Matthew Stafford529.2357.23863.225.6714.5538.997.31.17244.86
Stetson Bennett49.232341.92.021.288.621.50.2222.67

Matthew Stafford: There were concerns with Stafford and his elbow heading into the 2022 season, and the veteran quarterback managed to appear in only nine games due to a spinal cord contusion. Stafford threw 10 touchdowns (3.3 TD%, lowest since 2012) and eight interceptions and averaged 6.9 yards per attempt (lowest since 2018) with an 87.4 passer rating (lowest since 2014). The good news is that he's at full health this offseason. If he can stay healthy in 2023, how close will he be to the 2021 version who led the Rams to the Super Bowl and finished as a top-five fantasy quarterback?

RUNNING BACKS

Sony Michel54224.11.464.533.60.237.98

Cam Akers: While he missed nearly all of 2021 with a torn Achilles, Akers has gone from workhorse to the coach's doghouse and back to workhorse, when healthy. Much of Akers' 2022 production came in the final six weeks of the season when he finished with 104 carries for 512 yards (4.92 YPC) and six touchdowns and 11 receptions for 99 yards on 12 targets.

Kyren Williams: Small (5-9 and 194 pounds) and slow (4.65 40-yard dash) by NFL standards, Williams profiles as a change-of-pace option for Akers who has a shot to lead the team's running backs in receptions.

WIDE RECEIVERS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints

Puka Nacua8.8107.20.700019.32
Lance McCutcheon112.60.10002.36

Cooper Kupp: Kupp pulled off the rare triple crown of receiving in 2021, finishing with 145 catches for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns. While he missed roughly half of his follow-up season, the 2021 NFL Offensive Player of the Year had a better season than maybe most realized.

Who led ALL receivers in half-PPR fantasy points scored in 2022 on a per-game basis? Yep, it was Kupp — not Justin Jefferson, or any other receiver. Kupp will be at full strength heading into 2023, and he'll be someone I hope slips to me in drafts this year.

TIGHT ENDS

Brycen Hopkins7.484.10.600015.71
Davis Allen4.348.40.40009.39

Tyler Higbee: Higbee set career highs in targets (108, fourth-most among TEs) and receptions (72, fifth) in 2022. While Cooper Kupp missed nearly half of the season, Higbee's per-game numbers were better with Kupp (4.9/43 on 7.2 targets) than without Kupp (3.5/29 on 5.4 targets). At a position where volume is inconsistent outside of the elite options, there is plenty of value in the consistency of Higbee's volume.

Lamar Jackson513.8327.53750.726.9711.3115.9683.85.22335.01
Tyler Huntley57.137.4345.51.771.420.692.70.6231.09

Lamar Jackson: There is only one quarterback in NFL history with 25-plus passing touchdowns and 1,000-plus rushing yards in the same season, and that quarterback (Jackson) has done it twice. Of course, the biggest concern with Jackson is durability and the fact that he has missed five games in each of the past two seasons. The Ravens have signed Odell Beckham Jr. and drafted Zay Flowers in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft to bolster their receiving corps, and the dual-threat quarterback still has legitimate QB1 (overall) upside if he's able to stay healthy.

RUNNING BACKS

Patrick Ricard6.4160.1910.473.70.920.71

J.K. Dobbins: Dobbins has averaged a phenomenal 5.9 yards per carry, but he has played a total of 23 games through three seasons. (On a positive note, he's an extra year removed from a torn ACL that forced him to miss the enter 2021 season.) While Lamar Jackson's elite rushing threat can put tremendous strain on opposing defenses, the flip side is fewer targets and checkdowns to running backs as Dobbins has averaged only 1.39 targets and 1.09 receptions per game.

WIDE RECEIVERS

PlayerRec.YardsTDRushYardsTDPoints
Odell Beckham49.36394.23.6180.14116.39

Devin Duvernay8.290.10.65.236.40.2621.91
James Proche2.626.60.20005.16

Odell Beckham: Beckham Jr. started his career with three consecutive seasons of at least 90/1,300/10 and 1,000-plus yards in five of his first six seasons. That said, OBJ has a total of 856 receiving yards over the past three years, which includes none in 2022 as he recovered from his knee injury. Even if he leads the team's receivers in fantasy production, the range between the team's WR1 and WR3 could be very narrow, as I project.

Zay Flowers: Flowers was ultra-productive for Boston College despite poor quarterback play and opposing defenses knowing he was "the guy." He gives the offense a shot in the arm, even if there isn't enough targets to go around for him to make a consistent weekly fantasy impact as a rookie.

