Marcus Mariota: Good news first: Mariota enters 2022 as the starter for the Falcons. The bad news? There's a strong chance that Desmond Ridder makes starts at some point this season. Mariota is off the fantasy radar in single-QB re-draft leagues, but his ability as a runner -- 264/1,574/13 (6.0 YPC) career rushing -- gives him some upside in daily fantasy tournaments, when starting.

Cordarrelle Patterson: Perhaps unfair to refer to him as an age-30 breakout (since he was a four-time first-team All-Pro as a returner before 2021), but in terms of fantasy/offensive output, 2021 was by far Patterson's best. C-Patt shattered previous career highs with 205 touches, 1,166 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2021. While I like Tyler Allgeier as a sleeper, the Falcons waited until the 151st pick to draft him. In other words, Patterson remains the team's RB1.

Tyler Allgeier: The draft pedigree (fifth round) doesn't scream featured back, but he has the frame (5' 11", 224 pounds), power and vision to shoulder a heavy workload. A former linebacker (26 tackles in 2019 at BYU) as well, Allgeier was highly productive over the past two seasons with 2,731 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns over that stretch.

Drake London: With Calvin Ridley suspended and Russell Gage now in Tampa, London, the eighth overall pick in 2022, is the clear top wide receiver in Atlanta for the 2022 season. A former dual-sport athlete with basketball at USC, London knows how to use his large frame and wide catch radius to win at the catch point. One of the youngest prospects in this year's draft class (turned 21 in July), London hauled in 88 receptions for 1,084 yards and seven touchdowns in just eight games last year before a broken ankle prematurely ended his season.

Kyle Pitts: Scoring only one touchdown in 2021 was a bummer for fantasy managers, but Pitts is now one of only two tight ends in NFL history to reach 1,000 yards as a rookie. The former Gator creates matchup nightmares for opposing defenders and has the talent to finish as fantasy's TE1 overall as a sophomore (even if we have Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews ranked ahead of him).

San Francisco 49ers Fantasy Football Projections 2022

Trey Lance: The assumption all offseason and training camp was that Jimmy Garoppolo would play elsewhere in 2022. While the 49ers and Jimmy G. agreed to a restructured contract, he goes into the season as the team's No. 2 behind Lance (and the league's highest-paid backup). If things go right, Lance has enormous upside given his dual-threat skill set. If things don't go as well as expected, however, how long of a leash will Lance get before the team makes a quarterback change?

Elijah Mitchell: Mitchell missed six games as a rookie, but he was the clear lead back when he was on the field. Counting three playoff games, Mitchell had a minimum in 17 carries in 11 of 14 games in 2021. (Mitchell had 68.3% of the non-QB carries in those other three games.) ESPN's Nick Wagoner noted earlier this offseason that the 49ers "injury concerns about Mitchell are real" and he missed the preseason with a hamstring injury.

Jeff Wilson: Given that a different player has led the 49ers in rushing in each of Kyle Shanahan's five seasons as head coach, it's never a bad idea to throw a late-round dart at the team's projected RB2. Perhaps Tyrion Davis-Price, the team's third-round pick, moves up the depth chart, but it was Wilson that started the team's preseason finale with Mitchell sidelined.

Deebo Samuel: After missing nine games in 2020, Samuel had a breakout campaign (77/1,405/6 receiving and 59/365/8 rushing) in 2021. With a new contract extension in hand, the versatile wideout said he's not opposed to his hybrid "wide back" role. Samuel's physical play style and role puts him at increased risk for injury, but the do-it-all talent is a top-five receiver whenever he's on the field.

Brandon Aiyuk: Aiyuk exceeded 15 receiving yards in only two of his first six games last season and totalled only 9/96/1 receiving during that span. That said, he was much more productive and consistent from Week 8 on, as he closed the season with 47/730/4 over the final 11 games of the season. The upside is there for Aiyuk to vastly outperform his current ADP.

George Kittle: Since his second season (2018), Kittle has averaged a 17-game pace of 95/1,299/6. While he's missed at least two games in three consecutive seasons, he's averaged 86.1, 75.2, 79.3 and 65.0 yards per game over the past four seasons, respectively. Given that he's arguably the most talented all-around tight end in the league, Kittle has had a relatively high share of duds (example: 2/21, 1/29 and 5/10 over the final three weeks, respectively) to go along with some monster outings (9/181/2 and 13/151/1 in back-to-back weeks last year). Despite some week-to-week volatility and shaky durability history, he's a top-five fantasy option, at worst.

