option as a bye-week fill-in during those three weeks.

More: NFL Predictions 2021: AFC North

12.04 - Tyler Higbee, TE, Los Angeles Rams

The fifth-year tight end saw a year-over-year dip in targets (60), receptions (44) and yards (521), but he did set a career high in touchdowns (five). With Gerald Everett signing with Seattle and the team trading for Matthew Stafford, there is optimism for improved numbers from Higbee.

More: 10 Undervalued Players in 2021 Fantasy Football Drafts

13.09 - Darrel Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Williams is a high-upside handcuff for Clyde Edwards-Helaire. If CEH were to miss any time, Williams would immediately become an RB2 in Kansas City's high-powered offense.

14.04 - 49ers DST, San Francisco 49ers

15.09 - Harrison Butker, K, Kansas City Chiefs

16.04 - Cole Kmet, TE, Chicago Bears

Down the stretch, Kmet leapfrogged Jimmy Graham on the depth chart based on snaps played. In addition, the rookie out of Notre Dame averaged 6.0 targets per game over his five final regular-season games. There is some potential for Kmet to have a breakout sophomore campaign.