Rashod Bateman: Bateman has appeared in 18 (of 34 possible) career games, and he has posted a receiving line so far of 61/800/3. If he scored the fantasy equivalent of that line last season, he would have finished as fantasy's WR43 in half-PPR scoring. Add in more competition (Beckham and Flowers) and the likelihood of a Bateman breakout in 2023 is relatively low.

Charlie Kolar7.892.20.700017.32

Mark Andrews: Andrews missed a couple of games in 2022, and his year-over-year production declined to 73/847/5. Even so, Andrews scored the fourth-most half-PPR fantasy points (third on a PPG basis). The additions at wide receiver creates greater competition for targets, but he remains the clear top fantasy option in Baltimore's passing game.

Zach Wilson35.520.1252.10.920.994.319.40.2215.04

Aaron Rodgers: After winning back-to-back NFL MVP awards in 2020 and 2021, Rodgers numbers (without Davante Adams) were well below his career averages across the board in 2022 — 64.6% (65.3% career average), 4.8 TD% (6.2%), 2.2 INT% (1.4%), 6.8 Y/A (7.7) and 91.1 passer rating (103.6). Regardless of how long the next era of his career lasts, Rodgers joins a Jets team that has a better supporting cast than he had last year in Green Bay.

Israel Abanikanda41.1172.60.995.643.40.332.14

Breece Hall: Before Hall tore his ACL, his NFL career was off to a great start. The rookie from Iowa State averaged 5.8 yards per carry and 11.5 yards per reception through seven games. His workload had jumped considerably in Weeks 4-6 (61 touches) from Weeks 1-3 (34). Who knows how good his rookie season would have been if the injury hadn't happened? There are lots of reasons for fantasy managers to be excited about Hall's long-term outlook, but it wouldn't be a shock if he starts the 2023 season slowly as he works his way back from injury.

Michael Carter: Carter had double-digit touches in eight of the first nine games last season, but he had only 28 touches — 15 carries for 32 yards and 13 catches for 79 yards — over the final five games. Various other backs (Hall, James Robinson and Zonovan Knight) had games where they handled larger workloads than Carter, but he's a talented back, especially as a receiver, and Hall should be eased in slowly.

Zonovan Knight: Knight wasn't active until Week 12, but he handled 98 touches (85/300/1 rushing and 13/100 receiving) over the final seven games of the season.

Israel Abanikanda: NFL.com's Lance Zierlein comped Abanikanda to Kansas City's Isiah Pacheco, and it would be unreasonable to expect a similar rookie contribution from the fifth-round pick. That said, The Athletic's Zach Rosenblatt wrote after OTAs that Abanikanda "has the explosiveness and home-run ability to make an impact right away, and I think he will."

WIDE RECEIVERS

Randall Cobb16.9173.61.51.98.60.0435.91
Denzel Mims6.286.80.700015.98

Garrett Wilson: Despite poor quarterback play, Wilson was outstanding in 2022 as he finished with 83 receptions for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. More efficient quarterback play will definitely help Wilson, even though Rodgers' buddies (Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb) followed him to Florham Park.

Allen Lazard: Lazard posted career highs in targets (100), receptions (60) and yards (788) last season. Although Lazard edged his Packers teammate Christian Watson in fantasy points scored last season, both of whom finished as top-36 performers, Watson outscored him on a per-game basis. While he benefits from continuing to catch passes from Aaron Rodgers, there's a clear talent gap between Garrett Wilson and Lazard.

Mecole Hardman: Hardman has the potential to have an occasional big week, but he'll be hard to trust as the team's third receiver. He's never averaged more than 40.8 yards per game in his four seasons with Patrick Mahomes.

Jeremy Ruckert6.973.80.700015.03
Zack Kuntz2.330.40.20005.39

Tyler Conklin: Conklin followed up his breakout 2021 season (61/593/3, 87 targets) in Minnesota with nearly identical numbers (58/552/3, 87 targets) with the Jets last year. Given that the offense should be better in general in 2023, there's a chance that Conklin performs as a mid-tier TE2 once again.

C.J. Uzomah: After signing a free-agent deal with the Jets, Uzomah finished 2022 with a modest 21/232/2 stat line. Perhaps a new year with a new quarterback and offensive coordinator will be what Uzomah needs for a better season with Gang Green.

Jeremy Ruckert: The Athletic's Zach Rosenblatt called Ruckert "one of the biggest winners of OTAs." Meanwhile, coach Robert Saleh said that the third-round, second-year tight end "looks awesome."