Denver Broncos Fantasy Football Projections 2022

Russell Wilson: Wilson missed three games in 2021, his first season finishing outside the top 11 fantasy quarterbacks. While the Seahawks never seemed to want to let Russ cook, Nathaniel Hackett has taken an opposite approach. Denver's new head coach has said about the pace of play, "as fast as [Wilson] wants to go, I want to go." Barring injury, Wilson should once again finish as a top-12 fantasy quarterback in 2022.

Javonte Williams: Sharing the load evenly with Melvin Gordon, Williams racked up 1,219 yards from scrimmage and scored seven touchdowns on 246 touches as a rookie in 2021. With MG3 re-signing on a one-year deal with the Broncos, it delivers a bit of a blow to Williams' upside (until 2023), but Gordon himself has said that the team wants Williams "to be the guy."

Melvin Gordon: Williams (14.47) edged Gordon (14.44) in touches per game, but Gordon missed one game (Week 13) and Williams had 29 touches for 178 yards and a touchdown in that outing. While the Broncos want Williams "to be the guy" and the workload will favor Denver's second-year back, Gordon should get enough work to put him into flex consideration.

Courtland Sutton: Sutton broke out in his second season (2019) with 72 catches for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns, but then he tore his ACL at the beginning of the 2020 season. Given Wilson's accuracy as a deep passer, Sutton could be positioned to have the best season of his career. The 6-foot-4 receiver has averaged 15.2 yards per reception so far in his career.

Jerry Jeudy: It's an understatement to say that Jeudy's fantasy trajectory is pointing upward following Denver's trade for Russell Wilson. The former first-round pick entered the NFL as a polished route-runner, but he produced two seasons of modest (disappointing) production in part due to the team's poor quarterback play. Entering his age-23 season, Jeudy is poised for a breakout season, barring injury.

Albert Okwuegbunam: Okwuegbunam finished his second season with 33 catches for 330 yards and two touchdowns. With Noah Fant now in Seattle and Greg Dulcich out for at least the first four games, Albert O. has plenty of upside in what should be a much better offense in 2022 with Russell Wilson under center.

Greg Dulcich: The season-ending injury to Tim Patrick seemed as though it would create more opportunities for Dulcich, but the former Bruin will miss at least the first four games of the season as he starts his NFL career on short-term IR. A former walk-on wide receiver that converted to tight end at UCLA, Dulcich is a threat to make plays down the field as he averaged 18.26 yards per reception over his past two seasons at UCLA combined (68/1,242/10).

Jared Goff: Goff isn't much more than a back-end QB2 in two-QB or Super Flex formats, but he has a better offensive supporting cast around him this year when everyone is healthy. Not only did the Lions sign D.J. Chark to a one-year deal in free agency, but they traded up to draft this year's biggest home run threat (Jameson Williams) as well.

D'Andre Swift: Swift has played exactly 13 games in each of his first two seasons, but he offers plenty of upside if he can stay healthy given his versatile skill set. Despite missing four games in 2021, Swift had 62 catches for 452 yards and two touchdowns in addition to a 151/617/5 rushing line. Swift was 12th in half-PPR fantasy points per game in 2021.

Jamaal Williams: Like Swift, Williams missed four games in 2021 but set a career high in rushing yards (601) and tied a career high in rush attempts (153). While his targets per game (2.15) was near a career low, he set a career high in catch rate (92.9%) and finished with 2.0 receptions per game, his career average.

Amon-Ra St. Brown: St. Brown was highly productive as a fourth-round rookie, as the former USC Trojan finished 2021 with 90 catches (T-15th) for 912 yards (30th) and five touchdowns on 119 targets (26th). With the Lions dealing with injuries to other pass catchers down the stretch, St. Brown converted 67 targets into 51 receptions for 560 yards and scored all five of his touchdowns over the final six games of the season. Only Cooper Kupp scored more fantasy points than St. Brown over that span.

D.J. Chark: Signing a one-year deal to play for the Lions, Chark missed nearly all of the 2021 season, but the former Jag has a 1,000-yard season (73/1,008/8 in 2019) under his belt. He's developed good chemistry with Jared Goff leading into the season.

Jameson Williams: If it weren't for a torn ACL at the end of the season, Williams could have possibly been the first receiver off the board in the 2022 NFL Draft. With his elite speed and quickness, Williams is a threat to take it to the house any time he touches the ball. Williams begins the season on the reserve/NFI list, which means he'll miss a minimum of four games, but his rehab is going well and "could accelerate" his return from what was initially expected.

T.J. Hockenson: Hockenson missed five games last season, but he set per-game career highs in receptions (5.1) and yards (48.6) as well as catch rate (72.6%). Given the additions to the receiving corps (D.J. Chark and Jameson Williams), Jared Goff won't need to rely as heavily on Hockenson this year.