C.J. Beathard36.622252.51.280.995.915.90.0615.19

Trevor Lawrence: What a difference a year (and a new coaching staff) made for Lawrence! The 2021 NFL Draft's top overall pick completed 66.3% of his pass attempts for 7.0 yards per attempt, while throwing 25 touchdowns and only seven interceptions in 2022. (That compares to 59.6%, 6.0 Y/A and 12:17 TD-INT ratio in 2021.) In fact, Lawrence improved considerably as the season progressed — 69.7% completion rate, 7.4 Y/A and a 15-to-two TD-INT ratio from Weeks 9-18. Bigger things could/should be in store for Lawrence in 2023, as Calvin Ridley joins Christian Kirk, coming off career numbers (84/1108/8 in 2022), Evan Engram, and Travis Etienne.

Travis Etienne: Although a Lisfranc injury delayed his NFL debut by a year, Etienne finished as fantasy's RB17 (half-PPR scoring) in 2022 with 220 carries for 1,125 yards and five touchdowns and 35 catches for 316 yards. It appears likely that the Jags will try to spread out running back touches more in 2023. Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union recently wrote that Tank Bigsby, the team's third-round pick, could even "out-touch him in some games depending on who has the hot hand."

Parker Washington12.2143.20.900025.82
Tim Jones2.428.60.30005.86

Calvin Ridley: Ridley broke out in 2020 with 90 catches for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns as he finished as fantasy's WR4 (half-PPR scoring). Since then, he served a year-long suspension in 2022 after posting career lows in yards per reception (9.1), yards per target (5.4) and catch rate (59.6%) when appearing in only five games in 2021. Ridley gets a chance to rebound with an ascending quarterback and offense, and I expect to be higher on him than most throughout the offseason.

Christian Kirk: Kirk set career highs across the board — 133 targets, 84 receptions, 1,108 yards and eight touchdowns — in his first season with the Jaguars. It will be difficult for Kirk to duplicate last season's 23.2% target share with Calvin Ridley returning from suspension.

Evan Engram: The Jaguars designated Engram with the franchise tag, and the two sides will have until July 17th to reach agreement on a long-term extension. While Engram missed 14 games in his first three seasons (2017-19), he has missed only two games over the past three years. Joe Burrow: Does any team have as talented of a trio as the Bengals do with Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd? Burrow's rookie season (2020) ended prematurely after sustaining a torn ACL, but he has a 69.3% completion rate, 69 touchdowns (6.1 TD%) and 8.1 yards per attempt average over the past two years.

Joe Mixon: Missing multiple games in all but two seasons (2019 and 2021), Mixon has been an inefficient (career 4.1 YPC) workhorse (16.4 carries per game). In addition, he set career highs as a receiver in targets (75), receptions (60) and yards (441) in 2022. There is some uncertainty, however, as Mixon deals with offseason legal issues and a $12.76 million cap hit (and no guaranteed money) in 2023.

Trent Taylor6.973.30.52.611.10.115.49

Ja'Marr Chase: Chase missed five games in 2022, but in some ways, his numbers were even better in his second season. Chase averaged a 7.3/87.2/0.75 line and fell short of 50 receiving yards in only one of 12 games last season. As a rookie, he averaged 4.8/85.6/0.77 per game, but he failed to reach 50 receiving yards in six games in his debut season. Assuming that Chase stays healthy, bigger and better things should be expected in his age-23 season.

Tee Higgins: Other than perhaps the Dolphins with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, no team has a better WR duo than the Bengals have with Chase and Higgins. As he enters his age-24 season, the former Clemson Tiger already has three years of consistent production with a total of 215 catches for 3,028 yards and 19 touchdowns. Higgins has a minimum of three catches in 38 of the 41 games in which he played at least 50% of the offensive snaps.

Tyler Boyd: Boyd set five-year lows in targets (82), receptions (58) and yards (762) in 2022. Even so, he has extended his streak of top-36 seasons (half-PPR scoring) to five. He's a relatively low-upside flex option, other than weeks where either Chase or Higgins is sidelined.

Josh Jacobs 2023 Fantasy Football Profile

Leading up to the start of the 2023 NFL season, we will post 2023 Fantasy Football Profiles for several fantasy-relevant players.

Embed from Getty Images

Fantasy managers who drafted Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs got a veritable bargain in 2022.

Outperforming his 2022 average draft position (ADP), Jacobs averaged exactly 20 carries per game and led the NFL in rushing yards (1,653), touches (393) and yards from scrimmage (2,053) last season. In addition, Jacobs posted career highs in yards per carry (4.9), yards per target (6.3) and yards per touch (5.2) in 2022.

While he won't ever see Christian McCaffrey or Austin Ekeler type of passing game volume, Jacobs has exactly (a career-high) 64 targets in back-to-back seasons. He has finished with 54/348 and 53/400 receiving lines in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

The Raiders designated him with the franchise tag, something Jacobs has yet to sign and a recent tweet adds a little extra uncertainty. In fact, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero questioned whether he would sign it before Week 1 absent a long-term deal.

Setting aside any potential contract issues, however, Jacobs returns to a backfield with essentially the same competition for touches as he had last season even though second-year back Zamir White seems poised for a larger role. Jacobs dominated the backfield's touches in 2022. Las Vegas running backs not named Josh Jacobs handled a mere 77 touches (16.4%) total in 2022 compared to Jacobs' 393 touches.

Jacobs played a full 17-game slate in 2022 after missing at least one game in each of his first three seasons. Of course, durability is question mark for everyone in this game, but especially so for running backs.

Even though he has handled a large workload — 1,072 carries over his four seasons, Jacobs is young (turned 25 in February) and he handled a relatively modest workload in college (251 carries in three years).

Before the 2022 season, Jacobs performed as a fantasy's RB18, RB8 and RB14 from 2019-2021, respectively, in half-PPR scoring. Not only did Jacobs finish as fantasy's RB3 in point-per-reception (PPR) and half-PPR formats, but he led all running backs in standard-scoring (i.e., non-PPR) in 2022.

RushRuYDRuTDRec.ReYDReTDFantasy
Points
244.21062.38.5542.9309.50.9215.33

More projections:

Bottom line: Fairly Valued

Absent a long-term extension, there is at least a chance that Jacobs waits to sign his franchise tag until after the season starts. That uncertainty with his franchise tag and contract should at least give fantasy managers pause. While a LeVeon Bell-like holdout shouldn't be expected, there's no way to project how contract animosity could play out. For as long as there is contract uncertainty, I'd consider Jacobs on the overvalued side of being fairly valued.

A repeat top-five fantasy finish may be unlikely, but Smith is a viable QB1 type, especially with the Seahawks drafting Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the first round to complement their dynamic duo of D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

Kenny McIntosh1147.30.275.741.20.214.52

Kenneth Walker III: Walker rushed for 1,050 yards and nine touchdowns on 228 carries as a rookie. Expectations shot up following (Rashaad Penny's departure in) NFL free agency, but the Seahawks drafting a talented complement (Zach Charbonnet) in the second round should temper expectations. Walker finished 2022 as fantasy's RB16 in half-PPR scoring, and a similar level of production is most likely in 2023.

Zach Charbonnet: The second-round pick was highly productive at UCLA, and he has the skill set to be a foundation back. Unfortunately, Seattle is not an ideal landing spot for his 2023 fantasy outlook with Charbonnet expected to operate as the 1B to Walker's 1A in Seattle's ground attack. Given how much Pete Carroll would prefer to run the ball, however, there is a chance that he could approach stand-alone flex-level value even if Walker stays healthy for a full season.

Dareke Young7.588.50.500015.6
Cade Johnson2.830.90.20005.69

D.K. Metcalf: Metcalf has a minimum of 900 receiving yards in all four of his NFL seasons. While he finished with only six touchdowns last season, he had a combined 22 scores in the previous two seasons and he set career highs in targets (141) and receptions (90) in 2022.

Tyler Lockett: Lockett has exceeded 1,000 receiving yards in four consecutive seasons, and he has scored eight or more touchdowns in five consecutive seasons. Consistently outperforming his preseason ADP, Lockett has finished as fantasy's WR13 (2022), WR13 (2021), WR9 (2020), WR14 (2019) and WR15 (2018), respectively. While the team drafted Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the first round, it's likely that Lockett continues to exceed expectations.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Smith-Njigba lacks elite top-end speed, but he posted combine-best performances in both the 3-cone (6.57 seconds) and 20-yard shuttle (3.93). He's a polished route runner with outstanding ball skills and body control. A nagging hamstring injury forced him to miss nearly all of 2022, but he set the Big Ten receiving record with 1,606 yards in 2021. Even though he was the first receiver selected in the draft, finishing third on the team in targets behind Metcalf and Lockett will likely limit his fantasy upside in 2023.