Tennessee Titans Fantasy Football Projections 2022

Ryan Tannehill: As disappointing of a year as it was for Tannehill, he still finished as fantasy's QB12 in 2021. Tannehill posted three-year worsts in TD% (4.0), INT% (2.6), Y/A (7.0) and passer rating (89.6), but he rushed for seven scores for a second consecutive season. Especially with the Titans trading away A.J. Brown, Tannehill is better viewed as a QB2 than a back-end QB1.

Derrick Henry: Henry has never had 20 receptions in a season and more involvement in the passing game is preferred, but he finished as a top-three fantasy running back in half-PPR formats in both 2019 and 2020. Even with his limited receiving role, he finished no worse than RB5 in full PPR formats in his past two full seasons. His dominance as a rusher (303/1,540/16 and 378/2,207/17, respectively) more than compensates for a relatively modest receiving role.

Through Week 8 last season, Henry rushed for 219/937/10, equivalent to a 465/1,991/21 full-season pace, and was fantasy's RB1 across all scoring formats. One could argue that missing the final nine regular-season games last year boosts his outlook for 2022 given the heavy workloads he has shouldered over the past few seasons.

Robert Woods: Woods missed the second half of the 2021 season with a torn ACL, but he had more than 1,000 scrimmage yards in each of the previous three seasons. Over those three most recent full seasons, Woods has finished as fantasy's WR13 (2020), WR17 (2019) and WR10 (2018), respectively, in half-PPR formats. Now in Tennessee and returning from an ACL tear, a top-20 finish may not be in the cards for Woods, but I think there's a good chance that he turns out to be undervalued compared to his current ADP.

Treylon Burks: While he's even drawn some pre-draft comparisons to A.J. Brown, Burks is obviously a downgrade from Tennessee's former stud receiver in the immediate term. While he's not yet a polished route-runner, Burks, who has said that he models his game after Deebo Samuel, has the versatility to make an impact in a variety of ways. Consistency may be elusive as a rookie, but he should have a few big games in 2022.

Austin Hooper: Hooper's efficiency during two seasons as a Brown (9.3 Y/R, 6.0 Y/T and 64.3% catch rate) dropped considerably from his four years in Atlanta (10.5 Y/R, 8.1 Y/T and 77.3% catch rate). Not surprisingly, Hooper finished outside the top-20 fantasy tight ends in each of the past two seasons after a pair of top-10 fantasy seasons in 2018-19. Given that the Titans operate a run-heavy but still TE-friendly offense, Hooper offers some upside, especially for those in deeper TE-premium leagues.

Daniel Jones: Not only did Jones miss six games last season, but the team's top pass catchers missed plenty of time as well. Kenny Golladay (three), Kadarius Toney (seven), Evan Engram (two), Sterling Shepard (10), Darius Slayton (four) and Saquon Barkley (four) all missed multiple games in 2021. There is some optimism heading into 2022 if Jones and those around him can stay healthy with Brian Daboll taking over the offense. With exactly 1,000 rushing yards through three seasons, Jones' rushing ability is an underrated aspect of his fantasy profile as well.

Saquon Barkley: Barkley's biggest risk is his durability as he has missed a minimum of three games every season except for his rookie campaign (2018). Over the past two seasons, he has averaged only 63.3 scrimmage yards, 3.5 yards per carry and 4.9 yards per target with a total of four touchdowns in 15 games. That said, Barkley, who had 91 catches and a league-high 2,028 scrimmage yards as a rookie, should be more efficient with an improved offensive line and better coaching staff. Provided his health cooperates, he could vastly outperform his current ADP.

Kadarius Toney: Toney missed much of his rookie season (seven games) with a variety of ailments, but he flashed at times when he was on the field. It's certainly possible, perhaps likely, that he leads the receiving corps in fantasy production, but can he stay healthy?

Wan'Dale Robinson: While it seemed like a reach in April, the Giants new front office and coaching staff liked Robinson enough to use the 43rd overall pick on him. When NBC's Peter King attended Giants' camp, he wrote that Robinson "stood out" due to "his versatility and confidence." Given the concerns with the team's other three top receivers, Robinson could turn out to become a draft-day bargain for fantasy managers.

Kenny Golladay: Golladay set career lows in yards per game (37.2), yards per reception (14.1) and catch rate (48.7%) with zero touchdowns in 2021. Back in 2018-2019, Golladay had back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns while leading the NFL in receiving touchdowns (11) in 2019. ESPN's Jordan Raanan recently wrote that Golladay was "running routes this summer with the stiffness of a mannequin."