Tyler Mabry2.322.60.20004.61

Noah Fant: In his first season as a Seahawk, Fant finished the year with 50 catches for 486 yards and four touchdowns. It was his third-consecutive season with 50-plus catches and tied a career high in touchdowns, but he set career lows in yards and yards per reception (9.7). Adding first-round rookie receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba could make it challenging for Fant and the team's tight ends to have fantasy-viable production.

Las Vegas Raiders 2023 Fantasy Football Projections

Our Fantasy Football Projections will be viewable by both position and team.

Below you will find our 2023 fantasy football projections for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Brian Hoyer72.647.9508.22.761.677.47.40.0729.19

Jimmy Garoppolo: Replacing Derek Carr with Jimmy Garoppolo is a lateral move, at best, for the Raiders and the offense's outlook overall. There are some concerns about Garoppolo's foot following surgery in March as well. Even when healthy, he offers no upside as a runner and is a middling QB2 for fantasy purposes.

RUNNING BACKS

PlayerAtt.YardsTDRec.YardsTDPoints
Josh Jacobs259.11127.19.0743.33140.9225.58

Brandon Bolden27.6115.90.6811.686.20.533.09
Jakob Johnson0004.733.20.26.87

Josh Jacobs: Jacobs led the NFL in rushing yards (1,653), yards from scrimmage (2,053) and touches (393) in 2022. He dominated the team's running back touches, as the rest of the team's backs had a total of 77 (16.4%). (How much more involved will Zamir White be in 2023?) In addition, Jacobs averaged a career-high 4.9 YPC and has now exceeded 50 catches in back-to-back seasons. Jacobs has yet to sign his franchise tag, however, and it's unclear when he will.

Zamir White: White, a fourth-round pick in 2022, played much less than expected during his rookie season (17 carries in 2022). The Athletic's Tashan Reed writes that "the Raiders may call on White to balance out the workload a bit more in 2023." Especially if Jacobs and the Raiders don't agree to a long-term extension, White will be a sleeper to target near the end of fantasy drafts.

DeAndre Carter3.337.60.20006.61

Davante Adams: In his first season without Aaron Rodgers, Adams was targeted a career-high 180 times and finished with 100 catches for 1,516 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns. Adams remains the league's best red zone weapon with double-digit touchdowns in six of the past seven seasons.

Jakobi Meyers: Meyers finished with 67 catches for 804 yards and six touchdowns in 2022, and he averaged a career-high 57.4 YPG. Given his familiarity with the offense and that Darren Waller is now a Giant, Meyers should rank (a distant) second on the team in receiving, producing WR3/flex numbers in 2023.

Michael Mayer33.93672.100066.25

Austin Hooper: Hooper was a top-10 fantasy tight end in back-to-back seasons in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Playing for his fourth team in five years, Hooper has a chance to lead the position group in fantasy production, but he's unlikely to have any fantasy relevance outside of deep TE-premium leagues. The Raiders drafted Michael Mayer in the second round, and although rookie tight ends tend to start slowly, he's the tight end of the future.

Michael Mayer: While he's not an elite athlete, Mayer is a savvy route-runner with strong hands who led Notre Dame in receiving all three years he was in South Bend. His all-around skill set could accelerate his adjustment to the NFL.

2023 Fantasy Football Mock Draft: 12 Teams, Half-PPR, 3rd Pick

The best way to become good at something is to practice. So, what should you do if you want to draft a better fantasy football team?

Practice, of course!

Leading up to the start of the 2023 NFL season, we will use the Fantasy Football Mock Draft Simulator to complete fantasy football mock drafts.

We will use a variety of scoring formats — point per reception (PPR), half-PPR, standard scoring and even 2-QB leagues — and league sizes. The goal is to provide you with a good representation of the team that you may be able to construct given your league settings and the rationale of why we made the picks we did.

> Our mocks will be tracked here: Fantasy Football Mock Drafts.

That said, nothing beats practicing yourself so (check out the simulator) and complete a mock in a matter of minutes.

Half-PPR Mock Draft: 12 Teams, 3rd Pick

1.03 - Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Ekeler's elite production is game-script independent as one of the league's best receiving backs and he has led the NFL in touchdowns in each of the past two seasons with a total of 38 during that span. Ekeler led all running backs in half-PPR fantasy points in 2022, and he finished second behind Jonathan Taylor in 2021.