Sterling Shepard: Shepard tore his Achilles near the end of the 2021 season and although he returned to practice at the end of August, it's still unclear whether he'll be ready to go Week 1 against the Titans. Given the rapport that Jones has previously developed with Shepard, it wouldn't surprise me if he performed as the team's most consistent receiver at some point this season.

Daniel Bellinger: Entering his rookie season atop the depth chart, Bellinger should lead the tight end room in both target share and production in 2022. The former Aztec was under-utilized as a receiver at San Diego State, but he's an athletic tight end (4.63 40-yard dash at the combine) that could become a viable streamer for those in TE-premium formats.

Patrick Mahomes: Mahomes has been a top-four fantasy quarterback lock, when healthy. During his four seasons as a starter, he has finished as fantasy's QB1, QB7 (missed multiple games), QB4 and QB4, respectively. In four seasons as a starter, Mahomes has a 6.5 TD%, 1.6 INT% and 8.1 Y/A with a 17-game pace of 5,129 passing yards and 41.4 touchdowns. Losing Tyreek Hill will have an impact, but Mahomes should remain a top-four option.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Through two seasons, Edwards-Helaire has missed a total of 10 games including seven last season. The Chiefs signed Ronald Jones II this offseason and re-signed Jerick McKinnon, who handled double-digit carries in all three of the team's playoff games this past season. While the presence of RoJo and McKinnon may frustrate those that roster CEH, his ADP provides a reasonable draft-day cost to get exposure to the top back of one of the league's most potent offenses.

Ronald Jones: Jones' numbers in 2021 were (more than) halved from the prior season. Last season, Jones had only 111 touches for 492 scrimmage yards and eight touchdowns. Perhaps a change of scenery will serve him well, but he'll be competing with (and appears to be behind) Edwards-Helaire and McKinnon for snaps.

JuJu Smith-Schuster: Smith-Schuster missed 12 games last season and he's only averaged 8.6 and 6.2 yards per reception and target, respectively, over the past two seasons combined. While there's little chance that he posts a line similar to his sophomore campaign (111/1,426/7, 2018), he has an excellent chance to bounce back as the WR1 in Kansas City's high-powered offense.

Skyy Moore: Moore had a 95/1,292/10 line and PFF credited Moore with 26 broken tackles after the catch, which led FBS wide receivers. The former WMU Bronco should earn a more prominent role as the season progresses.

Mecole Hardman: Hardman set career highs in targets (83), receptions (59) and yards (693) last season, but he also set career lows in touchdowns (two) and Y/R (11.7). The speedy former second-round pick has an opportunity to build upon those numbers with Tyreek Hill in Miami, but he'll be competing with newcomers Smith-Schuster, Moore and Marquez Valdes-Scantling for targets.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling: A boom-or-bust type deep threat, Valdes-Scantling exceeded 20 receiving yards in fewer games (five) than he didn't (six games) in 2021. MVS's history of up-and-down performances is unlikely to change, which makes him a better option in best ball formats than regular season-long re-draft leagues.

Travis Kelce: In a down year, Kelce finished with 92 catches for 1,125 yards and nine touchdowns. The 32-year-old tight end now has six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with more than 90 catches in four straight. He's been either TE1 or TE2 for six consecutive seasons and he may even see a bump in target share with Tyreek Hill now in South Florida.

Matt Ryan: Ryan posted multi-year lows in TD% (3.6) and Y/A (7.1) in 2021, his age-36 season, and his QB19 fantasy finish was tied for the worst of his career. While he provides the Colts with an upgrade over Carson Wentz, Ryan isn't much more than a streaming option at this point of his career.

Jonathan Taylor: Taylor led the NFL in rush attempts (332), rushing yards (1,811) and rushing touchdowns (18) in addition to yards from scrimmage (2,171) and total touchdowns (20) in 2021. While he isn't as productive of a receiver as, say, Austin Ekeler or Christian McCaffrey (when healthy), he has a total of 76 catches for 659 yards over the past two seasons as well so he contributes in that aspect as well.

Nyheim Hines: As a change-of-pace option to Jonathan Taylor, Hines has a minimum of 40 catches in each of his four NFL seasons. That said, it would take an injury to Taylor for Hines to become a weekly play outside of bye weeks.

Michael Pittman Jr.: Pittman took a big step forward in his second season with a 25.7% target share and finished with 88 catches, 1,082 yards and six touchdowns. Finishing as a top-17 fantasy receiver across all scoring formats, Pittman has a chance to take another step forward in 2022.