2.10 - Jaylen Waddle, WR, Miami Dolphins

With Tyreek Hill setting career highs in targets, receptions and yards, it's not a surprise that Waddle's targets dropped to 117 (in 2022) from 140 (2021). That said, he was utilized further downfield as his ADOT jumped to 12.7 (from 7.0), per PFF, and he led the NFL in yards per reception (18.1). He finished as fantasy's WR7 overall.

3.03 - Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Other than perhaps the Dolphins with Hill and Waddle, no team has a better WR duo than the Bengals have with Ja'Marr Chase and Higgins. Entering his age-24 season, Higgins already has three years of consistent production with a total of 215 catches for 3,028 yards and 19 touchdowns. He has a minimum of three catches in 38 of the 41 games in which he played at least 50% of the offensive snaps.

4.10 - Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers

Before last season, Jones had three consecutive seasons with double-digit touchdowns. That said, he set career highs in rushing yards (1,121) and receptions (59) in 2022. Transitioning from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love adds some uncertainty, but Jones has 47-plus receptions in four consecutive seasons and 1,459-plus YFS in three of his past four seasons.

5.03 - George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers

Based on his talent alone, Kittle should be targeted more than he will be. Even so, he has finished as a top-four fantasy tight end in four of the past five seasons. The exception was when he missed eight games in 2020, but he finished third on a PPG basis that season behind Travis Kelce and Darren Waller. The other concern with Kittle is he has missed multiple games in four consecutive seasons, but he has averaged 70.4/947.8/5.8 per 17 games over the past five years.

6.10 - Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The obvious concern for Evans (and the passing offense) is replacing the retired Tom Brady with Baker Mayfield. Perhaps his streak of 1,000-yard seasons ends at nine, but I'm comfortable with him as my WR3 even if his week-to-week volatility increases.

MORE: Bucs draft a QB in our way-too-early 2024 NFL Mock Draft

7.03 - Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers

Herbert set career lows in passing in part due to Keenan Allen (seven games missed) and Mike Williams (four) missing significant time. Through three seasons, however, Herbert has averaged a 17-game pace of 4,696 yards, 31.3 touchdowns and 11.7 interceptions with another 237 rushing yards and three touchdowns. TCU rookie Quentin Johnston adds a vertical weapon to this offense, and more shots down the field will boost Herbert's upside. Through three seasons, he has finished as fantasy's QB9, QB2 and QB11, respectively.

8.10 - James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills

Cook is one of Buffalo's biggest fantasy winners of the draft, as there was some projection that the Bills could target someone like Bijan Robinson if he slipped. (Of course, he didn't.) Topping the depth chart going into the 2023 season, there is a decent chance that Cook exceeds expectations.

MORE: 2023 NFL Draft Grades

9.03 - A.J. Dillon, RB, Green Bay Packers

Even if I didn't already roster Jones (in this mock), Dillon would have stand-alone fantasy value. He has finished as a top-30 fantasy running back in back-to-back seasons. During that span, Dillon has 435 touches including 62 receptions on 80 targets for 2,092 yards from scrimmage and 14 total touchdowns.

10.10 - Elijah Mitchell, RB, San Francisco 49ers

Mitchell would be a fine bye-week replacement for this team, but his real value would come if Christian McCaffrey were to miss any time. While CMC deserves to be drafted as pick 1.01 in fantasy drafts, we've seen how productive non-CMC backs (including Mitchell) have been when given the opportunity.

11.03 - D'Onta Foreman, RB, Chicago Bears

Foreman had only 37 rushing yards through the first six weeks of the season, but following the CMC trade, he became one of the few bright spots for Carolina with 191/877/5 rushing over the final 11 games of the season and performed as a top-24 back (all scoring formats) during that stretch. At a minimum, he's worth a bench stash in the 11th round.

12.10 - Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers

13.03 - Hunter Renfrow, WR, Las Vegas Raiders

The duo of Doubs and Renfrow provide some depth as this team's WR4/5, respectively.

14.10 - Anthony Richardson, QB, Indianapolis Colts

Shane Steichen will cater Indy's offense to Anthony Richardson's skill set, similarly to how he put Jalen Hurts in position to thrive in Philadelphia. Ups and downs as a passer should be expected, but his elite rushing upside immediately puts him into the QB1 (top-12) mix. Justin Fields, as an example, finished 2022 as fantasy's QB6 (fifth on a PPG basis) despite ranking only 26th in the NFL in passing yards (2,242).

15.03 - Buffalo Bills DST

16.10 - Brandon McManus, K, Jacksonville Jaguars