Parris Campbell: The Colts drafted Campbell in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but he's managed to play only 15 games over the past three seasons. Can he reverse his bad luck in 2022 and stay healthy?

Alec Pierce: Pierce's combination of size (6' 3" and 213 pounds), speed (4.41 40-yard dash) and leaping ability (40.5" vertical jump) should lead to some big plays in the Colts offense. Especially given Campbell's durability history, the second-round receiver has a chance to make an immediate impact.

Mo Alie-Cox: Alie-Cox had 24 catches for 316 yards and four touchdowns last season, but there is a good chance that he's more involved in the passing game in 2022 following Jack Doyle's retirement this offseason. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he finished second among the team's receivers and tight ends in receiving.

Lamar Jackson: Missing five games in 2021, it's no surprise that Jackson's passing touchdowns dropped year over year from 26 (2020) to 16 (2021). That said, his TD% (4.2%) was also a three-year low and his INT% (3.4%) was a career high. Jackson didn't rush for 1,000 yards last season after doing so in each of the previous two seasons, but his 63.9 rushing YPG in 2021 still ranked top 12 in the NFL, regardless of position.

J.K. Dobbins: Not only did Dobbins miss all of 2021, but it's unclear if he'll be available for Week 1 even if John Harbaugh says he "looks better every day." Few teams, if any, will operate a more run-centric offense than the Ravens in 2022. Perhaps Lamar Jackson will lead the team in rushing for a fourth consecutive season, but Dobbins had 134 carries for 805 yards (6.0 YPC) and nine touchdowns as a rookie in 2020.

Kenyan Drake: With Gus Edwards on PUP and the early-season status of J.K. Dobbins uncertain, Drake signs with the Ravens at a point that could propel him (out of necessity) into a fairly large role to start the season. Even when the backfield is at full strength, Drake should maintain a significant role (at least) on passing downs.

Gus Edwards: Beginning the season on the PUP list, Edwards will miss at least the first four games of the season. Before missing the 2021 season, Edwards averaged a minimum of 5.0 YPC every year (three seasons) and has averaged more than 10 touches per game over his career.

Rashod Bateman: Bateman finished with a 46/515/1 line on 68 targets as a rookie after missing the first five games of the season. With Marquise Brown traded to Arizona, Bateman is the team's clear WR1 even if he's second in line for targets behind tight end Mark Andrews. The former first-round pick has plenty of breakout potential heading into his second season.

Mark Andrews: After back-to-back top-five seasons, Andrews led all tight ends in fantasy points across all scoring formats in 2021. The former third-rounder out of Oklahoma broke the Ravens franchise record for receptions (107) and receiving yards (1,361) and scored nine touchdowns last season. A model of consistency, Andrews finished top 10 in all three categories, regardless of position, and he had at least five targets and three catches in all 17 games last season.

Jalen Hurts: Hurts threw only 16 touchdowns in 2021, but only one quarterback -- Justin Herbert (12) -- had more QB1 weekly finishes last season than Hurts (11). Hurts was tied for second with Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady and Josh Allen. His elite rushing upside (10 rushing scores in 2021) matters more than his modest passing numbers, but the trade for A.J. Brown to join Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert should lead to more prolific passing stats in 2022.

Miles Sanders: Sanders has missed at least four games in back-to-back seasons and the hamstring injury that has sidelined him for the past several weeks will give fantasy managers additional pause. Over the past two seasons, however, Sanders has averaged 5.4 yards per carry on 301 rush attempts even though he's been less efficient as a receiver (6.6 Y/R, 62.8% catch rate). As his ADP continues to trend lower, it's creating an opportunity for those that draft/roster Sanders if they are "just being precautious."

A.J. Brown: While he missed four games in 2021, Brown's 105 targets were only one shy of his career high (106, 2020). That said, he posted career lows in receiving yards (869), yards per reception (13.8), yards per target (8.3) and touchdowns (five). Going from one run-centric offense in Tennessee to another in Philadelphia means that he will boost the fantasy value for Jalen Hurts more than the other way around.

DeVonta Smith: Smith had a productive rookie season (64/916/5), but the trade for A.J. Brown limits Smith's upside and potential to make a big second-year leap. Based on talent alone, however, he remains a solid WR3 in fantasy.

Dallas Goedert: Zach Ertz was traded in October, and Goedert had back-to-back 100-yard games in December. If it weren't for the addition of A.J. Brown, who I project to lead the team in receiving, Goedert would be poised for another big leap forward. Even though he's third in line for targets behind Brown and last year's first-round pick Devonta Smith and Philadelphia led the NFL in rushing play percentage (49.87%) last year, Goedert is a mid-tier TE1 in fantasy.
